The Ranked one Alpha
The Ranked one Alpha
Norwan looks around as soon as they arrive at Don Grego’s house. Lynn heard that Grego had already arrived from his trip to the south and was currently staying in his mansion. Lynn is with Norwan now, and they both stand in front of Grego’s mansion. Norwan didn’t know that Grego was a mighty man, that Natalie was a daughter of a powerful man. Based on his mansion’s front appearance, Norwan already knew that Grego was rich and that Natalie was mighty. He couldn’t believe he belittled Natalie’s power when they were still together.
“We are looking for Don Grego. Is he here?” Lynn asks the guard. The guard looks at them and puts down the phone that he’s holding.
“May I ask what your agenda with the Don is, and who are you?” the guard asked, so Lynn looked to Norwan and gave him a signal.
“I am Norwan, Natalie’s ex-husband. This is Lynn, Natalie’s friend, and we are here to seek help from the Don.” Norwan answers, so the guards look at them for a minute before he gets the phone again.
“Hello, Can you tell Don that two people here at the gate are looking for him? They said they’re Ms. Natalie’s friend and ex-husband, and they’re here to ask for Don’s help?” the guard said while looking at the two.
“Yeah, please confirm it.” The guard added, waiting for a minute before he looked at the two and put down the phone.
“The Don is in his garden. My colleague will pick you up here and drive you to where the Don is,” the guard said. Lynn smiled at the guard and grabbed Norwan to the side of the road.
“You didn’t tell me that the Don owned a villa,” Norwan said while waiting for the guard’s colleague.
“Natalie don’t even say words to me. To be honest, this is the very first time I came here to his dad’s mansion.” Lynn answered, so Norwan looked around again. He couldn’t believe that this place was owned by Natalie’s father, and for sure, her father would give it to her soon.
The two waited for almost ten minutes before the colleagues arrived. They had a mini electric vehicle, and the driver was the guard’s colleague. Norwan and Lynn got into the electric car, and the guard started to drive. When they pass the broad road of the villa, Norwan can’t stop looking around. This was the very first time he had gone here and saw how big Natalie’s place was. We also wonder if Natalie grew up here.
“They’re wealthy,” Lynn commented, who is also looking around while the electric vehicle is driven by the guard.
“The maids are all waiting outside the garden, so please remove all your bags and unimportant things before you enter it.” The guard said, stopping in front of the large door; they even saw the maids that the guard was referring to. Norwan and Lynn exited the vehicle and drove by the guard away from them. Lynn and Norwan start looking at each other before doing what the guard tells them to do. They remove all unimportant things with them and even give Lynn’s bag to the maid before they let them enter the garden door.
As soon as the maid opened the door, many butterflies flew around. The beautiful and different kinds of flowers welcomed there, followed by the stunning views made by healthy flowers inside. Lynn and Norwan were amazed by what they were seeing right now. They both entered the garden and started to roam their eyes again.
“This is beautiful,” Lynn commented.
“Thank you for appreciating my wife’s garden.” They all looked up and saw Don standing on the second floor, looking at them.
“Please make yourself comfortable,” Don said, signaling them to go up where he was. They went to the glass elevator and clicked the only button there. It went up, and after a few seconds, they were already in front of the Don, who welcomed them from the door of the elevator.
“Welcome. Do you want some tea?” Don asks Lynn and Norwan to look at each other; they can’t start a conversation with Don because they’re staring at how modern their place is.
“Of course, come on. Don’t be shy; I won’t bite.” The Don said, so Lynn chuckled awkwardly and looked at Norwan, who was looking at the Don.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” The Don asks as he notices how Norwan looks at him.
“Nothing.” Norwan looked down and smiled. “I am just amazed to see you and to be in your place,” Norwan added, so Don chuckled.
“It is also my pleasure to see you and have a guest here,” the Don said, sitting down with his white soft coach. He signaled the two to sit in front of him, which they did.
“Please, what can I do for you?” the Don asks, looking at the two before he sips his wine.
“Where is Natalie, by the way?” he asks, which causes Norwan to stop and be stunned as he remembers the purpose of going here and meeting with the Don.
“Well, we really went here because of Don Grego,” Lynn said, so Don chuckled.
“You are way too formal, Lynn, am I right?’ The Don asks, and Lynn nods at him.
“You don’t have to be so formal to me; you’re my daughter’s friend, am I right?” Don asks once again, and Lynn nods in answer. The Don looks in Norwan’s direction and gives him a small smile.
“And you’re the Alpha, the ex-husband of my daughter who made her cry, am I right?” Don asks, and his voice suddenly changes as he says that. Norwan swallows and bravely nods to Don. A small smile forms on Don’s lips before he nods at the two.
“How may I help you?" Norwan asks, taking a deep breath to summon the courage to start the conversation with Don. He seems to lose all his power, knowing that he is speaking to the most powerful man in their town and the man who always makes him number two in their ranking for the city's most powerful and influential man.
“We came here to talk about Natalie,” Norwan said, which caused Don to look at him very seriously.
