Chapter 128 Fallout
"This whole time, we were here working tirelessly to pay the debt, only for you to seduce The Don and give birth to this...!", Gia drawled, pointing at Sophia.
Red would be an understatement of what she saw!
Isabella was Livid, however, she stayed seated, feeding her daughter.
"We all worked, awaiting your return!
I guess you survived on your own!
What makes you think he would love her?
What makes you think the sick plan in your head would work?!", Gia asked, taunting Isabella.
Like what Gia said wasn't enough, Bianca just had to butt in.
"You know I came inside your room earlier, to see what you had done!
And you had the audacity to cradle this baby!
He caused us pain Isabella!!!
For months...!", Bianca drawled as Isabella took a metal spoon and hit it on her half eaten plate.
That was enough to grab the attention of everyone in the room.
Michela and Sofia didn't know what to say as they looked between both parties.
As if sheltering her younger sister from the argument, Michela and Sofia slipped out of the dining room and up the stairs, where they waited out the commotion.
"That's enough girls!
We should be eating!!", Mr Morales said, trying to keep the peace, however, that didn't mean he wasn't curious in his own right.
That seemed to work for a bit, as the dining room became tense.
However, actually reflecting on what they said, the anger in Isabella's heart refused to be dispelled.
"No!
You all want to know so bad!
I'll tell you!", Isabella said as she pushed her plate, she had lost her appetite and was already full.
"I was in my nook, reading peacefully when I heard vibrations that day!
Only to come out and be told I had to go with The Italian Mafia Don...!", Isabella started, however, her older sisters thought she was making excuses.
"You could have said no!", Bianca said.
Of course, she hadn't been there when they appeared in their house wanting their debt fully paid.
"Oh!
Ask mother here why I couldn't say no!
How guns were used in threatening me if I tried to escape!", Isabella said as she turned to her mother.
It wasn't an exactly calming memory to remember.
Regardless, Mrs Morales tried to keep the peace.
"I ran for three years and this...
This is what awaited me the whole time!", Isabella said out of realization.
She continued; "Do you think it was easy?
Like a banquet that I was served?
Do you have any idea what I went through?!", She asked rhetorically.
Of course they had no idea, they weren't used as a guarantee for a debt she knew nothing about.
They weren't made to sit by a dead man and question their existence.
Their clothes weren't torn at such an odd hour in the night.
"Don't make us feel guilty!
You obviously followed him willingly!", Gia rebutted mindlessly.
"Oh!
You mean where I was taken for the debt FATHER took out!
Where I was mentally tortured...!", Isabella drawled as she saw their faces.
It seemed they had just remembered what happened.
Mr Morales paled as he was reminded of the decision that broke his family.
"Seems like the time in the sun made you forget!", Isabella said as she sat to give Sophia water.
Then, she stood again, grabbing her phone before she turned and walked towards the main entrance.
The dining room remained quiet as each person realized the strife that argument had caused their family.
"Leave and don't come back!", She heard Bianca say from the distance, this, she replied with equal fervor.
"I won't be!"
She reflected on how her parents had watched.
The tears that had been brimming from recalling the memories finally gave way.
She sobbed, her child in her arms as she remembered how her parents hadn't defended her.
They had simply watched, just like the night Luciano had taken her.
All they did was watch!
Noticing Isabella by the stairs crying, Luciano's men approached her, wondering why she was crying at such an hour.
You honestly wouldn't expect someone would cry when they went to visit their parents.
Not when you noticed the jolly atmosphere earlier on in the day.
"Let's head back!", Isabella said, her tone croaky.
She didn't want to be there anymore, not after all the things they thought and said to her.
"You lot can go back!
We'll be back soon!", Isabella simply said as Sophia wiggled in her arms.
Thus, both vehicles drove out of the Morales compound, but only one van drove back to Milan.

Her family wasn't there when she was pregnant, or with her when she gave birth.
They didn't know how she had fallen in love with her daughter all over again.
They weren't there when she made the decision to love her daughter, not because she was a splitting image of Luciano, but because Sofia was also a part of her.
She could let people talk down at her, but not her daughter.
She had even severed ties with her older sisters just because they did.
Isabella seethed in the back seat, wondering why they even had that notion of her in the first place.
If anybody knew what she could and couldn't do, it should have been them.
"What's your name!?!", Isabella finally asked the driver as they drove in the opposite direction.
She had been thinking for far too long and wanted to get her mind off of her parents and her other siblings.
"Guiseppe ma'am!", The driver answered.
Isabella cocked her head at the ma'am part before she remembered his face was new.
He probably would have been a new recruit.
The men that worked with Luciano didn't address her as ma'am.
They had seen her work as a maid.
They only paid respect to her because Luciano ordered it.
Nobody wanted to lose their heads afterall.
"Reminds me of my grandfather!", Isabella said.
"Thank you ma'am!", Guiseppe replied.
It was even an honor The Don's lady was talking to him in the first place.
"Do you know if there's a hotel nearby?!", Isabella asked.
"There should be!", Guiseppe answered as he deemed it safe not to ask questions.
"Very well!
Stop there!
That's where we would be sleeping tonight!", Isabella said in finality.
Guiseppe did wonder why Isabella didn't want to go back to the mansion, but he wants going to voice his concers.
Isabella needed that space, especially with her family, and the lies Luciano had told her.
She simply needed time for herself.

One party tailed Isabella's van, wondering why she wasn't heading back to Luciano.
Another drove towards Isabella's parents house, the extra security The Don had ordered.
The last was about to be worried sick with news he was about to get.
