Chapter 33 A Dancer Is Good!
Weylin couldn't say anything yet but Aiden immediately said, "What's wrong, Uncle?"
"Uh-"
"Isn't being a dancer bad?" Aiden asked innocently.
Weylin who had been tensed up earlier started to melt away a bit, "It's not like that. Dancer is a good job too. But are you sure your daddy is really a dancer?"
Aiden nodded confidently, "Yes. Mom said Dad works as a dancer. He is a very good dancer."
When he said that, the corners of his lips lifted to form a sweet smile. The little boy looked very proud of it.
"You really like it if your dad was a dancer, right?" Weylin asked curiously.
Aiden replied, "Yeah. If he likes to be a dancer, I will like it."
Weylin's forehead furrowed in surprise, "Why is that?"
Weylin said earnestly.
"Yes, because of what daddy likes, I will definitely like it because daddy's choice is definitely the best for daddy," the little boy said honestly as he spooned the mint-flavored ice cream back into his tiny mouth.
Weylin became eager to hug the child. He looked at him tenderly.
If only everyone thought so, Aiden. Weylin thought.
However, the fact that Aiden's father was a dancer starts to bother him.
Why did Kelsey say that? Was that the real thing? Was that true? But why could his profession be the same as what he liked? Was it just a coincidence?
However, Weylin half-heartedly wished that Aiden really was his son. He didn't know what made him easily accept that Aiden was indeed his flesh and blood.
"Really, Uncle?" Aiden said in disbelief.
"Of course. By the way, can I ask you something?" Weylin asked.
Aiden nodded, "If Aiden has one, Aiden will definitely give it to Uncle."
Weylin smiled slightly and stroked Aiden's hair affectionately, his heart actually warmed up close to the boy.
"Nothing, Aiden. But I asked you to keep the meeting a secret from your mother, didn't you?" Weylin asked.
Aiden was surprised, "I don't want to lie to Mom."
Weylin was taken aback, “Hey, not lying. I just said there's no need to tell mom.”
Aiden tried to digest Weylin's words, "And if mom asks how, Uncle?"
Weylin replied, “You may say so if your Mama asks, otherwise, There's no need to say it."
Aiden thought again. His eyes occasionally glanced up and this made Weylin very happy with Aiden.
"Okay then. I would say if mom asked," Aiden concluded.
Weylin breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank you. Do you want to see me tomorrow?"
Aiden's eyes looked excited, "You will be here again?"
"Yes. If you want," Weylin said hopefully.
Aiden smiled, "Yes. I want to see you again."
Weylin was so happy to hear that he didn't realize he had hugged the child. Aiden didn't even try to break away from Weylin, because once he reminded himself that Weylin wasn't a bad person.
He was his mother's friend. However, it was a small child who the nearly five year old asked, "But, Uncle. Why can't I tell mom that you are seeing me?"
Weylin let go of the hug and replied, "Because I and Aiden's mom are having a little fight. I am afraid that later Aiden's mom will get angry at me."
Aiden nodded understandingly, he also had a fight with his friend and would get even angrier if he bothered himself again.
"I see."
Weylin nodded, "Tomorrow, I will come here again but at lunch time noon huh? It's okay, right?"
"It's okay, Uncle."
Weylin again stroked the boy's hair. And out of nowhere an idea suddenly crossed his head. He pulled Aiden's hair out a few strands.
"Ouch," Aiden complained immediately holding his head.
Weylin grimaced, “Uh, sorry. I didn't do it on purpose."
Aiden nodded in disbelief at that.
"Okay, Aiden. Now I will take you to school again," Weylin said, who actually wasn't willing if he had to part with this lovely child now.
After dropping off the little boy there, Weylin immediately returned to his office and finished his work that had been delayed.
Darren knocked on his door an hour later.
"Get in!" Weylin said.
The young man not far from Weylin's age asked, "What's wrong with calling me, Master?"
Weylin quickly took out Aiden's hair which he had packed in a plastic bag. He then pulled out his own hair and put it in an empty plastic bag.
After marking each plastic bag, he handed it over to Darren who received it with a curious expression on his face.
"My hair and Aiden's hair. Do a DNA test, Darren!" Weylin ordered.
Darren was of course very surprised, did not expect that Weylin would do it this quickly, "Where did you get this?"
Weylin smiled mysteriously, "You don't need to know. The important thing is just do the test. I hope the results come out soon."
Darren looked at him suspiciously, "Miss Lieven knows about this, Master?"
Weylin replied, "Of course not. I'll talk to her when the results are out."
Darren glanced disapprovingly at his boss, "What if Miss Lieven finds out about this and worsens the relationship between you and him?"
Weylin closed his eyes slowly, feeling irritated, "No way. I'm just looking for the truth. I didn't hurt her anyway, did I? Why does this make my relationship with her worse. Come on, Darren."
Darren felt that Weylin, who was famous for his intelligence, had now become a fool because he couldn't think straight.
It seemed like his boss was trying to dig his own grave. Because it was obvious, Kelsey Lieven who had become Weylin's ex-fiancé he would be furious if he found out Weylin had secretly carried out a DNA test on his son.
This must have made her feel Weylin was doing it on purpose to piss her off.
“Hope you know what you have done, sir. I hope everything will still be fine," Darren said then.
"Hm. By the way, how long will it take for the results?" Weylin asked excitedly.
"Three days at the earliest, Young Master." Darren answered briefly.
Weylin played with his lips disapprovingly.
"What's taking so long? Are all hospitals like that? I mean doesn't anyone do the test quicker?" Weylin asked impatiently.
Darren sighed tiredly, "That's the standard, Sir."
Weylin pursed his lips but he realized he had no other choice but to wait.
"Okay, it's fine. I can wait. Three days right? It won't feel like long," Weylin said with a stupid smile.
Darren raised an eyebrow in confusion. When could Weylin smile like that?
"Are you all right, Young Master?" Darren asked worriedly.
Weylin glanced disapprovingly at his confidant, “What's the point of your question?"
Weylin ignored Darren. He spoke, "I hope the results are positive."
"Hm. Huh!?" Darren gaped in shock.
