Don't Understand Your Attitude
"What are you hiding from me? What do you mean by saying that I am not an ordinary human?” Laura asked, looking closely at Stevan's face.
“I can't explain it to you. It's not time for you to know yet," answered Stevan, lowering his face.
"This afternoon after college, take me to see the king. I want to find out the king's reasons directly.” Laura looked back at the front.
"You should already know what I mean by coming to see you this early in the morning. I'm still uneasy because Reynold is still on the same campus as you, while I'm not on campus now." Stevan's words sounded straightforward.
Laura felt her body shiver at the firmness of every word that came out of the man's lips. She still didn't move, her lips were pressed together, reluctant to open them to utter a word. “You always change the topic.”
Stevan took a deep breath and finally chose to give up first. He felt wrong because it seemed too intimidating for the woman to tell the truth about her feelings. Isn't that the same as being selfish?
"Forgive me." A rough moan came out of Stevan's mouth. "Okay. I'll take you back."
Stevan sat back in his original position, then he started the car and went towards Laura's campus. He glanced at the woman, who had now shifted her body position to face the road ahead. From the side, with a facial silhouette that never missed a face that made him flutter every time he looked at it, eyes that made him paralyzed every time he was seduced.
Not long after, Stevan's car finally arrived in front of the economics faculty building. “There is nothing wrong with your attitude so far. It is my fault. I'm trying to avoid you because I don't want either of us to get hurt more. And now, I didn't expect that I would be chosen as crown princess. However, I have not yet decided to agree with that decision. Reynold's problem, and I will end my relationship with him. Sorry for the honesty. I just tried to be honest with my heart," said Laura firmly. According to her, her current attitude was certainly better than her continuing to confuse the man.
"Have I explained enough? If there are no further questions, I will excuse myself. Break time is almost over." Laura left, leaving Stevan still silent and pensive where she was.
Laura rushed out of the car. She jogged into the economics faculty building, which was starting to get quiet because break time was about to end and many students had returned to their classes. She quickened her pace as she put her hands in her blazer pockets.
Laura continued to walk slowly towards her class, which was still far away. She felt like she wanted to cry. Crying because of deep sadness. She was still trapped by this unclear feeling, even though she had tried to avoid Stevan. She wanted to forget him, but she couldn't, no matter how hard she tried. In addition, her election as a candidate for crown princess was beyond reason. Her tears were still dripping. She quickened her steps towards class and immediately busied herself with her lectures.

In the afternoon, Stevan returned to campus. However, this time, he invited Gabrio. Stevan then tried to contact Laura. Initially, the phone was not answered. However, after trying repeatedly, the phone was finally picked up.
“Hi, where are you, Crown Princess?” Stevan still didn't want to give up after the last time the two of them argued.
Gabrio, who saw Stevan's attitude, could only shake his head. He felt amused by seeing the crown prince's attitude, which he thought was so strange.
"I am home. Why?" Laura answered.
Stefan was disappointed. However, his smile immediately brightened when he saw Laura in front of him. "Is it true that you are home?" Stevan started his car and stopped right in front of Laura.
Laura was quite surprised when she saw a luxury car stop in front of her. Before long, the car window opened. "What is he doing here?" she asked herself when she saw Stevan waving at her. She felt embarrassed seeing all the attention of the students around her focused on her.
"Why are you silent? Come down quickly!” Stevan snapped at Gabrio.
Gabrio immediately got out of the car and approached Laura. "Please, Crown Princess, get in the car."
Without thinking, Laura immediately got into Stevan's car. She doesn't want to be the center of attention for too long. She sat next to Stevan.
“Why don't you come in too?” Stevan asked, looking at Gabrio.
"Can I?" Gabrio asked back.
"Fast!" Stevan answered. Gabrio immediately got into the car and sat in the back seat. Stevan immediately drove his car, leaving the campus area.
The atmosphere in the car was very quiet. Gabrio was confused himself. "Why don't the prince and princess talk?"
“Shut up!” Stevan and Laura snapped at the same time.
"Good grief! If you fight, don't take it all on me! Drop me off here," Gabrio grumbled with an annoyed expression.
Laura then pulled Gabrio's hand hard, causing the man pain. "Accompany me here. I can't face him alone," she whispered right in Gabrio's ear.
Stevan narrowed his eyes when he saw Gabrio and Laura's closeness. "What are you talking about?" he asked angrily.
“Aakkhh….” Gabrio rubbed his face roughly. He was confused about what to do now. The position is very disadvantageous. He could see the glare from his best friend. "Okay. What's wrong with you? Don't make the people around you victims!"
Laura just kept quiet and lowered her face, while Stevan was still focused on driving and occasionally looked at the woman beside him. “Why are you acting like this to me?” Now it was Stevan's turn to ask Laura.
"I want to meet the king and reject the choice of crown princess," said Laurenza, making Stevan and Gabrio widen their eyes.
"Don't be kidding, Laura!" said Gabrio quite loudly.
Stevan's eyes were bloodshot, and his breath caught in his throat. Laura had said that hurtful thing more than once. Plus, now the woman said it in front of Gabrio. His body immediately lost its enthusiasm. He wondered to himself, did that woman really want to be separated from him?
"If you don't want to, drop me off here," said Laura. Stevan immediately stopped his car at the side of the road. Laura immediately got out of the car. Stevan just kept quiet. He didn't stop the woman from leaving.
“What is this all about?” Gabrio asked, very shocked to hear Laura's words. He also saw the look on Stevan's face, which implied that the situation between the two of them was serious.
Stevan lowered his face. He couldn't even stop his tears anymore. He cried silently. This was too painful for him. “Why does she suddenly want to separate from me? She wants to know the reason why the king chose her as crown princess, and I can't possibly tell her the truth," he said hoarsely amidst his tears.
Gabrio felt what Stevan felt. He also didn't expect Laura. "I'm sure Laura didn't actually mean it like that. Don't take it to heart. She was in a confused state now. Give her time to think."
Laurenza walked quickly to the public toilet in a restaurant. Her heart felt tight. She couldn't stay near Stevan for long. When she arrived, she immediately closed the toilet door and cried as much as she could in there. She continued to hit her chest, which was getting tighter. “Why does it hurt so much to avoid you? Why did I meet you if we were going to hurt each other like this? Why?" she screamed in her heart, tears flowing even harder.
After half an hour of crying in the toilet, Laura came out of there. She looked around. Luckily, there was no one she knew at all. She then continued her steps again.
“Laura? What are you doing here?" Reynold approached.
“Oh, Reynold. I'm going to eat. What are you doing here?" Laura looked awkward.
"Can we chat together? I want to discuss our relationship.” Reynold watched Laura's face. He felt that the woman looked like she had been crying.
