Chapter 106 Just resting
Coban's POV
I heard a thump and I instantly turned around. Fuck Benjamin and his feelings. That's my girl, my mate, my Queen, my everything.
"Fuck" I scream as everyone follows suit and turns around as well.
I drop to the ground and pick Trixie up in my arms. "Eugene, fuck, Trixie is out cold." I said through the link as I walk us over to the sofa and lay her down. I drop to my knees beside her. We're followed by Caden. He drops to his knees as well.
In comes Eugene and Henry rushing into the room. "What happened?" Eugene said as he walked over to us.
"Henry, the girl in the floor by the entrance, please go check her out." I say as I just stare at my girl.
"She was. Fuck she brought her" I said pointing at the entrance "back to life. She has a heartbeat. I think she needs to rest." I finish saying as I brush the hair away from her face.
"Can I get in here to check her please." Eugene said softly as he waited for us to move.
Eugene checked her vitals and everything checked out alright. "She's fine my kings. Her heartbeat is faint but it's there. She's just resting. With her just waking up after taking that dagger and now this. It is just a lot on her." He says with care and understanding.
"I can hook her up to an IV if you would like or" he was saying until I cut him off. "No. Not right now. If she don't wake up real soon she will need more than an iv. Meet me up in our room here later. I'll let you know when we go up. Thank you Eugene. I say and smile up at him as I'm holding Trixie's hand.
"Love, you have to quit leaving me like this. Don't worry, I didn't leave your side before and I won't now either. I love you." I said softly as I laid my head on her chest.
Benjamin walks in with Trinity in his arms. She is awake, her eyes are open, barely but still open nonetheless.
Henry said her vitals are fine. She just needed to rest. No need for wires, tubes or anything else.
"Make yourself at home. You can sit down anywhere you want. Hey Kevan, can you have Samantha set up a guest room on the first floor, the deluxe suite please." I say to him as I rub the side of Trixie's face.
Benjamin sits on the sofa with Trinity still in his arms.
"Thank you man. Thank you for everything." He says as he shakes his head.
"I'm so sorry. Is she alright. Will she be ok." He asked as he nods towards Trixie.
"Yeah, she's just resting. She was struck by a dagger the other day. Saved Caden and Calvin both a day before that, now this." I said laughing like a hyena out of the blue.
"How did you all know we were being attacked?" He asked quietly, almost a whisper.
Caden and I both looked at eachother. Sometimes we do that. It's a twin thing. We can talk with our eyes, our looks to eachother.
"I saw it" I said simply and shrugged my shoulders. "I was hoping it hasn't happened yet but we weren't that lucky. "
I looked over at him. I know he has questions but right now, I'm not thinking right again. She's my everything and I hate it that she's like this. Damn it. Atleast she's alive. I can feel it through our bond. She's passed out but she's still sending love, safety, happiness. She said last time she heard everything I said. But we weren't fully mated. This time atleast I can feel her. That means she can feel me as well. So I send it back.
"Coban had Boris, your man" Caden smirks at him while shooting him a wink "come to him and asked him to take us to you. He wasn't going to at first. Definitely wasn't going to give your location up, but when he saw we had the Lycan Army ready to go he gave in and led us to you." Caden says to Benjamin as he kneels down and kisses Trixie's forehead.
"Thank you. Damn we were losing that fight. They brought well over 300 men. I have my men at three different locations. I had about 25 with Clarence, he was my beta, my second and I had 25 with TJ, he's my gamma. We were outnumbered badly." Benjamin said as he ran his hand through his short brown hair. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back.
"What happened man?" I asked and looked over at him.
"It was my Beta Clarence, he went to Blake, told him I was backing you two, gave my location and took my sister. Long story short version." He said on a sigh.
"Look man, we will get her back. Once we all rest and get our head back on straight we will meet upstairs or wherever, and discuss everything." I said sincerely with a small genuine smile.
"Samantha, bring us in some sandwiches or just anything. Please and thank you." I say to her through our link.
"Hey man. I don't mean to bombard you with questions but I had my men stay back and help with your wounded. I'm sure you all aren't staying there tonight. You mentioned three locations. Why don't you have your men come here, the ones you trust anyway. If not they could hit again."
He looks over to me with gratitude in his eyes "Thank you. Damn. Thank you very much."
"Benny" Trinity says with a very weak voice.
