The Beast Behind The Door
Lyra didn't know what to do now. This blood rose had been in her bedroom all day and she didn't know how long she could hide this flower?
She knew that sooner or later, Aiden would definitely find out that this flower was with her or that he actually knew, but was just pretending. Her mind became even more confused since he thought that the seven Schneider brothers were not humans.
"How about this? What should I do now? Should I just throw these flowers away? But where will I throw them? What if someone sees me throwing away Aiden's favorite flowers? Oh my gosh, why would I do something stupid like this?" She shouted in her heart. She didn't even dare to leave her bedroom because she was afraid that Aiden would still be wandering around the house looking for her flowers.
"What's so special about this flower besides its color? Why would a man like him care for roses like this?" She started the process after knowing that she was getting into trouble because of her momentary ambition.
She sighed with all the feelings that were raging. She hoped Lucas would give Aiden an assignment so he wouldn't have to return to this house for a while.
Knock...knock...knock...
The thing she had been most worried about had finally arrived. The sound of knocking on the door was soft, but scary. Since there were no other sounds, she decided to keep quiet instead of asking who was knocking on the door.
Knock...knock...knock...
Three knocks sounded again and this time the atmosphere she felt was even more tense. Lyra swallowed several times, for some reason she felt so afraid. Who exactly was knocking on his door and why didn't that person say anything?
"Why is there no sound? Who is knocking on the door?" She thought. Even though she was reluctant to open the door, her curiosity was too great for her to hold back. She decided to move towards the door quietly so that the sound of her footsteps could not be heard.
Lyra stood in front of her bedroom door and put her ear to the surface of the door to hear sounds coming from outside. But no sound could be heard, only silence.
"There wasn't any sound, if someone knocked on the door, there would definitely be sounds of movement from outside." She thought. Because her curiosity couldn't be contained, Lyra decided to open the door to her room slowly so as not to cause suspicious sounds. But just as the door opened, Aiden's cold face appeared behind the door.
"Aaagh..."
Lyra spontaneously screamed, she felt as if her heart was going to jump out of her body. What Aiden did was truly surprising, making her almost unable to believe that this man was standing in front of the bedroom door and knocking on the door without saying anything.
Aiden looked at her with a murderous gaze that made her look very cruel. Lyra trembled, she was sure that she had been discovered and now there was no point in avoiding it because Aiden definitely knew that she was the one who hid the blood rose.
"W-what are you doing here-"
"Where did you hide it?" Aiden asked in his deep and heavy voice. He looks like a psycho who can kill someone at any time without feeling guilty.
"W-what are you saying? I have absolutely no idea what you-"
"You hid it, didn't you?"
Aiden, who already looked very angry, stepped closer to her, forcing her to step backwards. As much as possible, Lyra kept her distance from Aiden, who she believed could kill her at any time.
"Aiden, I didn't-"
Aiden grabbed her neck, strangling her so hard that Lyra's body was lifted from the floor. Lyra struggled to free herself from Aiden's grip. She choked until her face turned red.
"Ugh..let me go-"
Realizing that Lyra would die if he didn't stop immediately, Aiden immediately released his grip. Lyra fell to the floor coughing as she almost stopped breathing.
Just as she expected, Aiden was the type of person who would kill anyone who bothered him indiscriminately, no matter whether male or female. He will definitely repay them for their actions.
Lyra touched her neck, which felt sore because of Aiden's grip, who could grip her neck using only one hand.
"Cough..." Lyra coughed. She still couldn't breathe properly.
Aiden was still in the mode where he could attack Lyra again. This was evident from how he watched Lyra's every move.
"I'm sure you're not pretending not to know about the flowers on your bed!" Aiden said. Lyra was stunned, she remembered that she had put the flower on her bed and she was sure Aiden had noticed it.
"W-wait, w-what are you saying? I don't-"
"How long are you going to act like this, hmm? You make me so sick."
