Crazy Because of You

“What do you think about the crown princess selection?” Reynold asked, looking closely at Laura's face.

"I haven't made a decision yet," Laura answered.

“I feel like you are not very happy with the king's decision. Am I wrong?" Reynold asked, starting to spark a conversation.

"I don't know. I'm still in shock from all of this.” Laura lowered her face.

“If you object to that decision, I can help you,” Reynold continued. He doesn't want Laura to be owned by Stevan.

Laura then took out her cell phone. “How much is your account? I will transfer my mother's debt.”

“What do you mean, Laura?” Reynold frowned.

“Give me your account. "Let me pay my mother's debt," said Laura firmly.

Reynold then sent his account number to Laura. Laura immediately sent money to Reynold. “My mother's debt has been paid off. We should just end our engagement."

“Laura, are you kidding me? I don't want to just end our relationship." Reynold didn't accept it. His eyes turned red.

"Forgive me. See you.” Laura immediately got up and left the restaurant.

Laura has now arrived at her house. “Oh, where have you been? Reynold was looking for you. Do you already know the king's decision to choose you as crown princess?” Yola welcomed Laura's arrival.

“Ahh, I met Reynold earlier. The matter of choosing the crown princess, I already know. I'll go to bed first. I'm not feeling well," answered Laura, smiling at her mother. She stepped toward her room.

"Okay. You just rest. Do I need to make a warm drink?" Yola is worried about her daughter's condition.

"No need. Quickly rest, Mom," said Laura.

"Okay. Nice dream.” Yola went straight to her bedroom. It seemed like it wasn't the time for her to ask Laura many questions. The woman's mood still looked messy.

Laura then sat on the bed. She looked down at her cell phone. However, there is no message at all in there. “Did I hurt him too much?” she asked herself.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of an incoming message notification. Laura reached for her cell phone in her shirt pocket. “Whose number is this?” she grumbled softly as she opened the message.

“The day after tomorrow, on Sunday, can we meet? It's me, Yoana. Stefan's mother." Fill in the message.

Laura's eyes immediately bulged. “Queen Yoana? What is the reason for her to want to meet me? Gosh, I'm so nervous," asked Laurenza quietly. After taking a long time to consider, she then replied to the message.

“Yes, Queen. Where will we meet?" Laura replied.

The message notification sounds again. "Later, I'll pick you up. Please send me your home address.”

Laura sent her home address. Not long after, another message came in containing a photo of Stevan sleeping while curled up with tears remaining on the man's face. Laura felt so sad to see Stevan's condition in such a mess. However, she still stood firm on her principles.

"It looks like this is an opportunity for me to find out why I was chosen to be the crown princess. I also want to know what Stevan is hiding from me," she said quietly, then put her cellphone on the table and chose to go to the bathroom to clean her body.

This morning, the campus was shocked by the arrival of the crown prince and his royal guards. This was the first time they saw the figure of Stevan, who used to always go alone, now being escorted by armed guards. Laura, who had just arrived on campus, was certainly surprised to see Stevan's arrival. She thought that Stevan was very reckless in coming to this campus just to meet her. The man's message didn't seem like a joke this morning.

Stevan, who saw Laura's presence, immediately approached her. The royal guards were surprised to see that the crown prince had not entered the campus. The students immediately became excited when they saw Prince Stevan standing in front of Laura.

Laura and Jennifer just froze. Neither of them expected what was in front of them now. "Laura, I'm not dreaming, am I? The crown prince is in front of us," Jennifer said in a low voice.

"We're not dreaming," answered Laura lazily.

Stevan smiled faintly. "Can I walk with you to our class?"

"Our class?" Laura replied, surprised by Stevan's attitude.

“Yes, our class. I'm going to take part in college lessons today," answered Stevan casually.

"Are you crazy?" Laura whispered.

"Yes, I'm crazy because of you, Crown Princess," answered Stevan in a loud voice.

The students immediately became excited. Laura blinked her eyes, repeatedly hearing the prince's words. Especially seeing the man's gaze that looked so intensely into her eyes. "It's up to you," she replied, then lowered her face, not daring to look at Stevan's face.

Laura started to walk, and so did Stevan, while Jennifer remained silent. "Wow, amazing. I feel like I see the future king and queen. In reality, they are both future kings and queens," Jennifer said softly.

Photos of the crown prince and Laura together were spread throughout campus. Many students immortalized this historic moment, which was conveyed to Reynold, who was silent in his class, majoring in medicine. His gaze was still focused on his cellphone screen, where there was a photo of Laura and Prince Stevan facing each other and looking at each other. The atmosphere in the class was very excited, but Reynold remained silent. His heart ached when he saw the woman he was betrothed to being stared at so tenderly by another man. The memory of the moment Laura broke off their relationship yesterday came back to his mind.

"Hey! What's with your face? Are you jealous?" sneered at one of Reynold's friends.

Reynold immediately put his cellphone on the table. "None of your business!" he answered with an annoyed look.

"Oops, sorry." Reynold's friend immediately left.

"Oh shit!" Reynold cursed while rubbing his face angrily.

Break time has arrived. Laura invited her friends to go to the canteen. However, unexpectedly, the prince also offered to join them. No one dared to stop them, until, in the end, the atmosphere around them became quiet and awkward.

"Hey, why does the prince always follow us? He seems interested in you. Oh, I forgot. Of course, he is interested in you. You are his future wife," Jennifer whispered to Laura.

"Stop! Don't just say anything! It's not funny," replied Laura, looking forward to where Prince Stevan was walking first.

His sharp sense of hearing made it very easy for Prince Stevan to hear Laura and Jennifer's conversation, even though their voices were low. "Perfect, a woman who is not too crazy about wealth and status, very different from women in general. That's why I really want you, Laura," said Prince Stevan to himself as he looked at the women around him who were looking at him with admiration.

Now Laura and Stevan are sitting at the very end. Laura's friends chose to sit in different places. They didn't want to disturb Laura and Prince Stevan's togetherness. Knowing this, Laura was unable to move. She wanted to run away from the prince and approach her friends. However, she could only remain silent and surrender this time.

"Why are you silent? You don't want to order food?" Prince Stevan started the conversation.

"My stomach is suddenly full," answered Laura in a sarcastic tone.

"You don't like me being here?" Prince Stevan's gaze was so intense.

"According to you?" Laura doesn't care who she talks to now. She just wanted to be free and calm without any disturbance from the man in front of her right now. Moreover, she really didn't like being the center of attention whenever she was around that man.

Prince Stevan chuckled softly at Laura's response. He was increasingly attracted to her. "Interesting. From now on, I will follow wherever you go."

"Are you crazy?" Laura widened her eyes. She immediately bit her lower lip when she realized that her voice was loud enough to make the students in the cafeteria look at her.

Prince Stevan smiled even more. He really liked it when he saw Laura's angry face. The woman's beauty actually increased. He leaned forward. "Yes, I've said it many times. I'm crazy because of you, Laura," he said softly.
