Lily wasn't going to let Sophie get away that easily!
"Weren't you just making all that noise, demanding evidence and wanting to settle the score?"
She crossed her arms in front of her: "Now we have the surveillance footage, so where are you going? Sophie, don't tell me you're feeling guilty!"
David snorted coldly: "Guilty about what? Sophie is just too badly hurt and needs to go to the hospital for treatment."
"Then let's just wait for the surveillance footage to be pulled up. It won't take much time anyway, and she's not going to die."
Lily glanced at Sophie, scaring her so much that her eyes darted around nervously.
Sophie immediately pretended to faint in David's arms: "David, I really feel terrible, I can't hold on much longer."
"Sophie, just hang in there a bit longer. Once we pull up the surveillance footage, I'll teach Lily a good lesson for you!"

She called out loudly: "Sophie, you can't escape this - the surveillance footage is right here!"
Sophie leaned against David, her eyelashes trembling with fear, but she didn't dare wake up!
"Sophie doesn't need to hide. Lily, you just wait!"
David walked off angrily, carrying Sophie.
Lily watched Sophie's frightened state and laughed out loud: "I thought you were so capable? And you got scared off just like that?"
Dennis said in a low voice: "I can stop them."
Without his permission, even the police couldn't come up here.
"No need."
Lily waved her hand.
"Such a good opportunity to expose her, and you want to give it up?"
"It's not that I want to give it up, but this surveillance camera is broken."
Lily had already checked the camera earlier - there was no infrared response; it was broken.

"What kind of opportunity?"
"Of course, it's a great opportunity to talk to the Gonzalez family heir about investment. I absolutely can't let the Roberts family get there first."
Dennis's lips curved into a smile: "Don't worry, Gonzalez Group will invest."
"You're so sure? Did you already go meet that Gonzalez family heir just now?"
Dennis coughed, answering somewhat guiltily: "Yes, I met him."
"So how did your talk go?"
"Not bad."

Lily suddenly looked around: "Have you noticed how quiet it is around here? There's not a single person in sight?"
Dennis's expression remained calm: "Are you hungry?"
"A bit hungry. Let's go then. The Gonzalez family heir probably cleared this place out, so we shouldn't be in the way here."
Dennis glanced at her: "How's the new house?"
"Pretty good. Why don't we go back home to eat? I can show you my new house."
"Sure."
