Chapter 277 Spoiling Sophia Isn't Done This Way
Benjamin was quite surprised by this. He never expected Sophia to have so many more surprises waiting for him to discover.
The people in the car behind were shocked, staring at the scene in disbelief, unable to react for a long time.
What just happened? Where did the car go? Where was Benjamin?
The man in sunglasses was the first to snap out of it, barking sternly, "What are you standing there for? Chase them! If the boss finds out we lost them, we're done for!"
The other man quickly came to his senses and hurried to speed up.
After driving for a while, they finally spotted that familiar car. Before they could feel relieved, the car sped up again.
After pulling away some distance, Sophia slowly reduced her speed, her eyes looking out the window.
Just when they thought they were about to catch up, she accelerated again...
This happened several times, and the two men behind were played like fools, as if she were toying with little pets.
The driver was completely enraged, angrily pounding the steering wheel.
"She's doing this on purpose! She must be doing this on purpose! This is so insulting!"
"Just ram into them!" The man in sunglasses lost his patience too, pulling out a gun from his pocket and aiming at the car window ahead.
The driver cursed angrily, "Are you crazy? What if we alert the police?"
"Can't worry about that now! I can't take it anymore! Ram them!"
But they soon realized that forget about ramming—they couldn't even catch up.
No matter how fast they went, Sophia could always go faster.
After venting her frustration, Sophia returned to normal driving speed. When the car behind caught up, she slowly rolled down her window.
Her fair, delicate hand extended from the window, a provocative smile on her gorgeous face, bold and carefree.
The two men looked at Sophia and couldn't help but be momentarily mesmerized.
The next second, they saw Sophia suddenly make a contemptuous gesture, then drove off into the distance.
The two men looked at each other. By the time they reacted, the car had disappeared again.
This time they really lost them, because not far ahead was a crossroads.
They had no idea which direction Sophia had driven.
The two men pulled over in defeat, feeling like a heavy stone was pressing on their chests, suffocating and oppressive.
"We actually got played by a woman?"
"Didn't catch them, and lost them too. The boss won't let us off."
Thinking of their boss's cruel methods, both men shuddered involuntarily, their faces falling.
Meanwhile, Sophia drove all the way into the mountains, stopping at the foot of the mountain.
As soon as the car pulled over, Chase quickly opened the door and leaned against a tree, throwing up violently.
After that ordeal, Chase felt his stomach churning. All the food he'd eaten at lunch came rushing up through his throat, almost emptying his stomach completely.
Benjamin was completely fine though, his expression still calm, just his face a bit pale.
Sophia guiltily touched her nose. "Are you guys okay? I just got playful earlier. I didn't know you'd get carsick."
Chase leaned against the tree and couldn't help rolling his eyes.
At that speed, any normal person would get carsick, okay?
Sophia laughed awkwardly, a bit embarrassed, her cheeks slightly flushed. "I was just angry and wanted to vent! Who told those two to be so arrogant!"
When she was little, Gregory was mischievous and always dragged her to the racing track at the foot of the mountain to practice.
Gregory's purpose in taking her along was naturally to use her as a shield.
Gregory was the most rebellious one and gave Robert the biggest headaches.
Robert taught him medicine, but he said he wasn't interested. When told to study properly, he said classes were too boring.
Every time Gregory snuck out and Robert found out, he'd get a whipping.
So Gregory got smart later and started taking her along. When Robert asked, he'd say he was taking Sophia out to see the world, so she wouldn't always stay on the mountain.
How could Robert not see through his intentions? But for Sophia's sake, he tolerated it again and again.
Over time, Sophia developed her skills. Whether in technique or speed, she was as good as any professional racer.
She even surpassed her teacher—even Gregory was no match for her!
After being beaten by her, Gregory felt deeply defeated. From then on, he never touched racing again, turning his attention to esports instead.
Now, he was already a professional esports player and captain of the country's most famous esports team.
Benjamin crossed his arms, leaning lazily against a tree trunk, a hint of amusement flashing in his deep eyes.
"You did great."
With that, he reached out and gently ruffled Sophia's hair. "Those two really deserved to be taught a lesson."
Getting praised, Sophia immediately cheered up and pulled his hand to walk inside.
The left-behind Chase felt helpless.
Benjamin, that's not how you spoil Sophia!
Sophia's behavior just now was too arrogant, too asking for a beating.
Those two were probably furious now, but he had to admit, seeing them frustrated was quite satisfying!
Chase took a sip of mineral water to rinse his mouth, wiped his lips with his suit sleeve, and hurried to catch up.
The mountain was full of trees, dense forest, and misty clouds, making it almost impossible to see the path ahead.
But Sophia led Benjamin and Chase straight up the mountain without any hesitation in her steps.
Chase followed behind her the whole time. He could roughly remember the route they took, but somehow, when he saw those densely packed trees, he quickly forgot which way to go through.
Sophia noticed his thoughts and explained with a light laugh, "The forest here is very dense. Unless you're very familiar with this place, you'll just get lost inside and eventually get trapped with no way out."
So, for over twenty years, almost no one had been able to find this place.
After they walked out of the forest, their view suddenly opened up. They had stepped into a place like a paradise.
Halfway up the mountain, there was an elegant and refined villa. It was quite large, full of life and vitality inside.
The decoration and design of the house were rare but impressive enough.
Sophia led Benjamin and Chase inside, pointing at the villa. "Welcome to my home."
She looked up, sunlight pouring down, shining into those clear eyes, as if starlight had been crushed and scattered in those eyes.
Breathtakingly beautiful.
Benjamin began to carefully observe the villa. The courtyard was large, with a green lake on one side and farmland on the other.
Everything in sight was green.
Going further inside, there was a flower garden with many rare varieties and colors. As soon as you got close, you could smell the fragrant flowers.
Many images suddenly flooded Benjamin's mind.
Little Sophia, delicate as porcelain, weaving through the flowers, chasing butterflies.
And her napping in the lakeside pavilion, lying on a chair fast asleep.
Every image was so beautiful.
