CHAPTER 19: MURDER ALLEGATION
Aarav and Maya were standing in front of the door, Maya rang the doorbell while Aarav was looking at the surrounding few seconds later the woman open the door and greeted them inside. They both were seated on a couch in a living room opposite to the woman, she was fidgeting with her fingers looking down not having the courage to face them, she was ashamed for her actions which she had done. On breaking the silence, the women spoke,
“I am sorry, what I have done with you both, specially you Aarav. And I regret it. At that time, I was in need of money for my mother’s cancer treatment and Yash paid me for this, at that time I didn’t have any other option but to do as he says, I was helpless. I know my sorry won’t be enough for you to get back your reputation, the pain which was caused by me, the time which you both could have to spent together but can’t.”
Tears roll down her cheeks, she wiped her tears while sniffing she removes a pen drive from her jeans pocket and placed it on the table and continues to speak, “I want to give this pen drive to you it contains all the call recordings which I had with Yash and some images. Aarav, you can use it to take your revenge from him.”
Maya and Aarav both shared a look with each other and then Maya asked, “Why are you helping us by giving this pen drive since all you want is money, you were asking for money with Yash at his company, how can we believe that this pen drive contains real evidence.”
“I didn’t come here to take money from Yash, I regret my actions and I don’t know you both personally so I had to contact Yash and ask for money, also I saw you, Maya when I was talking to Yash in his cabin, I intentionally didn’t close the door so that you can hear all the truth from Yash’s mouth. And I got your number from your NGO website. The women answered sadly.”
“As you regret your evil acts against us and you being a truthful person and helped us in letting know the reality, I forgave you.” Aarav replied. And took the pen drive and put it inside his pocket.
Both left the house and sat inside the car and went back to his office. The person who was stalking them saw them exiting the building he came out of his car and walked towards the woman’s house, he rang the bell as soon as the door opens, he covers the woman’s mouth with his hands and closed the door with his right leg and he shot the women in the middle of her head with Aarav’s gun she died on the spot. He placed Aarav’s gun besides her and left the house. He himself called the police and exited.
The police arrived at the murder spot and checked everything. They found a gun near her body, the police investigated about the gun and it came to know that it belonged to Aarav. So, police’s prime suspect was Aarav Kapoor. The police headed towards the Aarav’s company Evolution Contracts to arrest him.
In Aarav’s cabin Maya and Aarav both were listening to call recordings present in the pen drive. Aarav puts the pen drive in his personal locker as soon as he locks it police arrived to arrest him. The head officer of the police came forward and told, “You are under arrest Mr. Aarav.” Both Maya and Aarav widen their eyes in shocked to hear this.
“For whose murder are you arresting him officer?” Maya asked. The police officer showed them the photo of that women. Darsh also entered the cabin. He was confused while Aarav and Maya both were astonished to know about the murder of that women.
