Chapter 53: This Will Be The Last, Javier

Gabriella.

"Lycan Gregory's face doesn't show that he is a cruel Lycan, Viktor," I said while looking at Lycan Gregory's car leaving Silver Fang.

"Sometimes, our eyes are deceiving, Gabriella. Not everything we see in a person is true. We need to get to know them well enough to see the true colours of the person around you," Viktor answered me meaningfully.

I looked at him. His face was serious while also looking at Lycan Gregory's car that was driving away from the Palace.

I held his hand. He looked at me.

"During your conversation earlier, he didn't mention anything he wanted. I don't think he's going to mess with the Silver Fang, Viktor," I gave my opinion.

Earlier, we were eating breakfast, and the questions Lycan Gregory asked were about the Silver Fang Pack. What were Silver Fang's developments and future plans for the Pack? Their conversation was light, but I knew Viktor was careful with every word he said to Lycan Gregory.

"Let's not be complacent, Gabriella. We don't know what's on his mind. If he showed good behaviour earlier, maybe later he'll suddenly think of something and come back here," Viktor replied.

"That's what we'll do. As much as we can, let's not fight him. If we can give him what he wants, and there's no problem, we'll do it to avoid trouble," he added to which I nodded.

"Do you have anything to do today?" I suddenly asked him.

He looked at me, "Why?" he inquired.

"I would like to visit Mom, and take a walk."

"I won't do anything right now. If you want, I'll go with you two."

"That's what I had in mind. I want to be with you while the three of us go for a walk."

"No problem with me. I think Mom needs to go out and buy some things for her, too."

I nodded. Viktor and I entered the palace together to prepare. We also told the two maids to go to Mom and fix her.

After we finished getting ready, we went to Mom's room. When we entered, she was ready and sitting on the bed. I smiled at Mom before we approached her.

According to the doctors who are looking at Mom, her condition is fine. Just avoid things that can trigger her condition.

There was no problem because the Silver Fang was quiet. He can't see anything that can be an excuse for her illness to attack.

"Where will we go?" Mom asked.

"Let's just go for a walk, Mom. We'll buy things and bond," I replied.

When we got to the shopping mall, Mom and I bought clothes. The happiness is endless while seeing Mom's smiles. It feels good, and I'm happy that we are now happily together. Even though Dad is not by our side, I know that he is always guiding Mom and me wherever he is now.

We ate lunch at a famous restaurant here in Silver Fang. Their customers have high ranks, but when they saw Viktor, almost all their eyes were focused on us.

We ate in silence, and then we went for a walk around the beautiful places here in Silver Fang. We didn't know how long our sightseeing was, as long as the important thing was that the three of us were happy together.

It was late when we got back to the Palace. We go straight to our room to rest.

"Did you hear what your Mom said earlier, Gabriella?" Viktor asked me, he was grinning at me. I know that kind of smile!

"We're tired, Viktor!"

Viktor slowly approached me. He didn't seem to hear what I said. He put his arm around my shoulder and put his mouth close to my ear.

"But, your Mom wants a granddaughter or a grandson," he whispered to me. His voice was seductive which made me gulp.

"I want to keep my promise to your Mom earlier, Gabriella, so we have to make a baby!" He added.

I felt Viktor's hands extend from my shoulders to my waist. My body lifted me because of the tickle I felt. I felt heat all over my body.

"Viktor.." I called his name.

He slowly brought his lips closer to mine. I closed my eyes when I felt his lips, and savoured the sweetness of his love.

Soon, my lips parted.

"Are you ready to be marked, Gabriella?" He asked me.

I nodded.

Viktor picked me up and laid me on the bed. I just looked into his eyes. He stood in front of me and slowly removed his clothes.

A few moments later, someone knocked on the door of our room. I chuckled because of his face. He frowned and looked at the door of our room.

"Who's that!!" Viktor yelled.

"Alpha Viktor, Alpha Javier is looking for Luna Gabriella!" A warrior answered.

Is Javier here? What is he doing here at this hour?

Viktor and I looked at each other. Viktor sighed and put his clothes back on.

"Shall we face him?" I asked him.

"We have to deal with him, Gabriella. We have to finish what needs to be finished," he replied.

"There's nothing to conclude between the two of us, Viktor. I've talked to him before."

"I know how Javier feels, Gabriella. So what you do is talk to him and explain everything to him," I took a deep breath.

I got up from the bed and approached Viktor. I held his hand and we both left the room together.

