Chapter 46

I didn't want to have to deal with any more Logan stuff for tonight. I knew that if I did so it might make what happened when I was in front of Carolina happen again. “I am going to find Jackson and see what I can help get started for him.” Shane stated. “Alright I am going to hang the dress up and then bring Gram her dress and tell her the good news as well.” I said excitedly.

“Alright my love just link me when you get there okay?” Shane asked me and I told him I would. I stood there and watched Shane leave. Then I marched up the stairs holding my dress and Grams. I could not wait to go over to her place and give it to her. Once I secured my dress in the closet and knew that was no chance of anything happening to it.. I picked Gram’s bag back up and brought it down the stairs with me. I literally just took off running. I opened the front door and that was when I hit him. He must have been about at least 6 foot and had on a yankees baseball hat. He grabbed onto my arms and I collided with him.

“Are you alright Luna?” The strange man said to me. “Yes… Do I know you?” I asked, feeling a little confused as to how he knew who I was. He didn't answer my question but stated that the Alpha called for him. I linked Shane to let him know his guest was here and then off I went. Even though I was curious about this guy.. I really wanted to show Gram her dress way more. I ran as fast as I could down the path that led to her pack house. When I got there however there was something I wasn't expecting. Gram and Ramiro were sitting out on the porch just talking. Ramiro doesn't even look like the kind of guy that sits down… ever… especially with a cup of Gram’s tea in hand. He must be living the life with this lady. I began to chuckle .

“Luna, let me help you with that.” Ramiro offered me. When he got closer I let him know what was in the bag so that he could hurry and get it inside. “When you get it inside. Take it out of the bag and put it somewhere laid out so that I can show Gram after I give her the good news.” I instructed him. “You got it luna.” He responded.

I can't wait to see the look on Gram’s face and hear her reaction. I can't believe this is happening so fast. Honestly I am more than excited to be officially the Luna of the pack. Something that I never thought that I wanted but love the fact that it is happening. I also wouldn't want it any other way. I trailed behind Ramiro as he brought Gram’s dress into the house. I went and sat right next to her. She looked at me, smiled and took a sip of her famous raspberry tea.

“I have some really good news for you Gram.” I said with a huge smile on my face. “Do you now child?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. “I do but before we talk about me. How have you been?” I asked. “Well Ramiro can give you better details, but this morning I woke up and was a little confused as to where I was and why..” She explained.

“Well thank the Goddess he was here.” I said very thankful that she was not alone like she would have been if we were still at her house in the city. “Yeah, tell me about it. He explained everything to me. Offered me tea and then sat with me at the kitchen table until everything came back into perspective.” She stated.

“Yeah, but it seems like your meds are working right?” I asked. “They help, yes.. But dear you know it doesn't stop the disease” She told me. It was not something I wanted to think about. I hated knowing that sooner than later she was going to start forgetting everything. And there would no longer be any recollection of things. “I know it doesn't. I have something very exciting to tell you.” I wanted to quickly change the subject and it seemed that she did as well. “Do tell..”

“Shane is going to officially label me his Luna tomorrow in front of the whole pack.” I couldn't contain my excitement. “Really?” she asked with a huge smile on her face now too. “Really!” Was the only answer I could give her. “That is outstanding.” She said as he grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze. “I know right… but we also have something very special for you for tomorrow as well.”

“And what is that child?” Gram asked. “Come with me and I will show you.” I was beyond excited and I can tell that Gram was also a bit excited to see what I had for her. Ramiro was standing at the door. He came over to us and helped Gram get up. He guided her into the house. He is amazing with her and I plan on telling Shane that he deserves something for everything that he has done for us.

***** Mystery Man Point Of View *****

I just got up to the door to knock when it swung open. The women I knew right then and there that it was Sierra. She ran right into me. When I grabbed her I felt our connection. She is my cousin and the next in line. Her mate here in the werewolf realm doesn't know who I am. All he knows is that I am someone who can help her with her powers. After Sierra closed the door behind her I stood in the foyer until I heard footsteps.

“Hey you must be Melakie?” Shane said to me. “That is me… it is nice to finally meet you Alpha. I saw Luna leaving just as I was coming in.” I responded “Yes she was dropping something off to her grandmother.” I was a bit confused. “Grandmother?” I asked because I had no idea our grandmother was still alive.

I was told that our grandmother passed away when we were little. I wonder what side of the family this Grandmother comes from, either way I need to meet this woman.

“So, I guess we have found out that Luna has special pixie powers and she needs some help with them?” I asked Shane. “That is correct. We are not sure as to what her powers are yet, but we know that we need someone to help her with them.” I knew what kind of powers she had because I have damn near the same powers. That is why I was sent. “Alright Alpha, I would be honored to help her. When would you like to start this training?” I could see the wheels turning in Shane's brain. I am not even sure if he told Sierra why I was coming or even told her that I was coming here today.

“Well, I think that we can start the training in 2 days time. That way we can have this Luna celebration and that also gives me time to let her know that you are here to train her. If that works for you. Would you mind staying here for a few days?” I looked at him and smiled. “I figured that was what was going to be needed. Yes, that works for me just fine.”

***** Shane’s Point Of View *****

I couldn't get over the fact of how much Melakie looked like Sierra. This made me wonder if every Pixie resembles each other or if there is more to who he is to Sierra. “Can I ask you a question, Melakie?” He locked eyes with me and nodded. “Are you and Sierra related by any chance? The only reason I ask is because of how much the two of you look like one another.” He smiled at me. “Actually yes, Sierra and I are related. She is my cousin. However I have only met her one or two times when she was a baby. Then that awful thing happened to her pack and then she was gone for a very long time.

I almost stopped her from telling her this when I saw her before. But I chose not to. I think that right now it might be a little much to know that this stranger was related to her. I know that she has a lot on her plate. So that would be something I would discuss with her at another time. With that being said. Please Alpha do not say anything to her. I want to be the one to tell her that she and I are related.”

I agreed not to tell her. But explained to him that I don't keep things from her. I also told him that he had until after the Luna ceremony to tell her or I would. He made it very clear that he would tell her then, and thanked me for letting him be the one to do it.
