Her father

Her father
Norwan felt the strong aura coming from Don, and he became serious after he said her name to him. A strange atmosphere also develops between them while Norwan looks and waits for the Don’s reply. Norwan’s heartbeat is so fast that he can even hear it, while Lynn, on the other hand, is nervous because of Don’s aura. He is far different from his daughter, Natalie. Lynn is thankful that Natalie grew up a sweet and happy woman, but upon looking at Don now, she remembers how Natalie’s cold aura was the same as her dad, who is now in front of her.
“So, what about her?” Grego asks while waiting for Norwan’s word. Norwan sighs and gathers all his strength, to tell the truth to the Don.
“Natalie is in a bad state,” Norwan said, which made Don stop and stare at Norwan. Lynn swallowed for Norwan. She already knew what would happen after this, and she had been expecting that since the day Chad told them about the Don.
“What do you mean?” Don Grego asks, putting down the things that he’s holding. Norwan starts to bow down in front of him, which causes him to frown even more. He is starting to get worried for her daughter.
“Where is she now?” The Don asked and stood up from his seat.
“She’s in the hospital,” Norwan said, his head still bowing down to him. The Don gave Lynn a signal to get Norwan up and leave the room, but before that, he said some words to Norwan.
“Take me where she is,” he said in a serious voice. Norwan looked at Lynn, who gave him a small smile before they left for the garden.
The Don told them that he would follow their car, so Norwan started driving. After about five minutes, they finally arrived at the hospital where Natalie was. The Don immediately got out of his car and entered the hospital without waiting for Norwan and Lynn. He headed to the nurse station and asked for his daughter’s name.
“Room 501, the doctor is currently–” The Don didn’t let the nurse complete her words as he had already gone to the elevator and saw Norwan was about to enter, so he held the elevator, and as soon as they entered, the Don pressed the button to close the door. After a few minutes of being inside the elevator, Norwan felt so much fear for Don, knowing that he didn’t explain the whole thing happening to him, which was a big mess. He is still nervous at this point.
The Don opened Natalie’s room door and frowned as soon as they saw some doctors beside her.
“What happened to her? How is her state?” The Don asked immediately and went near to the doctor. He almost fainted as soon as he saw Natalie lying on the bed, and there were a lot of machines connecting to her body.
“God, what happened to my princess?” The Don became soft as he said that. Norwan and Lynn kept quiet while they watched Don.
“Are you the father of the patient?” the doctor asks Don. Don nods at him and looks at his daughter one more time before he looks back at the doctor.
“How is she?” He asks. The doctor sighed and shook his head.
“It’s a good thing that you’re here, Mr?”
“Monteverde.” The Don answered so the doctor was shocked to realize that the most powerful Alpha in their town was standing before him and talking to him. However, he kept himself professional, especially now that his daughter was in a bad state.
“Don Grego, your daughter is in a bad state. We need the same blood of her to start another operation to remove the last bullet from her body.” The doctor said, so Don Grego swallowed and looked at his daughter.
“I have a same blood of her, please use mine.” Don said without hesitation; he even ignored what the doctor called him; he didn’t care of what they called to him as of now; what he cared about the most was to save his daughter, Natalie.
“Okay, we will collect your blood later. My nurse will assist you in getting your blood pressure before we start collecting your blood.” The doctor said, so Don Grego nodded at him and looked at his daughter before he looked back at the doctor.
“Give me a minute. I will talk to someone,” Don said, so the doctor nodded. He went to Norwan and signaled them to come out with him. As soon as they went out, Don Grego’s aura changed into darkness, and Norwan knew that this was the time he must face his anger.
“What happened to her?” Don Grego asks with a serious voice.
“She saved me from Cora.” Norwan answers, which causes Don to be mad.
“She saves you?” He asks and chuckles in disbelief. “Why would my daughter do that thing if you’re already his ex-husband?” The Don asked and grabbed Norwan’s collar in anger.
“Tell me, are you doing this to her? I fucking know what you did to my daughter back then, Norwan, and I just keep quite for that.” He said. Norwan shook his head and swallowed.
“I swear I don’t do such thing to her, Don. I went to save her from Cora and–”
“That Cora is your fiance, right?” Don Grego asked, not letting him finish his words.
“Yeah, but I—” Don Grego punched his face right after he confirmed it. The Don didn’t give him a chance to explain as he had already grabbed his collar once again.
“I fucking swear to you, Norwan. That if there’s something happened to my daughter, I will fucking start a war with your clan and I don’t fucking care about who you’re and what clan you’re alliance with.” The Don said, aggressively letting him go and fix his suit.
“I killed Cora,” Norwan said, so Don Grego looked at him with his cold aura.
“That’s good to know.” He said and turned his back to Norway. “ I swear, what I said. Don’t you fucking dare come to my daughter again, Norwan. You did nothing but a bad treatment to her; you’re a pest in her live.” He said before he entered the hospital room of Natalie again.
