Chapter 95 Who Is Mr. Michelle
Chapter 95 Who Is Mr. Michelle
"Actually, several members of the elite police force already knew about the symbol. Others had already inquired with several people. The thirteenth's name wasn't known for certain, but there were two very clear points that pointed to who the current head of the elite police team was. And all this time, we also know that no one has replaced Mr. Michelle as head of this country's elite police team."
Robin was becoming increasingly frustrated. This was a problem so incredibly complex that even just knowing about it was driving him nearly insane. How could something like this exist? A problem so utterly confusing that anyone would think it was an impossible feat, one that no one could ever solve.
"I don't even know what this is. It's almost insane, and I'm even going crazy because of this problem that I can't even find a proper solution. I'm so unsure of myself whether I can solve this problem or not."
"Now you believe what I'm saying, right? This isn't just a simple case; it involves someone we know so well, and we've always known he's not that kind of person. So when his name was involved in this case, it felt like I was dreaming and almost couldn't believe it. Or maybe I even thought this was just a misunderstanding that mentioned his name."
Robin immediately covered his face with his hands. He didn't know what was happening, but he was clearly devastated by the reality he'd just discovered. Meanwhile, Kay was standing on the roof of a towering building. The man was carrying a gun, and his expression was extremely serious.
“Sir, your wife and her ex-lover are investigating the deaths of important figures in this country.”
Kay didn't react at all until she glanced at the man beside her.
“Please arrange a time for me to meet with Robin. I have something to tell him.”
A message came into Robin's phone, and he stood on the balcony, reading it.
\[Sir, we know you're with Mrs. Alexander. But listen to me, Mr. Alexander wants to meet you alone. Can you meet him? If you're willing, please answer, and we'll send you the address.\]
Robin certainly wouldn't pass up this opportunity. This was what he'd been waiting for.
Meeting Kay, and the two of them having to meet. There were many things Robin wanted to ask in person. For Robin, Kay was the most important of all the deceased victims.
Whatever it was, Robin believed Kay was the one most likely to know about this murder.
Yes, Robin had been convinced from the start that Kay was a key witness, more than anything else.
"Julia, I have to meet with my business associates. So, can you help me find anything suspicious?"
Robin quickly ran to his car, and answered the message briefly. \[Send the address immediately, I'll be there soon.\]
The address was sent immediately, and Robin knew it belonged to the largest company in the country.
"Wait, what's going on? Isn't this the company owned by the murdered parents? And Julia's husband invited me to meet here? Isn't it obvious that this is the company of the murdered couple? The richest businessmen in the country."
Robin accelerated his pace until he finally arrived.
Half-jogging, he gained full access through all the security guards until he was at the very top of the building.
There was a man standing there, and his back was to Robin, which was certainly something he had never imagined.
"Why did you invite me here, sir?" Robin asked.
Kay didn't budge. The man still had his back to Robin.
"I know you already know me better than anyone, so I don't think there's any reason for me to hide anything. Besides, if anything happens in the future, I want to leave you a message."
Robin swallowed hard upon hearing this, and it was truly a very serious matter for him.
"Is it true that you killed them? The thirteen names suspected of being involved in your parents' murder?"
Kay paused for a moment, the man now facing Robin with a smile.
"I'm just trying to seek justice from a country that has never given me justice."
Robin swallowed hard.
The man's words.
The look in his eyes.
The expression on his face.
Completely different, Kay was unlike any man Robin had ever met.
"Who... who exactly are you? Explain it to me!"
"You don't need to know who I am at all because I don't think it matters at all," Kay replied.
"I'm sure you're no ordinary person. Because it's impossible for you, as a mere civilian, to still be this calm after committing so many murders, even if you harbor a grudge."
"You can answer this, I suppose I don't need to do it again, do I?"
"Then who are you?"
"I'm just me. I have thousands of arms and legs, and I don't need to use my own hands and feet to do what I want."
Who exactly is this Kay Alexander?
"Now, what do you want to tell me?"
"You have no intention of arresting me? You already know they died because of me," Kay replied casually.
To Robin, that was completely irrelevant, as he believed the victim was a state criminal who deserved punishment.
However, of course, for fellow humans, not God, killing is not an act that anyone can justify.
"I think you're overreacting, don't you? Committing a murder like this."
"A life must be repaid with a life," Kay replied.
"What do you want to tell me?"
"Take care of Julia."
Robin paused for a moment.
"I don't want Julia to be dragged into this case. I don't want Julia to be dragged into this just because all the killers might know who I am, and Julia is my wife. One of them already knows me. I don't want to put Julia in such terrible danger, and I don't want to. And secondly, I don't want Julia to be involved in this matter, if I get caught, and so on, it will ultimately affect Julia. After all, Julia is a police officer; I don't want her to be disgraced because of me."
Robin remained silent, as if waiting for the man in front of him to speak again.
"Besides, if someone were to kill me, Julia would be safe, and if I died, Julia could continue living."
"You're crazy."
Kay smiled.
“You know how supportive your wife is of you. She even kept silent, trying to protect you, and I know she loves you deeply. How could you even think about dying?”
“Love wasn’t something I considered important from the start.”
“Damn you! Then why did you marry Julia?”
