Chapter 34 A Little Secret

Chapter 34 A Little Secret
Weylin chose not to respond to Darren's words. Instantly, he chased away the man he trusted to immediately take his and Aiden's hair samples to the hospital.

Darren shook his head in disbelief at his boss's whimsical fickleness. Even though as far as he knew, Weylin was not someone who easily changed a decision.

The man would defend everything he decided even though there were things that confused him. However, this time,

Weylin, who wasn't too enthusiastic at first, turned so excited to immediately find out the real identity of Kelsey's son.

With hasty steps, Darren came out of the office and immediately headed for the best hospital in Leeds, namely, Chapel Allerton Hospital which was located quite far from Ans Bank.

Kelsey who coincidentally saw Darren who was looking fast was a little surprised.

"Why isn't he with Weylin?" Kelsey muttered confusedly.

Selena, who came downstairs with Kelsey, replied, "The boss is working overtime it seems. I heard his secretary was grumbling earlier because he suddenly disappeared for almost two hours and only came back when office hours were about to end."

"Yes. Wow, he said the boss is disciplined. But what's the discipline if he goes quietly like that and makes his secretary at a loss? Really irresponsible," Angel continued.

Kelsey shook her head, "As far as I know he was known for being disciplined back then. Well, he might just have some urgent business."

"But he should at least tell his secretary right?" she replied.

Kelsey replied, "Maybe he didn't have time, in a hurry."

Angel raised an eyebrow in surprise then nudged Kelsey's shoulder, "Kelsey Lieven, why are you defending him?"

Kelsey was surprised when Angel said that.

"I didn't defend him," Kelsey dodged.

"Yeah, you defended him. You even gave reasons as if you really knew the man," Selena added.

Kelsey suddenly pouted, "I'm not defending him. I'm just trying to think objectively. And one more thing, I don't really know him."

Selena sighed, "Hm. Kels, don't get me wrong. I just don't want you to like it later. I don't want him to hurt you again."

Kelsey smiled faintly, "Don't worry. I wouldn't possibly like him. You know, he's the only person I hate in this world."

Angel chuckled, "Don't hate him so much."

Kelsey pursed her lips. "Why I can not?"

Selena put her arm around her best friend's shoulder and said, "Have you forgotten that hate can easily turn into love?"

"Yes, yes. The distance between hate and love is very thin, baby. So just hate him naturally," Angel said exasperatedly.

Kelsey snorted.

She's not that stupid. In the past, she had indeed been attracted to 'M', but that was before she found out that 'M', the hot sexy dancer, was Weylin Malachy, her future husband.

If she had known the man's true identity beforehand, she would not have allowed herself to fall into the man who had finally taken her virginity.

Error. Weylin had never taken away her chastity but she herself had passed it on to Weylin back then. Uhh, remembering that night, Kelsey felt nauseous again.

She wanted to vomit every time she remembered how badly she wanted 'M' touch because of the damn drug that people put in her drink.

"Hey, what are you thinking? Daydreaming again," Angel said again.

"Oh, nothing," Kelsey replied, startled.

She then glanced at her watch and immediately slapped her forehead, "I'm almost late picking up Aiden. I'll go first."

The next afternoon, Weylin returned to Aiden's school and was now waiting for the boy's lunch time. As they had agreed,
Weylin cheerfully walked towards the bench by the tree that Aiden had said.

For some reason, Weylin's heart felt so filled with joy that exploded while waiting to meet Kelsey Lieven's son. It seemed he didn't even need a DNA test to prove that Aiden was indeed his son. The test evidence would only be used to let Kelsey know if she already knew about Aiden's identity.

"Uncle, have you been waiting long?" Aiden asked when he approached him.

Weylin turned his head and smiled. The man stood up and immediately stroked the boy's hair gently, "No. Just now. Well, now tell Uncle. Where are you going today?"

Aiden smiled brightly "Can I choose the place Uncle?"

“Yes, of course,” Weylin replied softly.

"Just a restaurant, Uncle," Aiden said happily.

"What restaurant?" Weylin asked again.

Aiden replied, "A fried chicken restaurant. I haven't been there in a long time. Mom is too busy and can't take the day off.
The restaurant is only open until late afternoon, Uncle. Is that okay?"

Weylin stared at the boy for a moment and then replied, "Yes, of course you can. Wait a minute, please. Uncle's permission from the teacher first."

"Okay, Uncle."

And so it went on, for three days straight, they always met secretly without Kelsey knowing. The woman never suspected anything and little Aiden didn't say anything either to her because she didn't ask either.

Aiden felt like he had done nothing wrong and wasn't lying. Like Uncle Weylin said, he was just keeping a little secret from his mother.

One afternoon, an hour before Weylin was going to meet Aiden, Darren came into his office carrying a brown envelope.

Weylin who was busy poring over the reports of his employees immediately said, "What did you bring?"

Darren placed the large envelope on the table and then replied, "Here are the results of a DNA test between you and the Young Master, Sir."

Weylin suddenly stopped what he was doing and turned to Darren, "Is it out already?"

"Yes, Sir. I just picked it up earlier," Darren replied.

Weylin nodded his head, "Good job, Darren."

Seeing Weylin did not open it, Darren's brow furrowed in confusion, "You didn't open it right away?"

"I already know the result," Weylin replied confidently.

Darren was even more confused, "What do you mean?"

"Aiden is definitely my son. After being with him for a few days, I'm sure he is indeed my son. He looks a lot like me, Darren. Not only in face, but some of his likes and everything else, he's like a copy of me," Weylin explained looking excited.

Darren said, "But you still have to open it right?"

Weylin didn't really need any more proof, but he knew Darren was right, he still had to confirm. So he quickly grabbed the envelope and immediately pulled out the original. He read it seriously.
a
A sweet smile appeared on his lips, "99.99 percent match."

"He really is my son, Darren. Aiden is my son," Weylin said so happily.

Darren was pleased of course but he then he asked back, "So what are you going to do now?"

Weylin's smile that had been stretched a little, he said, "I'll ask Kelsey why she's hiding this matter."
