CHAPTER 26: - CONFESSION
Yash stops the car in front of the Kapoor’s mansion. Kaviya glanced at the mansion at her left and she wrinkled and with a baffled expression she looked at her right at Yash, “This is the safest place; you will be safe here. Even if father knows he can’t do anything.”
Before Kaviya gets down from the car, he handed her a brown envelope and told her to give it to Aarav. Kaviya entered into the mansion gate turned around and saw the car going away from her sights. She walked further and now she is standing in front of the main door, she is feeling nervous her hands are getting cold, she closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath and gathered the courage to face Aarav and Darsh after what her father did to them. She rang the doorbell a servant opened the door. The Seghal family were also staying with the Kapoor family. Aarav knew that Viraj could kill David, because David is the only person who witnessed the whole incident and they didn’t have any hard copy of evidence either. They couldn’t afford to risk his life so Jairaj and Bhavika convinced the Seghal family to live with them.
Bhavika, Ragni, and Maya were all busy in kitchen preparing the dinner while all the men were seated in a living room waiting for the lawyer for the case and David’s testimony which will be presented tomorrow in court.
“Did the lawyer come?” Bhavika asked the maid who went to open the door.
“No, madam it’s a girl she mentioned her name as Kaviya Malhotra.” The maid answered.
All three women share a look with each other and walked out from the kitchen. Kaviya told them the whole thing which she had heard from their father’s mouth. Kaviya stretched her right hand holding a brown envelope which Yash gave it to her to Aarav. “Brother Yash wanted me to give this to you. And he said that he is on your side, and will help you to get revenge. As we both also wished our father to get punished for killing our mother. He also wanted to give you the company which belonged to you and Darsh.” Kaviya looked down as she said this and tear fell from her cheeks remembering her mother. Maya consoled her. Everyone was shocked at what they heard from Kaviya. Ragni was bewildered she never thought that her brother Viraj will cross every limit of cruelty and humanity. Who not only murdered her elder brother and sister-in-law but also his wife, just to gain all the power and property.
Darsh: - I never thought that this day will also come when Yash will be on our side helping us.
Ragni: - I am happy that Yash is not like his father when it comes to family, he is cruel arrogant but he is a person who values family just like his mother.
Jairaj: - Kaviya you can stay here as much as you want, you are like a daughter to me.
Kaviya and Darsh eyes met, both eyes held same kind of emotions, and it’s love towards each other.
Maya: - Kaviya, you can stay in my room it will be fun sharing a room together like old days.
Aarav just smiled at Kaviya he thought that Yash was not that cruel and heartless person after all. Yes, Yash is a person who can’t be trusted but if he was ready to give up on the company then Aarav was also ready to forgive him. Whatever Yash had done with him in the past are gone. And try to build their relation like a brother. After having dinner, the lawyer arrived and they discussed about the case. Aarav had opened an envelope it contained all the evidence inside it there was a photo of their parent’s dead body, love letter for Rashmi (Aarav and Darsh mother) which Viraj had written, plan to murder them written on a piece of paper. With the help of this evidence and David’s testimony no lawyer would be able to save Viraj.
Darsh came out from the mansion for fresh air and saw Kaviya standing near a swimming pool looking up at the sky. Darsh was battling with himself between his mind and heart, his heart telling him to confess his feelings for her or else it will be too late, but mind stops Darsh from doing so as it was not the right time to propose. But Darsh listened to his heart and moved closer to her he stood beside her.
“The moon is shining brightly in the night sky, just like you shine my life with your presence.”
Darsh spoke without looking at her. Kaviya baffled and looked at him. Darsh slanted his eyes and faced her he continued.
“I know that it’s not the right time but I am afraid to lose you. I need you in my life, from the day you came into my life I feel content. I want to have you with me forever I Love You Kaviya.”
Kaviya lost her senses for a minute when she got her senses she jumped in excitement “I Love You Too Darsh.” And throw herself in his arms. Both are happy to get each other.
Yash was in an abandon warehouse ordering his men to whom Yash trusted. He wanted to make sure after the judgement his father would not be able leave the country as Yash knew that for freedom his father goes way too far and kill anyone who would come in between.
