Chapter 29 Discovery of Facts about Captain Bryan
John took a breath and continued speaking.
"In my opinion... your instincts are correct, Alpha. That's why when he left the puppy care room, Alex, I followed him. Coincidentally, Dr Moore received a phone call at that moment, so he stopped briefly not far from his room. And I heard... Captain Bryan was calling someone on his way to the lift and talking very seriously!" John exclaimed again.
"What did you hear, John?" Gerald was surprised and curious, leaning closer to John.
"It was vague, but clear enough for me, Alpha!" John exclaimed again.
"Then what did he say? Quick, tell me! Don't keep me in suspense!" Gerald said, growing impatient.
"He was saying something to someone on the phone... that it would be better to switch to plans B and C because that woman doesn't believe what I'm saying! Because of your stupidity! You can't even chase after a little brat! That's what he said, Alpha. What do you think... is he referring to Mrs. Jenny and your son Alex, Alpha Gerald?" John said again.
Gerald furrowed his brow deeper, causing his eyebrows to meet in the middle of his face.

"All right! One of our men reported that Alpha Adrian-Beta Mark's assistant was seen meeting with someone after Mrs. Jenny visited Alpha Adrian Dixon. And it looks like it was Captain Bryan, Alpha!" John continued.
"Are you sure? Could this all be on Alpha Adrian's orders? If he really started this... Watch out! I'll destroy him!" Gerald exclaimed, clenching his fists.
"I don't know, Alpha! They're too smart! Even our men aren't sure if it was Captain Bryan, Alpha!" John said, a little frightened.
Gerald stroked his chin and thought for a moment. "Investigate Dixon's movements then! And keep your eyes on Captain Bryan! Don't let him get away! We can't accuse them at this point! Because... we don't have enough evidence! And we can't be reckless and make accusations! After all, he's a police officer! I don't want us to get arrested for baseless accusations! That would be foolish!"
"Yes, Alpha!" John nodded.
"All right, if there's nothing else you want to say, we'd better go back inside! I want to know if Alex can come home today or not! How are the preparations at home? Everything is safe, right?" asked Gerald, starting to stand up, followed by John behind him.
"It's safe, Alpha! I've also prepared a nurse and a special attendant to help with Luna and your pups' needs at home! And your room and Alex Alpha's room!" John said again.
“Good! My room? What do you need to prepare for my room?” Gerald furrowed his brow.
“Hmm… since Luna Jenny has returned, you and Luna Jenny… I mean… you’ll be staying together in one room, right?” John felt a bit embarrassed discussing it, and Gerald’s cheeks turned red.
Gerald remembered their intimacy from last night, his body reacting every time he thought about it.
But suddenly... his body trembled and his chest hurt.
"Argh!! My chest!! John... why does my chest still hurt! The curse... Argh!!!" Gerald groaned in pain.
John panicked and guided Gerald back to sit down and rest calmly.
"Alpha, has your illness returned? But it's not time yet, is it? Isn't it... Your illness will return during the full moon? Besides... you've found Mrs. Jenny, your mate, right? And I mean... is it because you haven't done 'it' yet?" John asked hesitantly.
“What do you mean? ‘It’?” Gerald growled, holding back the pain.
“The Alpha Union!”
“WHAT??”
“Alpha, you must do it immediately and… with Luna Jenny’s acceptance… and with the black stone… then… the illness from our past battle and your curse will disappear!” John said.
Gerald thought back, ‘I’ve already done it? But what’s wrong? Is it because there’s no Black Stone, and because we did it before the full moon? Is that right? Yeah, maybe that’s why!’
“Alpha! Alpha!” Gerald fainted on the spot.
Meanwhile, in Alex’s room, after Gerald left, Doctor Moore was examining Alex’s health condition further.
Dr. Moore examined Alex's entire body without exception, such as asking Alex to open his eyes wide, open his mouth, checking his IV, and checking Alex's heart rate. He also looked at the results of previous examinations and many other things.
After a while, Dr. Moore finally finished his examination and said while making a note in Alex's medical records.
"It seems there are no issues. Once the IV is finished, Alex can go home! His condition is a bit weak, as I mentioned to your husband... Alex needs special care that can be done at home. Then he will gradually return to normal!" exclaimed Doctor Moore.
"Special care? What do you mean, Doctor Moore?" asked Jennifer curiously.
Dr Moore glanced back briefly and continued writing in his examination notes.
Dr Moore smiled to himself, thinking, ‘Judging from what happened when I came in, their relationship seems quite good! It looks like Mr Williams has told his wife and son everything! And they’ve accepted it well! Thank goodness there’s nothing left to hide! Besides, Alpha Gerald has permitted me to speak directly to his wife about Alex's condition, which means Mrs. Jennifer knows the truth, right? But why does she seem so surprised? Ah, maybe she forgot the details of Alex's treatment!"
"Yes. Alex needs special treatment because he is a werewolf descendant, and he used up a little of his energy yesterday, so his body needs to adapt to the change. Usually, that’s painful and weakens his body, but don’t worry—I’ve already informed your husband about the treatment! Alex needs a bath in holy water…and…” Before Dr. Moore could finish explaining, he was startled by someone’s voice shouting.
