Chapter 15 Love is a Lethal thing
"The only thing I care about right now is her well-being," Ezra said, and they arrived at their kingdom.
Ezra has brought a human into the Drakon world, where the dragon kingdom of Drakon prohibits any human from touching the soil of this sacred place.
Ezra was unaware of what kind of backlash he was going to face. They went inside the castle, but an immense crowd assembled outside the castle to criticize Ezra.
" How could he do that?" Wayne was fuming he called Raymond and was furiously blaming and asking him questions.
"My Lord, I tried to stop him, but he did not hear me," Raymond said.
"Doesn't he know the consequences?" Wayne's eyes were compassing the animosity.
"My Lord, he is just being childish, but this time I think that it is necessary, that girl is not ordinary," Raymond said, and Wayne frowned.
"What do you mean?" Wayne pulled his brow before asking.
"I mean, if there was nothing special about that human girl, I would never let King Ezra bring her here," Raymond was making things inquisitive.
"She has something in her, she has seen that ancient golden light in King Ezra's eyes," Raymond said, and Wayne's jaw dropped.
"What? This is not possible," Wayne was shocked and suddenly his body started trembling.
"Yes, my Lord, she fainted because she saw that golden light in his eyes." Raymond cleared him.
"She is a dragon then," Wayne said.
"As far as I am concerned, I do not know. Anything about that, but she is connected to dragons, maybe she has the trace of light in her," Raymond said.
"If we lost her, we would never find her again. This is important to find her truth, my Lord, " Raymond. Elaborate on that.
" She can make our kingdom as powerful as we want," Wayne let out with a gasp.
"My Lord, you need to calm that crowd," Raymond bowed to him, and Wayne got out on the balcony.
"Listen, crowd, calm down......," Wayne let out, and they all got calm.
"Your Majesty, we are gathered here to enforce the timeless rules of our kingdom." A person from the crowd decoded.
"We cannot take account of humans here," He said and Wayne nodded.
"Humans are not allowed to come into our territory and we will all stand by that," another man said.
"But who said she is a human?" Wayne makes everyone startled.
"She is a dragon like us, our king has found her and gotten her to where she belongs, she has grown up there but she belongs here,"
"Our great king came to know that and brought her back to where she belongs," Wayne makes everyone acknowledge.
"What? How could those humans do this?" A man let out in atrocious rage.
" We will kill them," another man screamed.
"Dead for them all......," the crowd started chanting.
"Stopppp.....!" The king bawled to calm that arduous situation.
" No one is going to decide this; what should be done will only take place as our king suggests," Wayne said and left.
"My Lord we do not know what she is," Raymond said.
" Only this can make them calm, nothing else," Wayne said and Raymond nodded.
Esperanza was lying on a luxurious bed; the room was stupendous. The walls were enormous, the whole room was painted white, but the walls that connected to the rooftop were golden.
It has huge windows that were covered with golden ornamented curtains. On the ceiling, there were huge chandeliers hanging and radiating their light all over the room.
That room was the greatest example of their luxury. It was explicit that they are prosperous and enrooted.
She was covered with a golden blanket, and Ezra was gazing at her exquisite beauty with adoration.
The physician was examining her and found nothing that could be treated with herbs.
"I do not find anything that can cause that, He said.
The physician was an aged man with rounded features and short stature.
"This is a drink that can counteract the effects of some tranquilizers." He handed it to Ezra, and a troop showed him the door.
He sits close to her and caresses her forehead.
Raymond took permission and walked in.
" My King, what can I do for her? That physician was not able to find anything," Raymond said.
"Why did Father lie to those people?" He asked the striking question.
"My King, people are getting agitated, we have never allowed a human entry in this Kingdom," Raymond justifies.
"For the reason he wanted to save her life, he lied," Raymond said.
"If something happens to her I will burn them all," Ezra said with an outrageous gasp.
" But my King, they are your people," Raymond contradicts.
" I do not know what happened. But if something touched her I swear I would not let anyone live, she is most precious to me," Ezra said, his anger was getting formidable to fade.
Orion was moving his sword intrusively, the arena was shadowed and doomed.
The ceiling was valuated into the dark shadow, and the sheer scales were bearing from the top and coming down and were connecting to the dark walls of a gigantic arena, the stoned walls were all marked with time, sunlight was illuminating the scene while emanating from the corners of that arena.
The pillars were firm like his hooligan revenge, the room bid a slant of mystery, which gives the speculation of what was forbidden in this room for centuries. The atmosphere was dense and agitated as Orion's sentinels burst into the air.
He was pulling that hefty sword without letting his body get stuck. He was powerful as an enfeebled eminence, who got ruthless with every passing year.
His tunic was drenched in sweat, he took off his tunic, and his body was aggressively marked with reminiscence of grief and dismay.
Every scare was obvious of his ceaseless revenge.
"You seem a bit troubled," a man with a rough and tough let out and Orion stopped.
That man was tall and muscular, and one of his eyes had a burn scar, as his eyes were absolute danger.
There were many marks on his body as well, as a storm of cutlass and edges had mangled his whole being for years.
His nose was high, his eyes brown, he had a long and lifted face, and his lips were plumped and full.
Is something bothering you? He asked.
"Felix....., you here?" Orion glanced at him and then rolled his eyes.
" I thought you left," Orion said.
"Do not turn the talk, tell me," he said and he gasped.
"Why did you kill that human girl that Thea wants?" Orion asked, and his lips got wide in a smirk.
"Because I want her too," he smirked and Orion gasped in resentment.
"Tell me the truth," he was bothered.
" He fell in love with her, and Love is a Lethal thing; whoever falls in love gets weak, and I do not want any weakness in my boys," Felix said.
"That's the thing," Orion gasped.
" Have you fallen in love?" Felix asked. His voice was heavy and powerful, imbuing a strong kind of charisma.
