Chapter 741
Chapter 741
Upon hearing the news, Raymond felt a surge of excitement and instinctively glanced at Margaret, but he didn't say much.
"Alright, come over and find me now."
No matter what happened back then, once Ryan arrived, the truth would be revealed.
Seeing Raymond's unusual expression, Margaret knew something significant must have happened and had a vague premonition. She didn't ask further, and the two of them patiently waited in the villa. Before long, Ryan hurried in.
Ryan rushed in, holding a stack of documents. Seeing Raymond and Margaret waiting for him on the sofa, he felt a wave of nervousness.
Raymond frowned and walked over, asking softly, "Ryan, did you get to the bottom of it?"
Ryan nodded firmly. "Yes, Mr. Seymour, I've thoroughly investigated everything from back then."
Margaret's heart skipped a beat, and she quickly asked, "Ryan, what do you mean? Did you uncover the truth about my parents and the Seymour family?"
Ryan stepped forward and handed the documents to Raymond and Margaret. "Yes, Ms. Neville. I've been working overtime to investigate the events from those years, and with the Brown Group's software system collapsing, it expedited my progress."
Margaret felt a bit puzzled. The Brown Group? So, it really had something to do with the Brown family?
Raymond spoke up. "Alright, Ryan, stop keeping us in suspense. Just tell us what happened back then."
Ryan began to explain, "Mr. Seymour, the events from back then were not caused by the Neville family. It was all part of Dorian's plan, and we fell right into his trap."
Raymond and Margaret were both shocked. They never imagined Dorian was behind it all.
"Ryan, you're not just guessing or suspecting, right? You've got solid evidence this time, haven't you?" Raymond questioned in disbelief.
Ryan responded confidently, "Absolutely, Mr. Seymour. This time, I've thoroughly investigated and printed out the evidence."
"Mrs. Elodie Seymour wanted Mr. Raymond Seymour to marry Stella to strengthen the Seymour Group and the Brown Group. She thought she could control the Brown family."
"But Mr. Raymond Seymour disagreed, and Mr. Oscar Seymour also opposed the marriage. Because of Mr. Oscar Seymour's opposition, he brought about his own demise."
Margaret frowned slightly. It seemed her previous suspicions were correct.
Ryan glanced at Margaret and continued, "Mr. Oscar Seymour preferred a union with the Neville family, which fueled the animosity between the Brown family and the Neville family."
"The car accident was orchestrated by Dorian. He tampered with Mr. Oscar Seymour's car and the Neville family's car, causing an accident on the highway. He then bribed the media to spread the narrative that the Neville family intentionally crashed into Mr. Oscar Seymour."
As Ryan spoke, Margaret clenched her fists. After all these years, the truth finally came out.
She had thought Raymond's enemies were behind it, knowing her parents had no feud with the Seymour family. But it turned out to be the Brown family all along.
Raymond sighed deeply. "I never expected this. You think you know someone, but you don't. I've investigated for years and never thought the real culprit was Dorian."
Raymond had considered that it might be someone he had inadvertently offended in business or one of his many enemies. But he never investigated Dorian, trusting him too much.
Dorian betrayed his wife, had mistresses and illegitimate children, and committed shocking acts over a decade ago.
"Yeah, Mr. Seymour. When I uncovered this, I was stunned. I never imagined Dorian was behind it."
"He wanted you to be with Stella, and the only way for that to happen was for you and Margaret to become enemies."
Margaret squinted slightly and took a deep breath. "So, Dorian did all this to remove obstacles in his career, using his daughter Stella as a pawn. Everything he did was to protect the Brown Group."
"Everyone thought my parents targeted Mr. Oscar Seymour, deliberately causing his death, so they believed my parents were the real culprits."
"Dorian not only drove a wedge between the Neville family and the Seymour family, but he also ensured we could never associate with the Seymour family again."
Thinking back, Margaret felt a surge of anger. Dorian's ruthless actions had caused her parents to suffer unjustly for years. It was despicable.
Raymond clenched his fists and slammed them on the table. "Dorian is truly vile. We've gathered all the evidence, and I'm handing this over to the police."
Ryan nodded in agreement. "Yes, Mr. Seymour. The Brown Group is on the brink of collapse, and with Stella's negative publicity, the Brown Group will soon fall. Now is the time to present the evidence to the police. They'll have no hesitation in arresting him."
Raymond looked at the documents Ryan had handed over. The evidence was comprehensive, and if given to the police, there would be no doubt.
Raymond then turned to Margaret. "Do you think handing Dorian over to the police is the best move right now?"
As Raymond asked, Margaret's eyes were already filled with tears. She had wanted to use her power to ruin Dorian, but she realized that while Dorian was ruthless, she needed to remain rational.
