Chapter 164 Quincy
Colton's P.O.V.
"Do you think we can trust them?" Dustin asks after everyone leaves. The dinner with the other bosses seemed to go well, but I don't know if I believe all those who said they would join us.
"A few are too scared to mess with the Kondratis and the Buccheris, but the others, I believe, will come through. Dakota and Ari aren't going to know what hit them. I was hoping to find out who burnt down Galdino's house, but no one wanted to admit to it." We go into the office and sit behind our desks.
"I'm not sure about Quincy. He was pretty quiet through the whole dinner." I light a cigarette and lean back in my chair.
"He's from one of the older families, so he may not be as willing to go against other old families. We don't need everyone," Dustin replies.
"What are we going to do with Aubrey? She is of absolutely no use to us. I wish you had never brought her back with you." I can't stand that woman. She's worse than a whore.
"We'll just use her, and then when we've had enough, we'll get rid of her. I thought she still had a connection with Ari, but she lied about that. We know there are five families we can count on, so we'll focus on them." I nod in agreement but don't say anything. I'm still pissed at Dustin for thinking he could keep that fake maid to himself. We share everything, but now I wonder what else he may be hiding from me.

After Galdino disconnected the call, I texted Jamie. If she doesn't do what I hired her to do, I'll have her killed, just like Maria.
Have you gotten to Luka?
She was supposed to try to get into Luka's room and assist him with taking drugs again. She said that he was going through withdrawals, but I needed him dead just like Yegor promised. If he doesn't die, then after Dakota is killed, he will most likely take over and want to avenge his cousin's death. I can't allow that. I need someone I can manipulate to take over. Jamie doesn't reply immediately, so I hope that means she's in his room and can't reply.
Yegor and I had an agreement that we would merge our families, but I planned to ruin him, too. He was too much of a loose cannon. When Jamie said that she overheard that Yegor was dead, I laughed. Dakota is more ruthless than I thought. I didn't think she would kill anyone who was a blood relative. I respect her, but that still isn't going to stop me from killing her.
He has someone staying in his room with him. Don't worry, I'll get him. I'll have to stick to texting for now. I have a feeling Dakota is keeping an eye on me. I'll let you know when I have anything.
I read the text several times. If Dakota is already suspicious of Jamie, that's not good. I may need to get her out and kill her sooner rather than later.
I sit back in my chair and think about the twins’ proposal. They're so stupid to think they're going to be able to take down the Kondratis and Buccheris with guns blazing and mob mentality. I'm going to pretend to be on their side and then hit them where it hurts. Galdino trusts me, and he'll vouch for me with Dakota. I'll have everything before Dustin, Colton, and the other families have time to blink.
