Chapter 52: Useless and Worthless

Gabriella.

"Is there any news, Viktor?" I asked him when he entered our room.

It'd been two days since Jenny arrived here at Silver Fang Pack. When we found out what happened to their Pack, Viktor wasted no time and called an emergency meeting the next day.

All the Alphas of the Kingdom arrived. They were all in trouble because of the news that Lycan Gregory did to Jenny's father. They talked about what might happen with Lycan Gregory's arrival here in the Kingdom.

Now, I still don't know anything about Lycan Gregory, but according to what I heard, he was a ruthless Lycan!

Viktor hugged me when he got close to me, and after that, he looked at me.

"The last report we received, he is not here in the Kingdom right now," he answered.

"Isn't he here?"

"Yes, but all the Packs are on alert. If they come and see Lycan Gregory here, we will know immediately."

I held my breath because of what he told me.

"Why are you all so concerned about Lycan Gregory, Viktor?" I suddenly asked him.

"You heard what Jenny said. Lycan Gregory killed her father, Gabriella," he replied. "That's how he is. He has no mercy on individuals who oppose his will," he added.

He walked over to the bed and sat down. He bowed his head and closed his eyes.

"If only we could petition for the return of the former Lycan who ruled here in the Kingdom, we have already done so, but we can't do anything. We sent an official letter before to prevent him from coming here, but nothing happened," his voice was full of frustration.

I approached and sat on the bed beside him. I held his hands. He looked at me, so I smiled at him.

"If we follow what he wants or what he says, maybe he won't do anything to us, right?"

He tilted his head, "We don't know, Gabriella. No one knows what he will do, and what he thinks."

"Don't you guys know anything about him besides being a Lycan?" I dug deeper to know Lycan Gregory.

"He is a private individual, Gabriella. We don't even know who his parents are or where he came from. All we know is that he is looking for who will be his Luna," he replied.

"He is a mate less Lycan?" I couldn't believe what Viktor told me.

"Yes. He has chosen many women to be his Luna, but they all didn't last long."

"They all didn't last long? They left Lycan Gregory?"

"They didn't last long because they all died!"

I stood up because of what I heard. All the ones he chose to be Luna died?

"Why? Why did everyone die?" I stammered.

"Nobody knows," he replied curtly.

I knew that I would know very little about Lycan Gregory from Viktor. If Viktor doesn't have much information on Lycan Gregory, especially on other Alphas here in the Kingdom.

"Get some rest, Viktor. I know you're tired today because of what's going on."

He nodded, "I'll take a shower before I rest," he said.

After he finished his shower, he laid me on the bed. He hugged me and we slept together.

The next day, I woke up without Viktor by my side. It's surprising because when he wakes up, he wakes me up so we can have breakfast together. Maybe he went to a sudden important meeting.

After getting myself ready, I left the room to go to the dining area. As I approached the dining area, I stopped walking when I heard Viktor's voice. He was talking to a man that surprised me.

I saw the maids standing silently around the dining room, their hands shaking, and their eyes closed.

I frowned because of what I was seeing. Because of curiosity, I walked into the dining room. I saw Viktor sitting in front of the dining table, facing a man wearing Golden armor.

Viktor's eyes widened when he saw me. The man Viktor was talking to slowly looked at me.

"Who is she?" The man asked while looking at me.

I squinted my eyes. I watched the man. They seem to be the same age as Viktor. He wears glasses, and his face was gentle.

Viktor stood up and quickly approached me. He stood beside me and held my hand.

"Lycan Gregory, I would like to introduce you to Gabriella, my soon-to-be Luna," he introduced me.

My eyes widened. Lycan Gregory? Is he the Lycan Gregory they fear? The killer of Jenny's father?

Lycan Gregory stood up and approached me. He looked at me as if he was looking for something in my eyes.

His aura was different than I feel. It was strong and terrifying!

"How did you become Viktor's Luna? You are a useless she-wolf!" asked Lycan Gregory weakly but with an insult Useless she-wolf?

Lycan Gregory looked at Viktor, "Don't you have a second-chance mate, Viktor? Why did you choose a wolfless she-wolf?" he questioned him.

Viktor looked at me. We both stared at each other.

"Honestly, I don't care if Gabriella is wolfless, Lycan Gregory," Viktor replied while looking at me.

"It doesn't matter to me if she's a werewolf or any other powerful creature. The important thing is that we feel the same way. We both love each other," he added.

Lycan Gregory just looked at Viktor seriously. Soon, he looked at me with disdain. He grimaced and looked at me from head to toe.

"I must say, you have a point, and you choose a beautiful woman, Viktor. But for me, when a woman is useless and worthless, I will not spend my time entertaining such a weak woman like her," he gave his opinion which made one of my eyebrows up.

I calmed myself down. I decided to keep quiet no matter what he said about me. He doesn't know me and I have no intention of introducing myself to him. Let him think about what he wants to think about me, as long as he doesn't do anything bad here at Silver Fang!

I saw him extend his right hand in front of me. I looked at it and then looked at Viktor.

Victor nodded. I slowly raised my right hand to him to shake. When I held his hand, I suddenly felt a combination of heat and cold in my numb body. I didn't show it to him and smiled.

I saw his brow furrowed as if there was something strange about him. He quickly withdrew his hand.

Lycan Gregory looked at Viktor, and asked, "Who is this woman, Viktor!"
