Chapter 110 Discoveries
Luciano had given him an order, an order that was accompanied with a lot of money, Tomasso knew more than to cross The Don.
Thus, he was going to do as he said.
The lady he was paid to keep an eye on was a very simple lady in fact.
He had confirmed her Identity that very morning, thus, he only knew minute details about her.
That changed as he followed her around six in the evening.
She walked out with a couple of her colleagues. He could tell from the Tee shirts they wore.
From the looks of it, they probably did something with olive oil.
A stable job, Tomasso thought as he watched her.
She soon entered a cab, where he fired up his engine and followed discreetly.
The cab headed to a daycare.
A daycare?
Does she have a baby?, Tomasso asked himself, wondering what was wrong with the information The Don had provided.
As soon as he got the opportunity, he stared at the baby really well, given the distance his car was parked.
He didn't hesitate to take pictures as well.
The case was getting even more confusing as Luciano hadn't said she had a baby in her custody.
One that looked like him at least.
Maybe it's a side job!, Tomasso thought as he saw her carry the baby out of the day care and into the cab.
He continued to tail the cab, seeing them enter a restaurant he had seen her visit multiple times on camera.
During the long wait, Tomasso got something for himself in the restaurant to keep an eye on the lady.
He saw the lady, Isabella who went under a different name talking to another lady.
A face he saw a lot from the cameras he tapped.
He had to confirm the details before he reported it in the file.
Disguising as a customer who had just gotten an order, he approached Isabella, lucky enough to reach her as her napkin fell.
He grabbed the napkin and dusted it, getting Isabella's attention.
"Your baby has such beautiful eyes!", Tomasso said, trying not to sound as gruff as he usually would as he passed the napkin to Isabella
"Thank you!", Isabella said.
"Beautiful night!", Tomasso said as he left.
"You too!", He heard the lady say on his way out.
In such a simple step, he had confirmed it was her baby.
He tailed them up until they arrived at Isabella's apartment.
There, he parked outside for a few more hours before he compiled a file and sent it to Luciano.

In a way, Luciano had expected a file from Tomasso the minute he called to alert him of the good news.
Quietly walking out of the hall his men were celebrating a victory, Luciano headed to his office, eager to read the file.
Seeing The Don leave, Andreas wasted no time in following after him.
"Don!", he called out, closing the door behind him as he tried to catch up with Luciano's long strides.
"Come with me!", Luciano simply said as he approached his office.
In his office, Luciano sat on his couch as he read through the file.
"She has a baby!?!", Luciano said, more of a question than a realization.
"Who has a baby?!", Andreas asked, confused.
Afterall, he had something to attend to while Luciano took the call.
"Isabella!", Luciano simply said as he stood up and approached his desk.
"What? What do you mean Isabella?
She's been missing for about three years now sir!", Andreas said, stating what he knew.
"Yes she was!
I sent out Tomasso to look for her a year ago!
He brought positive results...!", Luciano drawled as he looked up from the bag he was packing.
"...She has a baby!", Luciano said, as he took his phone out from his pocket.
He unlocked his phone and placed it by the far edge of his table for Andreas to see the image.
Displayed on the screen was an image of Isabella who looked slightly older, holding a baby and walking into an apartment.
"She looks like...!", Andreas drawled, referring to the baby.
"Like me!", Luciano completed.
"Could it be?!" Andreas asked, finally getting on the same page as Luciano.
Luciano had no answer for him as he put on his suit jacket.
"The resemblance...!", Andreas drawled.
Luciano grabbed his phone and slid it into his pocket before heading out of his office.
"Wait...
Where are you going?!", Andreas asked, hot on Luciano's tail as he walked briskly.
From the look of it, Luciano was heading towards the ground floor.
Was he thinking of actually going there?!, Andreas thought.
"Pack things up here.
I'll be at the mansion
We leave for Umbria in two to three hours.
Don't forget to call the jet!", Luciano said, giving orders as he waited for the elevator.
Andreas didn't need more details to connect two and two.
Tomasso had located Isabella and Luciano was flying over to where she was, probably for a confrontation.
The brooding has finally come to an end!, Andreas thought as he turned to do as he was told.

"Is it true?!", Mrs Morales asked the foreign man who sat in their living room.
"Why do you have to ask if he's telling the truth?
I'm paying him for the exact reason!", Mr Morales answered his wife.
They had completely paid the debt they owed to The Mafia Don, and when it was time to present their daughter, The Mafia Don said he wouldn't be releasing her.
The man in their living room was to carry out a secret investigation as they suspected something awful had happened to their daughter.
"You're one to correct me!", Mrs Morales interjected.
"You don't have to worry ma'am!
I was paid handsomely!
Thus I'll do my job well!"
"What do you think could have happened to her?", Mr Morales questioned, his guilty conscience starting to eat him up.
"We can't say for sure, but The Don is a pretty cruel man when he wants to be. The worst thing he could have done is to have her killed...!"
These sentences made Mrs Morales take a deep breath.
To calm her heart, the investigator said, "let's hope not!".
