Chapter 139 Not Tired of Playing Yet
Scarlett was kissed breathless by him, her head spinning, unable to think straight.
She worried he might really lose control and hurt the baby.
But she also clearly remembered that last time, to spite Alice, she'd lost control and made love with him once. The next day he forced her to take the morning-after pill.
He'd even said that if she got pregnant, she should get rid of it.
She could still clearly recall his sharp furrowed brows and the seriousness and coldness in his eyes.
Scarlett didn't dare take that risk!
She couldn't afford to gamble. She absolutely couldn't tell Daniel.
He didn't want her baby at all - every time he practically took multiple contraceptive measures.
If he knew she was pregnant, he'd definitely send her for an abortion.
At that thought, Scarlett's face turned pale.
She stubbornly glared at Daniel. "No reason. We registered for divorce! We can't do this anymore. Plus, this is in a car. Stop being crazy. Please, I don't want this!"
However, Scarlett's stubbornness at this moment couldn't earn her any mercy from Daniel.
It only fueled the growing fire of anger in Daniel's heart.
Daniel lifted his hand to grip Scarlett's chin, saying coldly, "Scarlett, you really think I'm bluffing? Fine!"
As Daniel finished speaking, he kicked hard at the partition toward the driver's seat.
Scarlett immediately felt the car beneath her turn, and it became bumpy.
Daniel held Scarlett and flipped over - Scarlett on top, Daniel below.
But the position change didn't make Scarlett feel any better, because when she turned her head, she saw the car had already turned from the main road onto a small path.
The bumpy sloping path led down to a desolate grove of trees, the road surface uneven.
Her face flushed red with panic. "Daniel, you bastard! If you really have those needs, go find someone else!"
Daniel laughed coldly. "Not even officially divorced yet and you're already eager to push me away? Telling me to find another woman - who are you planning to find? Ramon? Or some other man!"
Daniel's voice was extremely gloomy, his eyes carrying a sharp, cold gleam.
Daniel thought about how Scarlett had Ramon cover for her, planning to study abroad in Vesperia with him.
Thinking about how she'd schemed so hard to get divorced, how she'd hidden things from him again and again, and even now refused to tell him she was pregnant - he couldn't control his violent impulses, couldn't help overthinking.
She wouldn't say - was it because she never planned to keep this baby?
Was she planning to go abroad and get rid of the baby so she could date other men?
Because she didn't care about the baby at all, that's why even with him pressuring her like this now, she could remain silent.
Or was she worried that if she told him about her pregnancy, he'd never let her leave?
The car stopped in the woods. There was a sound from the driver's seat - the driver getting out and walking away.
Daniel flipped over and pressed her back down beneath him.
Outside, the noise of traffic had faded away, leaving only the sound of winter wind blowing through the sparse trees, fragile leaves falling with rustling sounds.
Scarlett's tears also fell, unable to hold back any longer.
Daniel's thin lips came down, seeming both gently coaxing and ruthlessly warning, kissing her eyes, her cheeks, finally pressing against her red lips as he spoke again.
"Be good. What else are you hiding from me?"
Scarlett didn't know what he wanted to hear. She was supposed to leave already.
She'd worked so hard to get to this point. She didn't want to turn back.
Daniel had clearly agreed, but suddenly he'd dragged her back, saying nothing, just tormenting and humiliating her like this.
She wasn't his brain cell - how was she supposed to know what he was going crazy about?
She stared at him. "You said you regretted it. So you regret giving me freedom and want to keep tormenting me? Fine! If you're not tired of this game yet, go ahead. Just send me back to the airport after this!"
Scarlett gave up struggling. She couldn't resist anyway.
And she didn't know if it was true that women were more sensitive during pregnancy, but she shamefully discovered she wasn't completely unfeeling.
She figured she was already over three months pregnant, and the baby had been stable all along.
Online it said you could have sex after three months of pregnancy, as long as you were careful it would be fine.
She thought if Daniel wanted to make love with her, then fine - as long as he'd send her to the airport after.
But Scarlett's words successfully enraged Daniel. His face darkened.
"Tired of the game? I only regret being too indulgent and considerate with you before!"
Daniel's finger suddenly lifted Scarlett's chin as he leaned close to her red lips.
"Scarlett, since you've already admitted you're a plaything, why should I hold back!"
As he finished speaking, he gave her no more chance to escape.
When it was over, the sky outside had turned pitch black.
Moonlight emerged from behind the clouds, shining through the car window.
Scarlett sat in Daniel's arms, completely drained of strength.
He carefully and slowly helped her put her clothes back on, one piece at a time, asking in her ear.
"Are you okay? Does anything hurt?"
Scarlett blushed and said nothing. She was extremely embarrassed.
"Still haven't learned?" Daniel was putting socks on Scarlett. Seeing her silence, he scratched her sole a couple times with his fingertip.
Scarlett was most ticklish on the soles of her feet.
She instantly trembled from the tickling, burrowing into Daniel's arms, begging tearfully for mercy.
"Okay, I'm fine!"
Her feet kicked wildly until his palm pressed them down and she finally settled.
Daniel rested his chin on top of Scarlett's head and chuckled softly.
Scarlett's face was red - she didn't dare look up at all.
Daniel's fingers brushed aside the loose hair falling by her face, tidying the messy strands and hooking them behind her ear.
Looking at the soft and delicate Scarlett in his arms, the jealousy and displeasure in Daniel's eyes dissipated, leaving only tenderness filling his heart.
His thin lips kissed her forehead. He was just about to bring up her hidden pregnancy himself and have a proper talk with her, when he saw Scarlett lift her head and speak first.
"Can you take me back to the airport now? I remember there's another flight to Vesperia late tonight. If I go now, I can still make it."
