Chapter 111 Good news
The urgency Luciano walked in with confused the ladies at the mansion, even if one of them had ulterior motives.
"Don?!",
"What's going on sir?!" Madam Paula called out as she hurriedly stood up and tried to follow after Luciano.
Mia on the other hand rushed to one of the windows, wondering what could have possibly happened.
She was rather surprised to see one van, and from the looks of things, Luciano had driven himself to the mansion from his office.
"What's going on?!", Madam Paula asked as she rushed down the stairs.
She didn't hesitate to look through the Window Mia had been looking at out of curiosity.
"Where's Andreas?!", Madam Paula asked again, unable to wrap her head around the rush.
"Get me my phone?!", she ordered to Mia as she paced from the window to the bottom of the staircase.
"Here you go ma'am!", Mia said as she handed Madam Paula her phone.
"What's going on ma'am!?!", Mia asked, quite intent on some gossip.
"We're about to find out...!", Madam Paula drawled as she dialed Andreas number.
She didn't seem to get an answer as the handler kept saying his line was busy.
He was in fact busy as he was trying to get things in order, Luciano had left a few orders.
"... Or not!", Madam Paula completed as Andreas didn't pick the call.
"Probably he had a bad day!", Mia suggested, remembering how Luciano had shut the door so loudly.
"That's an option!" Madam Paula said as she finally stopped her pacing.
"You stay here! I'll go and ask him if he wants dinner!", Madam Paula said to Mia as she dropped her phone on the closest table and headed to the staircase.
Dropping her phone, Mia thought she had finally seen her chance to snoop through Madam Paula's phone, in hopes to find anything useful.
"There'll be no need!", the deep voice said from the top of the stairs.
Luciano had dropped his suitcase and was now carrying a small sized traveling bag.
He wasn't even changed and he still looked like he was in a rush.
"What's going on sir!?", Madam Paula asked, obviously still confused as she tried to catch up with Luciano's long legs.
She looked at the bag on Luciano's right hand wondering where he was going.
"I'll be out of the city for a while...!", Luciano drawled as he left the door open.
He was aware Madam Paula was right behind him.
She watched as Luciano opened the backseat and dropped the bag.
He rounded the car, entering the front seat and igniting the engine.
Putting his phone to his chest to muffle what he was about to say, he said to Madam Paula, "Andreas will be here in a while!
He'll tell you all you need to know!"
If she wasn't confused before, she was definitely sure she was confused as of the moment.
"All I need to know!", Madam Paula repeated as Luciano drove out of the driveway.
Mia sneered as Luciano drove out of the mansion.
Such a good time to plan something! He just had to be in a hurry.
It isn't too late after all, I just need that old hag to tell me what he'll be doing and where he'll be going!
She quickly changed her facial expression as she saw Madam Paula walk through the front door.
"Is there an emergency?!", Mia asked for ulterior purposes.
"I don't know yet.
We'll get our answer once Andreas is back.
~~
Roughly two hours following Luciano's departure, Andreas drove in, two other vans following behind him.
"Whatever's going on is even more serious than we imagined", Madam Paula stated to Mia from her observations.
Luciano and Andreas hardly got back to the mansion in different vehicles and at different times of the day.
"Very strange!", Mia added as they wat he's the vehicles come to a halt.
Seeing this, the ladies wasted no time in heading back to the living room, very ready to bombard Andreas with questions.
"The plane will be here... No need to pack much! ...Inside to eat something...! ". Andreas' voice really couldn't be placed by the ladies as he kept moving farther.
"Eat something...!", Madam Paula realized before she started tapping Mia.
"...Go!
Start dishing out the men's food!"
Madam Paula opened the door as she heard the men approaching the door.
"Welcome!", she simply said as she waited for all eight of them to walk in.
"Good evening ma'am!", they all chorused as they approached the dining area.
Albeit their chosen professions, Luciano's men had a shred of courtesy and respect, thus, they would never disrespect the ladies of the mansion in any way.
"Andreas!", Madam Paula called as she watched the figure who took a look at the van's tires.
"Good evening ma'am!", Andreas said as he rounded the car.
"What's going on?!", she asked, taking in his appearance.
The rolled sleeves and the tiredness in his eyes proved Madam Paula right.
The men had been working on something.
"Well!
It's good news so you don't need to breath so harshly!", Andreas said, an attempt to calm the woman.
Knowing The Don, Andreas suspected the woman was close to having a heart attack.
"I'm not!
I'm just curious and worried!", Madam Paula said defensively.
"Alright! Alright!
Calm down!
You don't need to be so worried!", Andreas said.
"Quit it already! Just tell me what happened!", Madam Paula urged.
"I think you'll be very happy after I tell you!", Andreas said, intentionally annoying the woman.
"If you don't tell me what's going on!
I swear to God I'll be at you with this!", Madam Paula said, bending to pick her sandals.
"Okay fine!", Andrea said.
"Get on with it then! God! Andreas!", Madam Paula shouted, attracting Mia's curious gaze from the window.
"You know how it took us a year and we still didn't get anything...!" Andreas drawled.
"What took us a year ?!", Madam Paula asked.
"Fine! I'll just get on with it!", Andreas said.
"Come on Andreas! You really have to stop! I'm getting cold!", Madam Paula reminded.
"Okay fine! I'll get on with it...!"
He moved closer, taking a deep breath before he shared the news.
"We found Isabella!"
