Chapter 218 CP Fans
"If you ask me, he deserved it! You have no idea how disgusting Alvin's eyes were every time he looked at Sophia! Sending flowers and chocolates every day, and saying..."
As Cillian kept talking, he suddenly sensed something was off.
Why was the temperature in the room dropping? Did someone turn on the AC?
He looked up and met Benjamin's dark, gloomy eyes.
Benjamin's lips curved into a cold smile, his voice low and carrying a hint of murderous intent, "What else did he say?"
Cillian suddenly shivered, gave an awkward laugh, and grabbed a cushion to hold, "Bro, don't smile like that, you're scaring me."
Benjamin repeated his question, "What did he say?"
"He said even though Sophia is married, he doesn't care. As long as Sophia looks at him once, he'd be satisfied." Unable to withstand the pressure, Cillian repeated everything Alvin had said.
He concluded: "I think Sawyer hitting Alvin yesterday must have something to do with Sophia. After all, Sawyer's always been gentle with people and never really interacted much with Alvin."
Benjamin crossed his legs, leaning against the sofa back, his thick lashes hiding the true expression in his eyes, making it hard to read his emotions.
But Cillian understood this was a sign of Benjamin's anger.
Since Benjamin wasn't speaking, he didn't dare say anything or leave either.
Cillian sat there restlessly for a long time until Benjamin slowly stood up, striding toward the stairs on his long legs, "Wash the dishes. I'll check tonight."
Cillian: "Okay!"
I might not be human, but you're really something!
That evening, the people Benjamin sent to investigate returned, but they found nothing.
Only Sawyer and Alvin were in the bathroom at the time, and no one knew exactly what happened between them.
"Look into Alvin," Benjamin ordered.
...
At the hotel, Sawyer lay in bed scrolling through his phone while Flynn paced back and forth in the room, furious.
"That bastard! He's so disgusting! How dare he even think about going after Sophia."
"Stop pacing, you're making me dizzy." Sawyer put his phone aside and rubbed his aching head.
Because of the Alvin incident, the crew had suspended filming for a day, and someone had already leaked the story online.
It was trending on Facebook, and in just one morning, it had climbed to the top of the trending list.
His agent Jagger had specifically contacted him at noon, asking what exactly happened and saying the company needed a reasonable explanation to do emergency PR.
But Sawyer said nothing except "He deserved it" before hanging up.
Jagger was so angry he almost had a heart attack. He'd been stressed all day, and when he tried calling Sawyer again, he found the line was already disconnected.
Flynn walked over and sat on the bed, his face extremely grim, "I'm just so angry! It's absolutely disgusting!"
Sawyer looked at him and shook his head with a smile, thinking that with Flynn's temper, if he knew Isabella was behind all this, wouldn't he be furious?
That's why Sawyer hadn't told Flynn about it.
Isabella... couldn't stay in the Brown family anymore. He needed to think carefully about what to do.
That evening, Alvin was resting in the hospital, his stomach growling with hunger, but there was no caregiver to buy him food, and he didn't want to go out himself for fear of being recognized.
Just when he was feeling desperate, someone suddenly knocked on the door.
A man walked in, bundled up tightly, wearing a baseball cap and black mask, dressed in a trench coat.
Alvin sat up in bed, a flash of wariness in his eyes, "Who are you? Who let you in?"
Could it be a crazy fan?
The man slowly walked to the bedside, removed his hat and mask, revealing Sawyer's face.
Alvin's eyes widened in shock. The moment he saw him, his whole body ached, pain seeping through every bone.
He gasped and asked coldly, "What are you doing here?"
"Just catching up. Don't be nervous, I won't beat you up again." Sawyer pulled over a chair by the bed and sat down, then added, "As long as you don't disrespect Sophia again."
Hearing Sophia's name, the muscles in Alvin's face twitched, and he shook his head desperately, "No, I wouldn't dare!"
The biggest regret of his life was messing with Sophia.
"That's best. I came to see you today to ask what Isabella said to you that day." Sawyer sat in the chair, his expression calm, still looking like a gentleman, but Alvin sensed a bone-chilling coldness.
As if one wrong word would earn him another beating.
Fear rose in Alvin's heart. Trembling, he took out his phone and begged, "I only approached Sophia because I listened to that bitch Isabella. I was wrong, Sawyer, I really know I was wrong. I'll never do it again!"
Sawyer took his phone, opened the chat interface with Isabella, and looked through the messages one by one, listening to the phone recordings.
Alvin wasn't some naive fool who would throw everything away for love after all.
Isabella had asked him to do things without offering benefits upfront, so he'd kept a backup plan, preparing to use these recordings to blackmail her later.
Unexpectedly, they were coming in handy now.
Sawyer sent those recordings to his own phone, then casually tossed it back to him and got up to leave.
"Sawyer, I just had a moment of weakness. Please don't release the recordings."
Sawyer stopped in his tracks and couldn't help but laugh coldly, "If you knew it would come to this, why did you do it? Sophia is my sister, and I absolutely won't allow anyone to hurt her."
Watching Sawyer's departing figure, Alvin's heart sank to rock bottom.
...
Filming continued the next day. Joshua found a new male actor, Ronnie Ford. He wasn't well-known in the industry, with only one TV series with little popularity as his representative work.
Surprisingly, his acting was very good, and his features were sharp and defined. When he wasn't speaking, he had an imposing presence, a kind of commanding aura that matched the second male lead in the script.
Ronnie was one person when in character and another when out of it.
Ronnie's personality was quite shy. He didn't like to talk much, and when facing Sophia, he couldn't help but blush.
Ronnie's eyes would dart away, not daring to meet hers.
When Saskia and Sophia were together, she quietly brought this up, her tone full of teasing, "You're beautiful, and you two look good together as a couple. I bet when this movie comes out, you'll gain quite a few shippers."
Sophia felt a bit embarrassed by her words and couldn't help but remind her, "Saskia, I'm already married."
Saskia sighed, staring at Sophia's face, feeling more regretful the more she looked, "With your face and outstanding acting skills, it's such a waste not to stay in the entertainment industry. And why did you get married so early? What a shame!"
"I don't think it's a shame. Whether it's acting or getting married, these are choices I made."
Once you make a choice, you don't regret it.
Not before, and certainly not in the future.
