Chapter 107 Guests
Caden's POV
Coban took Trixie upstairs to lay her down and get her hooked up. I told him to lay down with her and hold her. It should speed up her recovery.
I came downstairs to get our guests situated.
Benjamin is leery of bringing all men here. I get it. Everyone from the bunker they were staying at is on there way here.
"Samantha, can you please take some dinner to Coban. Also lay some food out in the dining room, buffet style, please. We have many guests on the way." I say with a smile. She bows and walks off.
We're still ready for an attack. We're staying on guard. I'm glad we rigged more than those two locations. There's explosives all around the damn palace.
Samantha brings a tray of sandwiches and drinks and lays them down on the coffee table in front of us.
"Darien, anything happen while we were out?" I raise a brow as I take a bite of a ham sandwich.
"No, nothing at all. You guys got all the action." He pouted.
"Your firecracker went off a few times on Lucian and I. She wanted to meet you all halfway." Darien said as he shook his head.
"Hey kitten, here, lean up, take a drink." Benjamin says to Trinity as he gives her a drink of water.
"My King" Benjamin started to say as I shook my head and interrupted. "I think after today we're all on a first name basis." I say as I raise my brows and smirk.
"Your exactly right Caden. Thank you all again. How's Trixie. Has she woke up yet? Will she be ok?" He asks with concern as he takes a bite of his sandwich.
"Yeah, she will be just fine, hopefully. She's my strong little mouse." I begin to say as we hear Trinity laugh softly.
Benjamin places his hand on her face "is something wrong kitten." He asks as he gives her another drink.
"You call me kitten and he calls her his little mouse." She laughs a little louder this time as we both chuckle.
Kevan comes in and steps in the doorway "Caden, there's quite a few that's hurt and needs medical attention. They need to be treated." He says as he spots the sandwiches, walks over and grabs one.
"Anyone that's in need of immediate care and needs to be watched throughout the night, take them to the infirmary. The ones that just needs stitched up or bullet removal, set up triage in the next room and I'll have Henry, Elizabeth and Barry meet you there." I say and then link the three to take their supplies and help the wounded.
"Kevan, the ones that is alright, start filling them into the guest suites please. Have carol get them anything they need. We will probably need any clothes that's extra, I know we keep things in the supply closet. Call a few extra staff in tonight. Tell them it's double pay if they volunteer." I say to him.
"Benjamin, you and her I'm putting in the deluxe suite. It's at the beginning of the hall. Is that fine or would you like the second floor for more privacy." I smirk and shoot him a wink.
He gets it as he smirks back.
"Are the rooms soundproof." He asks with a raised brow.
"Benny" Trinity says as she smacks his chest.
"Your room is. Theirs is not." I say with a grin.
Benjamin looks at Trinity and wiggles his eyebrows "Hear that kitten. I can have you purring all night and no one can hear."
Yeah, that got him another smack on the chest as Benjamin and I both laugh.
"You both can go rest if you want. I can take care of the men tonight. I'd say everyone just wants to eat and rest tonight." I say as I run my hand over my face.
"My King," Mark came in the room running.
"We had movement at the guard shack. I tapped into the security system. It was some of Alpha Blake's men. They said they wanted to talk to you." He said as he was wiping the sweat from his brows.
"Not a chance. Tell them to leave or they will be killed. The choice is theirs." I barked out. My temper is rising. Benjamin notices "Too bad Trixie's not down here. You can't even grab you a handful." He says straight faced and all. Then we both burst out in laughter.
"Yeah, man I told you that shit worked. These looney tunes looked at me as if I were insane. But it definitely works." I say as I shrug my shoulders.
"My King. They want to make you a deal." He tries once more.
"Mark, tell them to leave at once or they will be killed. That is trespassing. They are not welcome here." I raise my voice a little louder.
Mark, being agitated himself "around 5 ft 6or 7 inches tall. About 125/130 pounds. Long wavy brown hair, brown pretty eyes. A very beautiful young lady around 24ish". He states and smirks.
Benjamin sits up straight. "What the fucking hell." He said.
"Mark, you have our attention. What's going on?"
I ask. "They have Benjamin's sister and wants to make a swap, for Lydia."
