Chapter 220 Dressing Room Robbery

Sophia frowned and said, "If I remember correctly, this is my dressing room. Yours is next door."

Savannah's expression changed instantly, but she quickly regained her confidence. "Just because you say it's yours doesn't make it yours. Does it have your name on it? Did you buy it? If not, then anyone can use it - first come, first served."

"True, there's no name on it, but when the dressing rooms were assigned in the group chat yesterday, you didn't raise any objections. So you should follow the rules." Sophia shot back.

Last night Joshua had announced it in the group chat and specifically asked if anyone wanted to switch, but Savannah hadn't said a word.

Yet the next day, she took over Sophia's dressing room.

"I didn't see the message last night!"

Savannah crossed her arms and looked at Sophia mockingly, sneering, "You got in through connections, relying on your relationship with Joshua to join the crew. What right do you have to use such a nice dressing room? You're just using all of us as stepping stones into the entertainment industry!"

She stared at Sophia's face, unable to suppress a wave of jealousy rising in her heart.

Why should some people easily get what she had to sacrifice everything for?

What was so special about Sophia anyway?

She just had a pretty face!

Yet she had Joshua, who was known for being fair and impartial in the industry, completely wrapped around her finger, willing to break his own rules for her.

What gave her the right?

A crowd had gathered outside the door - actors and crew members - but not one person came in to intervene.

Everyone stood at the doorway watching eagerly, afraid to miss the drama.

Sophia lowered her eyes and shook her head with a smile.

She had never wanted to enter the entertainment industry - Joshua had practically dragged her here to help out.

Everyone on set knew this unspoken truth. She hadn't expected Savannah to use this as an excuse to cause trouble for her.

"I got in here on my own merit. If you're not happy about it, feel free to take it up with Joshua. That's not a reason for you to take someone else's dressing room."

Sophia hadn't wanted to argue with her, but if this happened once, it could happen a second time, a third time...

If she backed down today, everyone would think she was easy to push around.

"You! You..." Savannah's face flushed red with anger, but she was left speechless, stammering for a long time before finally just glaring at Sophia.

"What's going on?" A soft female voice suddenly came from the doorway, with a hint of inquiry.

"Saskia!"

The onlookers made way for Saskia to enter.

When Savannah saw Saskia, she rushed over as if seeing her savior. "Saskia, you have to help me!"

Saskia looked around the dressing room and finally fixed her gaze on Sophia. "What happened?"

Before Sophia could speak, Savannah gave an embellished account of what had just happened.

Of course, her version was biased in her own favor.

But Saskia still picked up on something. "If I remember correctly, this dressing room was originally supposed to be Sophia's. Why are you here?"

Savannah's expression stiffened, and she explained with an awkward laugh, "That dressing room's lighting was too dark, affecting the makeup application. Plus, my assistant and team were cramped in there with no room to work."

Her tone was full of complaints.

Saskia raised an eyebrow and gave her a cold look. "My dressing room is big with decent lighting. Do you need me to give you my dressing room?"

Saskia had been in the industry long enough that neither her age nor experience was something Savannah could match.

Savannah's face immediately went pale, and she awkwardly withdrew her hand. "No, no need. I think mine is fine."

With that, she left with her team.

Before leaving, Savannah shot Sophia a vicious glare and left reluctantly.

Saskia moved closer to Sophia and said in a low voice, "Don't pay attention to her. The shoot's almost done anyway - just bear with it for one more afternoon."

Sophia nodded. "Thanks for today, Saskia."

Saskia waved her hand dismissively. "No need to be so formal with me. Alright, shooting's about to start. Go get changed and do your makeup."

With that, she turned and left.

When Sophia emerged from the dressing room in her outfit, almost everyone had arrived.

The moment she walked out, she instantly drew everyone's attention. The dress seemed tailor-made for her, perfectly outlining her figure, with delicate patterns adding an air of gentle elegance.

Sophia's clear, bright eyes sparkled brilliantly under the lights, dazzling and captivating, making it impossible to look away.

Joshua had specially hired the most professional makeup artist. Though the makeup was subtle and elegant, it magnified every advantage of her face, making her breathtakingly beautiful.

Someone in the crowd gasped, breaking the surrounding silence.

Everyone slowly came to their senses.

Joshua walked over first, showing a satisfied smile. "See, you look amazing dressed up like this. It wasn't a waste to specially hire a makeup artist."

This was treatment that not even the male and female leads received in the entire crew.

But no one dared say anything, not only because everyone knew about Sophia and Joshua's relationship, but more importantly, because she deserved it.

"Is it really that exaggerated?" Sophia felt uncomfortable being stared at by so many eyes, and a faint blush gradually crept onto her cheeks.

"Not exaggerated at all. You probably have no idea how charming your face is." Joshua teased with a smile.

He walked over and waved at everyone. "Alright everyone, get ready. We'll take the group photo first, then take some separate shots of the couples."

The first few shots were group photos with the entire crew, followed by couple shots of the male and female leads.

When it was Sophia's turn, Ronnie walked up to her with a red face and extended his hand. "Sophia, shall we?"

Sophia hesitated but didn't put her hand in his. She smiled and said, "Sure, let's go."

No way! She was a married woman.

If Benjamin saw this, he'd definitely get jealous again!

Coincidentally, just as Sophia thought of Benjamin, she saw a tall figure enter through the doorway.

He greeted Joshua and said something, then sat down beside him.

He slowly looked up, and his gaze met Sophia's.

The distance between Sophia and Benjamin wasn't close, so she couldn't see the expression in his eyes clearly, but she instinctively sensed some danger.

She waved at Benjamin, then was called away for the photo shoot.

The second male and female leads didn't have many scenes, but they played a very important role in driving the plot forward. Plus, this couple's tragic ending left many viewers with lingering regrets.
