Chapter 45

Sitting in Shane's office waiting for Jackson to come in, made the minutes feel like hours. Finally he came strolling into the office with a folder and some bottled water in his hands.

"Alpha, Luna, we might be in here for a bit so I brought us something to drink." Jackson informed us.

"Thank you"

"Your welcome Luna"

"What did you find?" Shane asked.

"My source is telling me that Logan is going to be coming here within the next week looking for Luna." Jackson replied.

'What the fuck! Why?' Shane roared.

"Her ring… and her…" Jackson answered.

"That is not going to happen." Shane roared.

"Oh but it is going to happen… the result is just going to depend on if we allow him to just come in and take her. That is where the problem is going to be."

"Then I guess we are going to be preparing for an attack. I will not allow him to take my mate anywhere."

I can't let this happen again, I cant let Shane or anyone in his pack die. I swore that I wouldn't do this for this reason and I won't be able to live with my self if something happens here.

"That is what I thought you were going to say Alpha, so I have arranged a pack meeting. This meeting is going to be where you are going to have to officially introduce Sierra as your mate and Luna. This way the pack will be linked to her."

"Alright let's do it." Shane said.

"Today is going to be our best day to plan everything out and get the cermony put together to do it tomorrow. " Jackson suggested.

"Then today is planning day."

Things were happening very quickly. I am very excited to be officially part of this pack. I was just sitting there in shock between Shane and Jackson's conversation.

"So Jackson, are you going to put this impromptu ceremony together for us?" I asked.

"Yes, Luna I am. With a little help of course."

"Good. If you need my help for anything I would be glad to oblige." I let him know.

"Thanks Luna, but there is one more thing…"

"Whats that?" Shane asked sounding a bit concerned.

"We have to pretend that we don't know anything. I know that Claudia and your mother told you somethings, but we cant let anyone else know what we know or are planning that way no one can be on to us."

"That is a great plan Jackson. I will make sure to not tell a soul." I answered.

"Good, we cant have any mishaps happen."

We chatted a bit more about what we were going to need for this ceremony. I know that I need a dress. That is the only exciting thing that has happened this whole week.

"Since we have to act like nothing is happening, let's go get a dress." I suggested sounding a bit bubbly. Not wanting to keep feeling down.

"Absolutely. I would love to go and pick out a dress for you.." Shane said as he turned and smiled at me.

"I can't wait to put on a mini fashion show for you my Alpha." I smiled at Shane and bit my lip.

We finished planning out a few more things and came down to this. Weare going to continue acting like everything's just fine. Like we don't have a clue. Then when Jessie comes back with the information, we are going to act like Claudia went on a vacation or something to not raise any concern from Jessie. After Jackson left the office, I turned to Shane and asked him some questions that were playing on my mind.

"What are we going to do if Logan comes here before we are ready for him?" I questioned.

"We are going to have to play it off like we don't know anything still. We will greet him, and welcome him without a hitch. However we will be on high guard the whole time that he is here and we will not let you go anywhere unsupervised." Shane answered sounding very confidant.

"Still. Who else is going to know about all this? Who else is going to be on our side when this goes down.. Who can we really trust?" I asked.

"I will personally put together a team. Once I have recruited who we need. I will let you meet them. How does that sound?" Shane assured me.

"I like that idea. Thank you."

"I just want you to be comfortable with everything that is happeneing and is going to happen."

"I appreciate you very much babe."

Shane came over and kissed the top of my head.

"Alright enough of this dower shit. Let's put a smile on and go shopping! Then we can come back and have dinner."

"Yay I can't wait."

I helped tidy up his office and then we made our way to the car. I just needed a dress and maybe a pair of shoes and I couldn't wait to see what there is to choose from.

When we got to the dress shop I immediately found the most amazing dress. Now it was time to head back to the pack. Shane had an extra bag in the car.

"Where did this come from?" I said looking at Shane unaware of what he was planning.

"Oh this thing? I picked it up for Gram, I figured that she would want a dress to look stunning in while her granddaughter is being titled Luna."

My eyes filled with tears… Shane really is such an amazing guy. He always puts others first, and thinks of everyone else's needs before his own. He would give you the shirt off his back.

"Shane you are such an amazing man. Have I told you that lately?"

"No but you can keep telling me.." Shane said as he gave me a playful smile.

"Oh I plan too. This dress is stunning." I said as I picked it up out of the bag.

"Do you really think that she is going to like it?"

"Like it? Oh no babe she is going to love it!"

"Really? Do you think so?"

"I do."

I admired the dress a bit more and then put it back into the bag.

"What is next?"

"Well we need to do some other things to prepare for tomorrow."

"LIke what?"

"Test some cake flavors things like that."

"Wow so it is like that kind of party?"

"Yeah… why is that not okay?"

"I have only been to 1 of those kinds of parties.. It didn't end so well." I said as the flash backs of that night at my pack when I was a pup flooded my mind.

I can tell by the look in shanes eyes that he knew exactly what I was referring to. Thankfully he is a very understanding mate.

"I promise that nothing is going to happen at this party" Shane promised.

"It is just so nerve wracking.. It has been a very long time since I was even at a party.."

"I know and we will get through it. I will not leave you by yourself."

" Promise?"

"Promise."

***** Alpha Logan’s POV *****

Jessie came back to the pack and told me that he saw her. The one I have been seeking and teasing for a very long time.

"Alpha it is good to be back" Jessie said as he shook my hand.

"Did you not have fun at your friends house?" I asked while chuckling.

"Far from it.. Now he has that mate.. And even though she is beautiful… he is turned soft.. Mark my words he will give his life for her."

"Maybe we need to use that to our advantage."

"What are you talking about?" Jessie questioned.

"We will use Shane to get Sierra to give me what I want. Then they can do as they please.. Once I get the ring to release its power it won't matter what anyone does. I will be the most powerfulest Alpha alive or dead!"

Jessie's little face dropped. I don't think that he really expected me to be this evil. But I mean shit who wouldn't take the opportunity to become the most powerful being on earth. Maybe plus two other realms.

" Don't worry boy, I will spare your new she wolf Claudia’s life. That way you can have her.."

A smile with tear filled eyes appeared on his face. I knew right then that he was just getting more and more pissed off.

"Well then if my offer isn't good enough then what do you suggest you get."

Jessie just shook his head and then turned around and walked away. I then made my way into my office.

"Witkin! Get in here."

I called for my beta. Even though he is very smart and capable of so much… I make sure that he knows that I always come first. I am the best and only what I say matters.

"You called me Alpha?" He asked seeming a bit nervous.

"Yeah it took you long enough. Bring Jessie to my office the minute he gets back inside. We have somethings we need to discuss."

I want Jessie to call Shane and tell him that he will be there tomorrow to talk about somethings... but in reality he is going to be my look out for my showing up to take what is mine.

"Yes Alpha."
