Chapter 25
Princess Yvonne's POV
We were in the dining room eating breakfast when my father, Alpha Carlos announced that he would be attending the mate bonding ceremony of the Oriens Moon Pack with me.
I frown at his announcement, "I won't be able to accompany you father, I need to attend my friend's birthday." I said as I didn't want to miss my best friend's birthday.
My mother, the Luna , smiled at Father while serving him some soup. "Rumor has it that he hasn't found his mate yet, is it true?." she asked.
I was stunned as I asked Father, "Really."
"Yes, that is why I want you to accompany me to the mate bonding ceremony. Maybe he may pick interest in you," Father said, and I reasoned with him because marrying a powerful Alpha like Alpha Nathan would be awesome. I will be a Luna where I will have several servants to serve me.
" I will go with you father."
"Why sudden change of mind?" Mother asked as she was placing her cup on the table.
Father navigated his eyes on mother, " Why won't she change her mind, do you know how it will feel if our daughter should marry Alpha Nathan? We can ally with him and it will make our pack strong and powerful." he explained.
I was scared not because I didn't like the idea of me becoming the Luna of a powerful Alpha but because I just found my mate yesterday.
" Mmm... If it works out I will just have to reject him since he's just the son of a beta." I thought to myself.
I left the dining area for my room after my meal.
I mind-linked with my friend, Kelly, and informed my friends that I won't be able to attend her birthday and she was very angry telling me she was already in my palace.
A few minutes later I heard a gentle knock on my door and I knew that it was Kelly as I asked her to come in.
She stepped into my room squeezing her face, " I don't understand, what were you saying about not attending my birthday?" she asked, annoyingly.
I told her about the mate bonding ceremony and she quickly picked, "That was good but what about your mate?" she asked.
I told her my plan of rejecting him if Alpha Nathan should choose me as his mate even though my wolf rejected it but I don't care as long as I can become a Luna.

My maids were helping to dress up and
I instructed one of them to bring me a red shoe that would match my outfit.
She came back holding a pink shoe. I was boiling with rage as I didn't understand why some lowlife maid like them could not just follow simple instructions. I slapped her across her face and they all gasped in horror.
I cast a disgusting glare at her. "Can't you follow simple instructions? I said I want a red shoe not pink."
She gazed down and trembled, " I'm sorry my princess." she stuttered as she apologized.
"Get out!! You fool." I yelled and she swiftly ran out of my room. I glared at the rest of the maid in my room, making them shivered in fear.
I gazed at my reflection in the mirror and I admired my beauty before I exited my room to meet my father who was waiting for me downstairs.
I paced toward my father and she praised me.
I stepped into the car with my father as the driver drove off

We arrived at the venue Father informed me that he was going to do his part by introducing me to Alpha Nathan's while I took it up from there.
He introduced me to Alpha Nathan and I was struck by his beauty. "How can man be this beautiful?" I asked myself as I was fascinated by his beauty.
I mustered courage as I asked him to take me as his mate even when I knew that he wasn't interested in me.
I was about to give up when he invited me over to his palace for a couple of coffee.
I was so happy that I had to lie to him that I had a friend whom I wanted to see.
I lodged in a hotel after informing my father about my plan.
I woke up very early and I left for Alpha Nathan's palace as I couldn't wait to see him. I was disappointed when the maid to me that he was still in bed and wouldn't want to be disturbed.
"Did he forget our appointment today?" I muttered to myself as I began to panic that he may have changed his mind. I had to threaten the guards and the maids before they could direct me to the Alpha's room, especially that old fool. I promise to make her suffer when I finally become the Luna.
I paced through the direction they had shown me and I was in awe of the sight I saw. The palace was indeed mighty and beautiful with a lot of decorations and several hallways with rooms.
I was about to go back as I wasn't able to locate the Alpha's room when my eyes fell on a wide road by the left, out of curiosity I decided to follow and see where it led.
I was so happy when I saw Alpha Nathan from afar.
I hastened my pace towards him with a smile but I was sad with the way he cast a disgusting gaze at me. I conceal my anger with a smile as I remind myself what I am here for.
Finally, he told me that he would make me his Luna and even asked me to tell my family that he would be coming to meet them to fix the date for our wedding, I was flabbergasted and feeling over the moon.
I left his palace immediately after I mind-linked my father and told him about the good news.

I drove into my palace and saw Felix, my mate leaning on his car. I navigated his gaze at me as soon as I stepped out of the car.
He paced towards me, looking at me sadly, making my heart ache in pain.
"Is what I'm hearing true?" He asked, holding my arms.
"We need to talk," I informed and my wolf howled in pain as she was already aware of what I wanted to say. My wolf continued howling as she fought to come out.
