Chapter 138 He Wants Her to Tell Him Personally
How could Scarlett willingly leave with Daniel? She immediately grabbed the armrest of the seat and cried out for help.
"I'm not going! Help! I don't know him!"
She twisted her head around, only to realize that although the plane was full of people, it was dead silent.
Everyone was staring in their direction, but no one dared to step forward.
Because standing behind Daniel were the captain, the crew members, and several bodyguards in black that Daniel had brought with him.
The captain had personally opened the cabin door to let Daniel in. Anyone could tell that Daniel was someone not to be messed with.
But Scarlett didn't believe it. She believed that no matter what, there would always be people who weren't afraid of power.
She was about to ask for help again when Daniel leaned down and whispered in her ear.
"Don't you care about Sarah and James anymore?"
Daniel was actually using Sarah and James as a threat.
Scarlett's heart sank, and she instinctively loosened her grip on the armrest.
Daniel lifted her completely into his arms. He seemed to be in a good mood and even nodded at the captain and others.
"Sorry for the trouble, everyone."
When Daniel and his men came in, the captain and crew had been responsible for calming the passengers and preventing people from taking random photos.
Daniel carried Scarlett quickly toward the cabin door. Since there was no possibility of escaping him now, Scarlett stopped struggling and hung her head quietly, letting Daniel take her away.
Daniel looked down. Scarlett's long hair fell forward, and from his angle, he could only see the soft top of her head, which made her look especially docile.
Thinking that she was already carrying their child in her belly, Daniel's steps gradually slowed down, becoming more steady.
He tightened his arms, holding Scarlett closer, as if holding a treasure.
Strange emotions swelled in his chest, and the restless, violent feelings from before seemed to be filled with something heavy, giving him a sense of satisfaction.
Scarlett was carried off the plane by Daniel. A car was already parked not far away.
Daniel walked over with steady steps, and a bodyguard immediately opened the car door.
But Scarlett still wasn't willing to give up. She lifted her head from Daniel's arms, looked back at the plane right in front of her, and tugged at Daniel's tie.
"Daniel, didn't we already agree? After the one-month cooling-off period, we'd go get the divorce certificate. And you had no objection to me going abroad. How can you go back on your word!"
Daniel looked down at her. Scarlett's face was pale, but her eyes were red, looking so wronged she was about to cry from anger.
He had come after her, but she wasn't the least bit happy about it. Instead, she seemed very sad and hurt.
"Do you want to leave me that badly?" Daniel sneered and curled his lips.
As soon as Daniel asked the question, he seemed to have no interest in hearing her answer. He said in a low voice, "Too bad, you're not the one in control!"
He bent down and placed Scarlett in the car, then followed right behind her.
The car quickly started moving. Scarlett sat on the long sofa seat, not wanting to be close to Daniel at all.
She moved to the side, creating distance between herself and Daniel.
But Daniel immediately followed, his long legs casually spread apart, his tense thighs pressing against Scarlett's jeans.
Fortunately, the car was spacious enough. Scarlett moved two more spots away, creating an even wider distance from Daniel.
She made it crystal clear that she didn't want to deal with him.
Daniel didn't follow this time, but suddenly reached out, grabbed Scarlett's legs, and threw them onto the sofa seat.
Before Scarlett could react, he flipped her over on the sofa. The light above her head darkened as Daniel pressed down on her.
Scarlett tried to struggle, but Daniel's large hand slipped under her clothes and rested on her waist.
"What are you doing?"
The warmth of his palm was scorching hot. Scarlett froze, her eyes widening, her voice trembling.
She felt that Daniel was very off. She was increasingly unable to understand what he was thinking.
"Why are you so nervous?"
Daniel looked down at Scarlett beneath him, his voice calm, but his hand was quite bold.
How could Scarlett not be nervous?
Her waist had always been sensitive, and he surely knew that, which was why he kept moving his hand back and forth there.
While her body was being teased, Scarlett also worried about her pregnancy being discovered.
Although her lower abdomen was still very flat.
Daniel probably couldn't feel anything.
"Why aren't you talking? Don't you like it when I touch you like this anymore? I remember you used to like it a lot."
Daniel leaned close to Scarlett's ear, his hot breath accompanied by faint kisses, falling one after another on the hollow of her neck and behind her ear.
Scarlett's cheeks flushed red with shame and anger.
She struggled, "Get off me! You dragged me back just for this kind of thing?"
Daniel pressed Scarlett down firmly. He lifted his head from the hollow of her neck, his narrow eyes slightly narrowed.
"Don't you have something to tell me? Think carefully."
Daniel's handsome face was calm and expressionless, but his entire being seemed to be suppressing an extremely dangerous aura.
Thinking about how Scarlett had hidden her pregnancy from him and wanted to go abroad with Ramon, anger churned in Daniel's heart, jealousy surging like a tide, threatening to tear his rationality to shreds.
He was giving her one more chance. He wanted her to tell him about the pregnancy herself!
But Scarlett was frightened and angered by Daniel's cold and dangerous demeanor.
"No! I have nothing to say to you! We've already registered for divorce, we have nothing left to talk about! You're Daniel, a powerful figure in Shadow City. You can have any woman you want. If you want to have sex, go find Alice, you...!"
Before Scarlett could finish her angry words, Daniel suddenly pressed his lips down hard, blocking her mouth.
This kiss was fierce and rough, without a trace of tenderness.
Scarlett was terrified and bit Daniel's lip. A faint taste of blood spread between their lips and teeth, but he didn't stop.
Scarlett raised her hand to hit him, but he caught her hand and intertwined their fingers, pressing her back against the leather sofa seat.
The entire car was filled with intense sounds and sensations. Through the car window came the roar of passing vehicles.
This was on the road, in the car, and he was actually...
If it weren't for his familiar scent, Scarlett would almost doubt whether the man before her, who seemed crazed and controlled by desire, was really Daniel.
In their two years of marriage, he had always been restrained and aloof. She had never known that he could go this crazy over this kind of thing.
During their struggle, her clothes had become disheveled, her jeans had been pulled off, and she was trembling non-stop.
Scarlett's whole body went rigid, her eyes wide.
It was only then that Daniel released her red lips, allowing her to breathe and speak.
He asked again in a hoarse voice, "Scarlett, are you sure you have nothing to tell me?"
Scarlett was breathing heavily. She didn't know what Daniel wanted her to say.
She was frightened by him. She had seen him in many ways—noble and aloof, silent and indifferent, restrained and patient, high-spirited and confident.
But she had truly never seen him like this—crazy, rough, and vicious.
She was full of fear, shame, and humiliation, while also worried about the baby in her belly.
"No! Don't!" She panted rapidly, pleading.
Daniel finally stopped, his eyes deep and suppressed as he stared at her.
"Tell me, why not?"