"Where is he?" I asked the warrior.

"He's in the garden, Luna Gabriella," he answered.

When Viktor and I reached the garden, we saw Javier standing and facing the moon. We approached him and called his name.

When he faced me, I could see his red eyes, and I could smell the alcohol coming from him.

He suddenly grabbed both of my hands. Smile and suddenly hug me.

"Viktor, can you leave us alone?"

Viktor said nothing and left the Garden. I know Viktor was watching from inside so, whatever happens, he will get to us quickly.

"You're drunk, Alpha Javier! If possible, go home and come back tomorrow," I said.

"I'm not drunk, Gabriella. I just had a little," he lied.

I took a deep breath, "Why are you here, Alpha Javier?" I asked him.

"To pick you up!" He immediately answered.

I closed my eyes, "You know there's no need, Alpha Javier!" I said.

"I already settled on Viktor!" I added.

He shook his head, "No, Gabriella. I know you're only doing this to get revenge on me!"

"I know you still love me!" he added.

"That's why I'm begging you, Gabriella. Come back to me. I've cleared my name and I had nothing to do with everything that happened to you. My only mistake is that I didn't admit that you're the one I love, you're the one I need in my life!"

"Go home, Alpha Javier!"

He held my hand and looked at me. He was devastated as I looked into his eyes.

"No! I know you're only doing this to get revenge on me. I understand if that's what you want. I'll accept all your revenge as long as you come back to me!”

I tilted, "At first I planned to take revenge on you, Alpha Javier. Who wouldn't? I thought you were the one who gave the order to kill me. I thought you were the reason why our child died," I said.

"But when I found out that you were innocent of what happened to me, I cancelled the revenge plan against you," I added.

"Maybe this is the plan of the Moon Goddess for the two of us. We are the first destined by destiny, but in the end, we will not be the ones to be together, Alpha Javier!" I ended.

"I will not agree, Gabriella. You are what I need! You are what I love!"

"But you're not the one I love!"

"You loved me then, and I know you will still love me now!" insisted Javier.

"What don't you understand, Alpha Javier? I'm happy with Viktor!" I replied.

"So if you can, get out of here! No matter what you do, nothing will happen. Even if you cry blood, I will not go with you!" I added.

"What am I missing, Gabriella? I am now the leader of the White Moon Pack. The territory has expanded and Blood Lust has grown even stronger! If you look at it, Blood Lust and Silver Fang are almost equal!" He informed me.

"I will give you everything you want. Just say what it is and with just one word from me you will get what you want! Just come back to me," he begged.

"I don't care what you tell me, Alpha Javier. Even if you give me the world, I won't go with you, because I'm happy with Viktor!" I answered.

"No, Gabriella, you're just confused. Please, come back to me. I'll break up with Amanda just like you want!" He insisted.

"Go home, Alpha Javier!"

"I'll only go home if you come with me!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me suddenly.

"What's wrong with you, Alpha Javier!" I couldn't stop myself. I yelled at him, but he didn't seem to hear anything.

"Let go of me!" I ordered, but he kept pulling me into the palace.

"You're coming with me, Gabriella! I won't let you leave me!" I heard him say.

I looked for Viktor and saw him walking fast. His face was serious and his fists were clenched.

When Viktor got close, he punched Javier hard. Javier fell to the floor, and his lip bled.

"Don't interfere with this, Viktor! I'll take what's mine!" Javier yelled.

"From the start you rejected her, Gabriella is no longer yours, Alpha Javier!"

"No! Gabriella is coming with me!" He insisted.

Javier stood up quickly and pulled me. If I had the strength, I would have fought him earlier, but I didn't. I'm still weak because of the fight we had with Alpha Arman before, and Tala hasn't shown up yet.

I did not expect what happened next. Viktor pulled Javier and punched him one after another. Javier retaliated against the attack, but because of his drunkenness, he couldn't do anything.

Soon, Javier stopped, lying on the floor with blood on his face. He was unconscious, and I could clearly see tears in his eyes.

"Take him to the hospital," Viktor ordered the warriors around.

They picked up Javier to take him to the hospital.

'This will be the last time, Javier,' I said while looking at him while carried by the warriors.

When we lost sight of Javier, Viktor approached me and took my hand.

While we were in that situation, a warrior suddenly approached us.

"Alpha Viktor, there is an emergency! The Blue Lagoon Pack is currently being taken down by Lycan Gregory!"
