Caden's POV
Fuck
I mean I don't give two shits about Lydia. If it means getting his sister back.
"Brother, we have a situation." I mind-link Coban, hoping he's awake. Yeah, he wouldn't sleep last time. This time won't be no different. Maybe this time he might do her makeup.
"Yeah, what is it." He says. Short, sweet, and to the point. Yeah, he's all up in his head again.
Damn. When are we ever going to catch a damn break.
"Alpha Blake sent men to our gate. Mark informed me that they wanted to swap Benjamin's sister for Lydia." I wait for his response. Nothing. Uh shit. "So what's the answer." Mark says as he just walks off and goes out the door, back outside.
"I'm not sure what is happening, but evidently Coban gave Mark something to do." I said to Benjamin. "Knowing him, there's going to be no swap. He's pissed."
Were all quiet, trying to hear anything but the guard shack is to far away to hear what's going on but we can watch.
"Coban. What's your answer." I link him for attention. To see what he's up to.
"There isn't going to be no damn swap. They all die." He said and closed the link.
Fuck. Tonight wasn't the night to fuck with him. That's for sure.
"Roxie, are you with Trixie, Sweetheart." I ask nicely to her.
"Yeah, Coban asked me to sit and talk to her while him, Darien and Lucian takes care of something." She says softly. "They kind of rushed off and told me if you asked that I need to tell you that he had no time to explain or go back and forth."
Fuck. Double fuck. Yeah those men will definitely die today. They won't even see it coming. He took the two absolute best we got. Yeah those three will be just fine.
"I'm sorry to bother you but that's my sister, I need to go out there myself." Benjamin says as he's putting Trinity in the chair and standing up.
"Hold on. Sit back down. Your all roughed up and your woman needs you. My brother needs this." And I point in the direction outside. "No there won't be no swap. Yes Coban made that decision but that doesn't mean we won't get your sister. Give it five to ten minutes if that. They will be walking in that door." I have a grin on my face the size of Texas.
Benjamin must understand cause he's showing off matching grins.
I head to the window and fuck was I right. "Ben, come over here. We need some popcorn."
Benjamin comes over beside me, handing me a bowl of chips and looks as well.
Mark is at the gate, gate is closed.
They have atleast 20 warriors at the gate, one a little in front of the rest.
"They came to the palace with that. They must have some huge ass balls." Ben says.
"There's your sister, she's in the back. The sick fuck is grabbing her by her hair." I say angrily.
I can feel the heat coming off Benjamin.
"That fucking bitch ass. I'm going to kill him."
he seethed.
"Calm down brother. I bet you my left nut sack that those three make them all pay."
"Oh crap, the guards are telling them something and leaving. Marks walking off as well." I smirk. I know what's going to happen.
"What the hell!" Benjamin asks.
"What are you known for?" And I leave it at that.
A grin from ear to ear came across Benjamins face as Coban goes up behind the guy holding Brandi and slices his throat. He passes her to Lucian and their gone.
"Boooooom"
"Shit, that was, fuck man, encore encore." Benjamin screams and claps his hands.
I'm bending over busting a gut laughing so hard at his behavior. Hence why he blows shit up.
"Hey brother, Benjamin. We have something well someone for you." He said with a grin.
"I'd like to stay and chat but I told Trixie I wouldn't be gone but a few minutes." He said winked and walked off.
"Is she" Benjamin started to say before I shook my head. I lipped "NO". He nodded in understanding.
"Benny" Brandi says quietly. "Thank you" he said to Darien and Lucian. They both nod their heads.
He walks over to his sister. "Hey sis, are you ok, did they hurt you." He asked her.
"No not really. Benny, it was Clarence , he took me. He said I belonged to him and that you were dead. He took me to Blake's pack, he went to grab something that's when those guys grabbed me and brought me here." She sobbed.
"Shhhh. Your alright now." Benjamin says as he hugs her in his arms. They pull away from their hug.
"Are you hungry?" Benjamin asks her and she nods her head.
"No, she can have a real dinner. She don't have to eat that. I was starved and couldn't wait. It was fast. In the dining room we have dinner set up. A little of everything." I say with a gentle smile.
"Thank you" Brandi says softly.
"Good job brother." I link him.
"Thank you. Sorry I couldn't explain. I didn't want to leave her but I was angry. That helped." He says flatly.
"You had the guard shack wired." It was a statement. I already knew he must have.
"Benjamin's men did that earlier today with one hell of a demonstration." He laughs.
