Chapter 24
Alpha Nathan's POV
Yvonne was smiling foolishly at the space when I asked again impatiently, " You need to do what?"
Did she not hear me before, I thought as I saw the way she was startled by my question.
"Uhm! I mean, I need to select my maid so that they can help me Prepare for the meeting."
"Very well then, make sure you get ready before time," I informed her and left.
I was pacing to my study room when I mind-linked James to see me immediately.
I stepped into my study room and decided to start attending to some office work while waiting for James' arrival.
I was so engrossed with my work that I didn't notice when James entered, " Good morning, your Highness. You sent for me?” I heard as I snapped my head up immediately and saw James gazing at me.
" I can see, you are so busy," he added as he was taking his seat.
I Lifted my gaze from my work and nodded at him.
"How was your night, hope you work hard?" He winks with an evil grin on his face.
I Cast a questionable gaze at him, "How do you mean?" I asked coldly.
"Have you marked her?"
“Who? “
"Yvonne," he said with a smirk.
"What! I didn't even allow her into my room, talk more of mating with her."
On seeing my facial expression, James guffawed loudly, then quickly cupped his mouth with his palm, sniffing his laughter when he felt my murderous glare on him.
"I'm sorry, you need to see your face right now," he laughed.
"Is not funny," I said in a serious tone.
He adjusted himself and looked at me, "Is she that bad?"
"No, I think I haven't gotten over Catherine, I mean, I can't stand any other woman touching me even though my wolf was against it."
"This is serious."
"I have decided to organize a search for her again, this time I want to declare her wanted," I revealed.
"If that is the only way out there is no problem. I will ask if there is anyone that can help us to search for her quickly."
"Alright then, please do and let me know if you get anyone that can help us out."
"Already then, I will get back to you before the end of today," James informed me as he rose from his seat and left.
"I just hope I can find her this time around." Murmured to myself before turning my attention to my laptop.

It was evening already and I still wasn't able to finish with my work when the door swung open and Yvonne stepped in, wearing a red royal gown adorned with flowers and stone with heavy makeup.
I shook my head as I continued with my work, "What are you doing here?" I asked, coldly with my eyes still glued on my laptop.
"Emm..the elders are here," she informed me with a hint of sadness in her tone.
"I will be there in a jiffy. You may leave now." I replied and she stomped her feet on the ground as she spun around and left the room.
I hurriedly wrapped my work up before I made my way out of the study room.
I stepped into the throne room holding Yvonne's hand. Everyone stood up and greeted our respect as we walked to the throne.
I sat down with Yvonne sitting on a small throne beside me.
The prime minister stood up and greeted me, "We greet you, your Highness, as we appreciate your efforts in guiding and protecting our pack. We want to thank you for keeping to your words and also to congratulate you on choosing your mate and Luna." he said, and I saw Yvonne smiling and flicking away nonexistent wrinkles from her dress.
I cleared my throat," I thank you all for trusting and putting your faith in me as your Alpha. I promise to always do my best to protect and guide you all. " I said, and they all clapped happily.
The elderly one of them stood up with a smile, " Greetings your Highness. I know we are all aware that this is your Luna. I just felt that you should introduce her properly to us because there are some people here who are not from our pack." he said and some of the elders nodded in support.
"Fuck!" I course in my breath as I don't know who asked the old man to suggest such a ridiculous thing. I mean, they wanted Luna and here she was, do I still need to introduce her again?
I clenched my hands and gritted my teeth to calm myself down before I rose with Yvonne. I stretched out my hand for her and she placed her hand on it, I cleared my throat as I gazed at the crown, "I present this beautiful woman here, named Yvonne as my mate and your Luna." I announced and everyone clapped and cheered us up with Yvonne waving her hand at the people.
My wolf groan in pain as I made the announcement.
I released my arms from Yvonne and sat down.
" I have found someone who can help us to find Catherine," James informed me through the mind link.
I rose up immediately and whispered to Yvonne's ear that I needed to attend to something very important before I stormed out of the throne room.

I sighted James in my private garden as he was waiting for me and I hastened my pace towards him.
"Good morning, your Highness." he greeted. I nodded and urged him to give me the full update.
"I was able to meet some Alpha from some pack and declared Catherine wanted as I placed a huge ransom on her head and a friend of mine gave me the address of a man that can help us to find her as soon as possible," he informed me.
I was so happy by the news as I had a positive feeling of finding her.
I heard a footstep and I spun around to see who it was. " What.. What are you doing here?" I stuttered.
