Chapter 16 The Horde Dragons
"Yes....," he whispered in his answer.
"That's not possible," Felix was stunned to hear. He never imagined that a boy he had taken care of from a very young age had fallen in love. The time when Felix started taking care of Orion, and still before that day, he believed that Orion was a tough man; there was no place of love and affection in his heart. Orion was ruthless and self-oriented, but today he flipped the tables.
"My tough boy can give someone his heart, really?" He could not believe his ears.
"It has happened, and I don't know what to do," He said, not offering Felix to look into his eyes.
" Is she beautiful?" He asked.
"She is like magic," Orion replied.
"So what's the indifference?" He asked.
"That King took her with him, to his Kingdom," Orion ground his teeth and furrowed his brow in resentment.
" How dare he?" Felix was confused he wanted to know everything from the start as his horses were not handing out.
"Hold on Felix, I do not want to tell anybody," Orion said.
"But you have," Felix smiled goofily.
" She has been abandoned, what am I going to do?" Orion was in distress, but that distress was more related to Esperanza; for an instant, he had forgotten his revenge.
" Maybe you are forgetting your purpose, why you have been alive is just for one reason," Felix said.
"But that girl, I cannot get her off my mind," Orion's struggle was real.
" She is the problem now, so should I do something?" Felix let out a word, and Orion's blood boiled; he abruptly turned and placed his sword under Felix's chin.
"How dare you? Do not even think about it, I will burn everything, all of you, every single creature." Orion's eyes were fully filled with anger, and he had no hesitation while saying all this.
"I love her more than anything in this world; she is mine." Orion's body got reddish, and his pulse was rising to the peak.
" Okay....., but now she is in that King's arms, and you know what Kings do to fragile people," Felix said.
"Not letting this happen to her," Orion said, took off his tunic, and went out.
"Who is she, a girl who has taken Orion's heart must have some potential, he never looked at those ethereal women who wanted to ravish themselves on his one command,"
"Then who let the stone beat again," Felix said.
Felix was a leader of the barbarian group of dragons that had been exiled from the dragon's kingdom.
Some were innocent but never found that innocence after getting a prospect of going back, but most were pure evil who tried to jeopardize the kingdom and were the greatest enemies of the king and their territory.
After King Wayne assassinated the whole breed of Psychic dragon Orion, who escaped, and the only one who was saved from his breed was found by those dragons, and they call themselves "The Horde Dragon's".
Felix is the feral rogue, he hates love and those who fall in love, first in life, he felt blithe after hearing about Orion, he always treated Orion as his own child, the reason he found him he was naive and vulnerable, having seen a huge disaster in his life before he could start it.
He was all alone, and there was Felix, who became the Godfather of Orion. His whole life was engulfed by the darkness, but then he saw the light, and Felix cast all the darkness, but Orion never reflects that Felix makes his life more colorless, and all he knew was his revenge.
Felix has snatched every single thrill of his life, and dashes off to his destination of fetching revenge above all else.
Again that temple, again that cold breeze touching every aspect of Esperanza.
She knew that was not real, but again, the treasure of that temple was pulling her; she entered and found herself in the chant of sacrifices. The cold wind was swirling and dancing around her body.
And her warm breath was the only demeanor she could feel.
The more she moved, the more her pounding pulse sound was becoming obvious. She was assuming shadows that were gathering and withering in the dim light, her heart felt to step back but she wanted to explore, "Explore her"
In the centre of the temple, there was a small altar, and that was heavily covered with a thick layer of snow. Suddenly, she got closer, and the snow deliquescent by the warmth she carried, the warmth she was bearing in her blood.
That irresistible blood whose power was enormous.
Suddenly, she saw a fire coming out of the altar; her eyes went wide, and her heart felt that charm.
"You need to come to me...., take what is your Esperanza," a gigantic voice came out of the altar.
"Now the time is near," that voice let out and suddenly vanished.
Esperanza stepped back, while her eyes were stick on that.
Esperanza's eyes started moving, and slowly she opened her eyes.
She found herself in a massive room and panicked.
" Where am I?" She asked herself and placed her hand over her, she woke up after three days.
This.... This room, why is there gold everywhere? Her mind was flustered by the picture of a golden dragon on the walls, and the curtains were haunting her, and letting her heart wrench.
She was looking at the painting of the golden dragon on the ceiling, she felt the influence that was surrounding her and that painting, she felt that the painting was literally walking off the ceiling, all of a sudden she exerted a tremendous scream.
She fell on the floor and closed her eyes.
Ezra ran and opened the door. He saw her sitting on the floor while covering her face with her hands.
She was whimpering and unsettled.
" Esperanza what happened to you?" He sat with her and held her side with one arm.
" That Dragon! It's coming out......," her voice was sealed with terror.
"Don't look at it, look at me," he was clutching her arms, and she was closing her eyes and cuddling him tightly.
She slightly moved her head and looked into his eyes.
"Oh .....no your eyes ........," she screamed again.
"They are glowing.......," she closes her eyes again.
"Take me home, please," she pleaded.
"I will.... I will," he caressed her hair and fetched her close to him.
"That is scaring me....., why is all this happening to me, first those dreams now youuuuuu ....," she said and got closer to him, he smiled when he heard her innocent complaint.
" Do not worry, I am not letting anything happen to you, you are safe,"
"My eyes might scare you but my soul is just gentle for you," he said.
"What would I do with your soul? I do not have any concern with it." She started crying, and that tore Ezra's heart.
"Okay....., be patient, listen to me, do not open your eyes," he said, and she was pushing her head on his chest.
"Nothing is going to hurt you, trust me," he said, and her whimper slowed down.
"I am here with you." He was caressing her shoulder, and she was covering her face with his chest.
"Everything is fine now," he let out and she nodded.
"Open your eyes slowly," he said, and she did.
The room was normal, and the atmosphere was not inflicting her.
" It's fine now," she said while looking up, and suddenly found herself wrapped in his arms.
"Get off me.....," she wiggled and got off from him.
" How dare you?" Her eyes were fuming and Ezra captured every instinct of her anger.
" You were the one....," he turned the situation to her.
She gasped and took a deep breath, then looked into his eyes again and suddenly found that golden light again.
"Waaaa....., your.... Eyes are glowing ....again....," she started crying but this time Ezra laughed.
"What are you doing?" She was making him fall more for her.
" You are laughing......?" She gasped and sniffed.
" Okay, please stop now," he said and tried to control his laugh.
"You said something about your dreams?" He asked and she gulped her nervousness.
