CHAPTER 18: - SURPRISE VISIT

It was evening when David arrived home, Maya was moving back and forth waiting desperately for her father, as she saw her father entering in the living room, she spirited towards him while calling “dad” and stood in front of him and spoke,

“Dad, I want to talk something important with you.”

David glanced at his daughter and nodded “Let’s talk in our bedroom.”

Both of them went upstairs in his room where Ragni was already present changing the bedsheet. Maya made both her parents to sit on the edge of the bed and she was standing in front and facing them, David and Ragni shared a look and face towards their daughter who closed her eyes inhaling and exhaling deep breaths to calm herself down, she was nervous about how her parents will react to what she was about to say she opened her eyes and spoke with a confined look on her face.

“Mom and Dad, I don’t want to marry Yash. I am in love with someone else and I will only marry him.” She continues after a pause “I love Aarav Kapoor.”

As David heard the name Aarav from Maya’s mouth, he was curious to know how did she knew him. “You mean Jairaj Kapoor’s elder son Aarav Kapoor.” David asked Maya. She nodded instantly and folds her hands on her chest and arched her brows and question, “How do you know him dad, I never told you about him and you both are not even business partners, did you meet with him?”

“Everyone knows about him; I am not an exception.” David replied while shrugging his shoulders escaping from Maya’s question.

“From when do you know him Maya, and since when did you both love each other”, Ragni asked.

Ragni was also surprised about to know how Aarav was known to David, as her husband never told her about Aarav. Maya told them the whole incident which happened 5 years ago. They both were amazed to know, whereas David feels relaxed and relieved that now there is someone who can protect her daughter.

After Viraj broke his promise, David didn’t want his daughter to marry Yash, David realised his mistake for his selfishness he was doing injustice and hurting his daughter, but now he only wishes to see his daughter happy and to marry a person whom she loved. But David didn’t find any way to help his daughter, now he was happy that his daughter will be in good hands. He liked his daughter’s choice. Ragni didn’t know that Yash is capable of doing such evil things, as she was only aware of Yash’s good side. She didn’t want her precious daughter to marry such a cruel and manner less person. They both happily agreed to make Aarav as their future son-in-law and they both allowed Maya to break the engagement with Yash, she removes her engagement ring and handed it to her mother.

At night Yash and Karan both were planning to murder the woman who had visited Yash’s office for the sake of money. They planned to put the blame on Aarav of her death. Yash knew that Aarav always carries a gun with him in his car for security purpose. Yash ordered his men to follow Aarav. That woman had called Maya as she had every detail regarding Maya. She wanted to disclose everything to Maya as she was not met with her demands by Yash.

Maya was busy choosing a beautiful dress from her wardrobe with a beautiful exciting smile on her face, she was jumping in happiness as she wanted to surprise Aarav by visiting him tomorrow at his company. Her phone rang. She picked up the phone and saw an unknown number. She received the call.

“Hello, am I speaking with Maya Seghal.”

“Yes, may I know who you are?”

“You don’t know me, but I know you very well including your past with Aarav.”

“Who are you? What do you want from me?”

“I just want to apologise to you and with Aarav, I am the reason why you both are in this state. I want to meet with you both.”

“Oh, now I know who you are.” Maya said in a sarcastic tone.

“I am sending you my address can you bring Aarav along with you.”

“How can I believe you, if it’s Yash’s another plan to trap Aarav, after all you are his puppet.”

“No, you can believe me, and I have something to give Aarav. I hope you will come.” The woman ended the call and sent her apartment address to Maya.

The next morning Maya went to Evolution Contracts to meet Aarav. She planned to surprise him. Maya knocks on his cabin and enters in. She saw Aarav was working on his laptop busy typing and a bunch of files were kept, when Aarav didn’t hear any voice, he raised his face up from the laptop screen and was surprised to see Maya in his cabin he never expected her. They both hugged each other and Maya raised her hands up to show him the tiffin box which she was holding, “Look, I had prepared breakfast for us, let’s have it before it gets cold.”

Aarav was smiling and spoke, “Will you feed me with your hands, like the way you use to do every time.” Maya nodded with a cute smile, she dragged his wrist and make him sit comfortable on a nearby couch, she started feeding him, with her hands with lots of love loaded. After that Maya told Aarav that her parents got agreed on marrying with you, they had already considered you as their son-in-law. Aarav didn’t expect Maya to act so quick yet he was happy.

Maya asked, “When will you tell your parents about us? Will they accept me? Knowing that once I had engaged with Yash.”

“They will accept you with open arms don’t worry love, as it’s my mom’s wish to have a daughter-in-law like you since she met you for the first time in mall.”

Maya raised her eyebrows and then she remembered the mall incident. “Back then, I was not aware that she is your mom.” She paused and said, “Someone wants to meet with us.”

Aarav replied “Who?”

“Remember that women, in a hotel room with you 5 years ago. She wants to meet us, and she said she wants to apologise.”

Aarav agreed then they both walked out the company holding each other hands.

Kaviya and Darsh were very happy to know about Maya and Aarav reunite. As Aarav and Maya told Darsh and Kaviya about their reunion last night respectively that’s why they cancelled to meet at the Spice and Corner restaurant place. Aarav and Maya were on their way to meet that woman in Aarav’s car. They were unaware that someone was stalking them. They reached the address. Maya and Aarav came out of the car and headed towards the entrance gate of the building.

The person who was stalking them stops his car at a distance away from them and was watching their every move. When Maya and Aarav entered into the building the person came out from his car, he quickly walked towards Aarav’s car where it was parked. He unlocked the door of the car with his technique and started searching Aarav’s gun. As soon as he got the gun, he locked the car again and went running back to his own car. On removing his gloves, he called Karan, “Boss, Mission accomplished.”

“Ok great, you know what’s next to be done.” Karan ended the call. Karan and Yash, they both were in Yash’s office.
