Chapter 32

Shane lifted me off the bed and carried me into the bathroom. I sat on the toilet.

“Arms up.”

Without hesitation, I listened and he removed my shirt.

Next, he removed my shoes and socks and then helped me to stand and took my pants down. Soon I was just standing there in my bra and panties.

“Would you like for me to take these off of you as well or do you want to do it?”

“You can do it if you don't mind..”

I couldn't stop clenching my stomach... The pain was so bad and nothing I tried helped... I needed help and Shane was the one to help me. When Shane helped me get into the shower the warm water seemed to help a bit.

This pain…Feels like my insides are twisting and are starting to drive me a bit bat shit crazy. Plus everything that has happened is making this a bit unbearable and feels like it is never going to end. The next thing I knew was that he was getting into the shower right behind me.

“How is the warm water helping with the pain?”

“It's alright... Not doing much…”

“I am not sure if the pain will go away 100% but at least 80% of it will... “

Without hesitation, Shane captured my lips with his. His kiss started out passionate. Very passionate. It was almost as if he was telling me he loved me through a kiss. I wasn’t expecting to be marked this soon into getting to know Shane but Via knew that this would help my heat. And she was not wrong. After marking each other we licked our marks to help them heal. Then Shane gently set me back down on my feet.

This was one hell of a shower and was not what I expected to happen today. It will however be a day I would never forget. Today signifies the day that he is mine and I am his.

“Now I am going to wash you.”

A blush started to creep up into my face turning my cheeks a bright apple color of red. I could feel the love pouring off of Shane. I think that I am starting to feel the same way about him. I don't know why or how but this is exactly how I wanted things to be as a little girl. I dreamed about having a mate like Shane. And as much trepidation as I had about having one in my older years. This is perfect. Well as perfect as it could be.

“What do you want to do now babe?”

I yawned.

“I wouldn't mind if you came to bed and held me tight. I am tired and want to get some sleep if that is okay with you..”

“That is perfectly fine with me Luna. I promise to sleep next to you and protect you for as long as I live.”

Shane, still in his towel, gets right into bed with me. I scooted as close to him as I could get. He pulled the covers up over us and I began to drift off. There had been so much that happened today. I couldn't be more grateful for Shane. He was the only one that I had left who knew exactly what happened that day in my pack. The only one who truly understood.
