Chapter 127 Suspicion
"Isabella!", she squealed as she practically ran towards her sister.
One would think they liked to run in their family, but that wasn't the case.
It was simply joy and excitement from uniting with a family member.
However, in this case, said joy and excitement washed as they saw Isabella holding on to a baby that looked very familiar.
"Isabella!", Sofia, Isabella's youngest sister called out regardless as she hugged her.
"My! You've gotten so tall!", Isabella complimented as she put her one free hand on Sofia's shoulders.
"Yes sister!
It has really been so long we've seen each other...,!", Sofia drawled as she dragged Isabella to whisper in her ear.
"I missed you the most!", Sofia said as she giggled.
"I missed you even more!", Isabella replied in the same fervor.
"Alright girls! Let's go inside!", Mr Morales said.
"What about the men...?!", Mrs Morales asked, pointing towards the men who stood by the van.
"They're on security duties!", Isabella answered, exactly as Andreas had told her earlier.
Mr and Mrs Morales simply shared a look as a result of Isabella's reply.
'That was new!', Mrs Morales thought as they all headed inside.
"Where's Bianca and Gia?!", Isabella asked, wondering if her elder sisters were at home.
"They quickly went to pick up something at their houses...
You know, after sometime, we started looking for you!", Mrs Morales answered.
Adding details her husband wouldn't have wanted.
"That's enough!
You should get some rest Isabella!", Mr Morales said, an attempt to dispell the inevitable conversation.
"Why?
Why would you want to look for me?!", Isabella asked.
The story Luciano had told her was rather different, she was starting to wonder if he had been lying to her.
"We had paid the debt a long time ago, and he hadn't given you back.
So we hired a private investigator, but...!", Mrs Morales being cut off as the doors opened.
"Isabella?!", Michela, Isabella's immediate younger sister called out upon seeing her elder sister.
"Michela!", Isabella called out.
And, as you might have predicted, more running and hugging and 'I miss you's'
"You should go up to rest a bit!
One of your sisters would come by your room when the food is ready!", Mr Morales said in finality, an attempt to dispell the conversation.
"Yes father!", Isabella said in the usual tone she had adopted until nearly three years before.
It really had been such a long time.
Isabella went up to her room, braving herself for a massive change.
However, from the looks of things, it seemed like one of her younger sister had moved in.
A sleepy Sophia clung to her neck, unsurprised by the new environment.
She could tell that her daughter was drained and needed a nap.
Instead, Isabella carried her upright, making her see the room where she grew up.
"This is where I grew up my love.
This used to be my room!", Isabella said.
She carried her daughter properly, so she'll sleep on her shoulder while she would explore the remaining parts of the room.
She walked towards the window feeling quite nostalgic.
Isabella traced her hand on the window sill.
The last time she was by the window, two guns were pointed towards her, threatening her not to think about escaping.
She met Luciano that night, unaware of how everything would turn out.
She turned towards Sophia, having no idea at the time she would birth a baby for the man.
She smiled wryly as she looked back into the room, the backpack she had packed in an attempt to escape hung behind the door neatly.
It was starting to get dark, but, Isabella wondered what was going on with her family.
She hadn't really expected the cold reception.
Like her father had advised, she decided to take a nap, alongside her daughter as they awaited the presence of her other sisters.
She really looked forward to seeing them.
As she napped, she was unaware of the message Andreas had sent, notifying her of Luciano's intentions.
Afterall, The Don had ordered he should be there to provide extra security.

"Isabella!", Bianca called out.
Isabella's eldest sister could not believe what was going on.
Upon her arrival with her younger sister Gia, they had seen two vans. When their father had told them Isabella was back and she had brought a baby with her.
Two and two weren't hard to put together, the ladies hastily stringed that Isabella had seduced Luciano.
In spite of the suspicion, Bianca needed to see for herself how Trashy she thought her sister had become.
"Bianca?!", Isabella called out with hooded eyes as she heard a familiar voice.
"We're having late lunch now, aren't you hungry!", Bianca asked with a scowl evident.
"I am!
It's been such a long time...!", Isabella draled and the door was slammed shut.
There wasn't any hugging and running.
The intensity in which she slammed the door with woke Sophia up.
Thus, Isabella pet her baby till she was calm again.
It was only a matter of time before Sophia got fussy, thus, she was going to need to go downstairs to get fed.
However, Bianca's reaction was really unsettling.
Isabella climbed down the stairs and approached the dining table.
She smiled as she saw the familiar scenery and the aroma of her mother's food.
She honestly missed home.
However, as they saw her, the heads in the room turned to her. It looked like her presence had dampened the mood.
A smile appeared on her face as she held Sophia closer out of instinct.
She approached the table and sat down, where her mother put food on her plate.
She didn't know what to make of their reactions.
They ate in silence for a whole before Gia, Isabella's immediate elder sister spoke.
She wasn't known for keeping her opinions to herself afterall.
"This whole time, we were here working tirelessly to pay the debt, only for you to seduce The Don and give birth to this...!", Gia drawled, pointing at Sophia.
Isabella saw red!
She was not going to let anybody say anything rude about her or her Innocent daughter.
