CHAPTER 25: - DECISION

“What do you mean that mother knew? Did she know about all this.” Yash asked not knowing what he was feeling. Because he knew that their mother would never support in wrong things and family means everything to her.

“One day she had accidentally opened my hidden locker and from there she came to know this, so she wanted to leave me and live a happy life with you and kaviya. So, she paid the price for knowing this, she wanted freedom so I gave her, I strangled her to death with my bare hands.”

Kaviya who was standing near a door and was eavesdropping to their conversation, her father confession of his evil acts she started shivering and unconsciously left the tray she was holding as the tray touches the ground all the glass pieces of it got scattered on the floor leaving a loud noise. Both men looked in the direction of noise and saw Kaviya’s tearful face. She ran from that place. Yash seeing her sister in this state his heart ache. He saw his father’s face which was calm and not a single drop of tear, also neither a guilt nor regret of his actions. For the first time in his life, he was feeling ashamed for being his son. He always used to be so proud to be his child, but now the circumstances changed, his mother whom he used to love so much was killed by his own father. Rage, anger, he felt like killing his father on the spot, but he controlled himself. He wanted to know his father further plans on how he will safe himself from court. But if the court doesn’t punish him, Yash will do it. Yash now wanted to take revenge of his mother by giving the same pain to his father in return.

“So, what you will do now father?” Yash asked in an unreadable expression on his face, in a calm tone.

Viraj removed a cigarette pack from his pocket, took one out of it, lighted it and started smoking. after releasing a long puff of smoke, he answered, “This time I will use my daughter, I will let her marry your mafia friend Karan and he will help me with this.” saying this Viraj stood up to leave.

“Where are you going, I have called Suraj here to update about the status of the company.” Yash interrupted.

Viraj waved his hand and said, “That’s not my work to do, it’s your son. Bring back the company to its original position like before, and I am going to the grave of my love, my Rashmi.” And smiled appeared on Viraj’s face on remembering his love and walked out.

Yash was burning in anger he kicked all the chairs nearby.

Suraj arrived, and informed Yash that all the big projects and important clients had refused to work and collaborate with them. They chose Evolution contracts over their company. Right now, Yash doesn’t care about the company’s status as, he thought that all this doesn’t belong to him anymore and from the very beginning it was not his at all. Everything belonged to Aarav and Darsh. Yash’s mother Manvi used to always tell him the importance of family and moral values which he followed and respected it. After knowing the truth of Aarav his cold heart turned into softer, he can’t go against his own brother as his mother always used to say that.

“Never stand against our family members be with them always United. Money and property can be achieved again but the family is a onetime asset once you lose it you can never have it again.” So, following his mother’s principles he will go against his father. He will help Aarav and Darsh to get his father punished. But now his first priority was his sister he wanted to save her from Karan. He walked upwards from stairs and reach Kaviya’s room, he knocked the door and then entered in, he saw she was lying on her stomach in bed holding a pillow with both her hands and buried her face inside a pillow and crying like a little baby, her eyes were swelling and she was sobbing like a child. Yash locked the door and sat beside her and let her to wake up. He wiped her tears with his hands and she sat up straight and hugged him tightly buried her face on his chest. He was rubbing his hand on her head in order to console and to calm her. After she calmed, she broke the hug and asked.

“Why dad has committed all these evil acts? Just to have lots of money and fame? Why can’t we live a life full of happiness and as a sweet little family. Why brother why, answer me!! I always wanted to have a loving family and nothing else, my wishes got in vain, how our father can be so selfish, how can he kill his own wife for this stupid reason.”

Kaviya spoke in a low whisper voice she was disclosing her brother whatever was going inside her mind and heart. She was crying her heart out and Yash was trying to control her emotions. On listening her, his tears started flowing down his cheeks.

Yash holds her shoulder and said, “Kaviya my little sister, I have made a decision. I want our mother to get justice and she will get it when our father gets punished. Our mother told us the value of family and therefore I will help Aarav and Darsh in this.”

Kaviya nodded in agreement. “But now first I want to save you, Dad wants you to marry with Karan in order to safe himself. I can’t hide you in any of my apartments, he will reach you anyway, so there is only one place where you will feel safe, get up pack your bags and come along with me I will take you there.”
