War ends

"We are all willing to leave so thats not even a—" Kate was yelling whem they suddenly heard him muttering to himself.

"I guess he's not listening to us, let's gt this over with and we would come out alive. I promise." James said because that was the most reassuring thing that ah of them wanted to hear at that point.

Even if it felt like a suicide mission, they wanted to be sure that the were going to come out of it alive.

"All right." They nodded and after giving themselves one last hug, they began muttering different kind of spell and the atmosphere became cold all of a sudden.

"From this poibt onwards, you're on your own." Rico said and in a kind of whitish dyst like smoke, GE disappeared and appeared at the other side if the cell just outside the glass where he could shout instructions.

As they casted their spells, the demon in the elders fully awakened and smiled evilly as he stared at the four of them all entrapped in one room, ut was a fight till death.

"You had the nerves to lock me up in the same room with you, it seems like you were expecting a quick death for yourselces. Well then, let's get it over with." The shadow snickered as it began colliding with each and every of his parts that were in the elders and with each elders body he exited, the elder fell flat doen and laid motionless.

In less than 2 minutes, the shadows had exited the body of the 11 elders and was now one in himself.

"Time for bed time kids." He said as he raised his hands and black smoke began filling the room.

"This is the part where you don't have to pay attention to anything he is doing else he wins. Believe in yourself and keep casting your spells." Rico yelled at them and they did their best to focus.

Alec and Sam who were more like defenders as they gave their energy to Kate and James just stood with their eyes closed as a white light emerged from their hands and seeped into Kate's and Jame's body.

They just stood without moving like they were dead, but they weren't.

Suddenly the whole cell began shaking like some kind of earthquake was about happening.

James eyes had turned blue and Kate's was red and they looked as defiant as ever while Sam and Alec's were white that one couldn't state insire of them.

The light in them was blinding.

"Banished from earth, return to your stead in hell." Jame's and Kate were muttering and the demon stated around in confusion as ut seemed like only the part he stood was shaking profusely.

"You can't send me back to hell." He snickered and began gathering up the black smoke into a round circle and there it at them but was shocked when ut hung mid way and returned back to him.

He was on his knees now and the ground beneath Alastor's feet opened up and he fell in while it sealed up almost immediately.

Immediately the demon was buried, they all fell on the floor and just laid there like they were lifeless.

Too weak to stand because they had used up energy in putting the demon away.

"Great jobs kiddos. Now get up, there are other things that you need to attend to." Rico said hitting them each in the leg with the hard base of his boot.

"I want to stand up, but my bones are too weak to stand to be very honest. I'm even using up what little energy I have left to answer you Rico." Alec answered in Low tunes as she tried her best to stand up from the floor but failed woefully.

"I feel like I just ran 100 miles a minute because my bones wouldn't even cooperate with me." Kate said in a very tiny voice while James just laid there with his eyes open and a smile on his face.

"The fact that we are even alive is the best thing to think of at this moment. When we were battling that beast, I saw life and death flash in between my eyes and I wondered if it was the way we would all die as a team." James commented and they all chuckled.

"But come to think of it, if we died as a team it would have been one of the most honorable death." Sam emphasized and the other three nodded in agreement while Rico just stared at them.

"Rico, I have a question and I really hope that you give a straight answer this time." Alec stated as she got up and sat staring at him.

"Alec do you feel more better bugging me with questions? Anyways, ask away. If it's something I want to reply I would, else I wouldn't." Rico enunciated and the other three just stared at Alec wondering what was about to proceed out of her mouth.

"Now that the demon is buried, i hope he's gone for good because I wouldn't feel better battling the same demon over and over again. So I hope he's really gone." Alec asked staring at the other three and they nodded in support of her question.

"In case you do not understand what you just did you sealed the demon away and banished it from Earth. If that demon return, it was only you guys that freed it." Rico stated and they heaved a sigh of relief.

"I think the knowledge of that makes me suddenly have energy to stand." Sam said and burst out laughing as he stood up to his feet.

"The realization that you do not have to Battle that early demon twice mixes all the more fun and yeah, I do have energy to stand now." James also said and stood up though they were staggering like they would fall any instant which each step.he took.

"What are you the men for? We can't even stand so why not just haul us over your shoulders and take us to our seat?" Kate said and James glared at her.

"You know I can totally act like a lady too. I'll just fall face flat and nothing is going to happen so you see if its that easy to carry someone. No one is carrying you lady." James scoffed and kate clicked her tongue as she managed to stand alongside Alec.

"It seems your journey wouldn't give you any spare time to rest and fawn over your victory because right now there is an even bigger problem." Rico finally bursted and that made them turn to gaze sharply at him.

"Couldn't you just save it for later so this victory that we just won can sink in? But who am I kidding? Of course, you're Rico and you will do what you want." Alex whined as they waited to hear the bigger problem that Rico was referring to.

"Your friend Peter, is about to die by the hands of his love interest but you must be aware of the fact that it is not her choice. She's probably thinking of failing the mission and sparing his life but that might totally endanger her own life."

"Wait a minute, who is this love interest?" Kate asked and they looked at him expectantly.

"Carly."
