Listen to me

Listen to me
“Yes it is amazing, your two ladies have made a great item. Sydney just stopped by I should have…” Like she heard him say her name she walked into the kitchen and smiled.

“What are you ladies up to tonight?” Sydney asked when she entered the kitchen.

“Here taste this.” I looked at her as I handed her the candy.

She looked at it first but didn’t eat it. When she looked at Draven he smiled and popped one into his mouth. I heard Sydney moan and I looked at her face, it was showed pour bless. I laughed and ate another one. I was over joyed that they liked the candy. It would change many things for the vampires.

“What is this?” Sydney asked going for more. Putting another in her mouth with another moan.

“We call them Crimson Sweets. Mom and I made them, we did hard candy too but it isn’t ready yet. We have been cooking all night. Mom was just going to head to bed. She did most of the work because I can’t really cook.” I laugh at the look from mom. "With her by my side I can"

My mom gave me a hug and nodded to the others then headed to shower and hit the bed. I smiled at her and watched the two older vampires sneak another candy. I shook my head and laughed.

“You two eat too many more and I will be out.” I yelled at them smacking Draven's hand.

“Draven you have to market these! I will so buy two cases.” Sydney told him looking like she was in heaven.

“We shall do that, but in a lab.” Draven knows that it would be better in lab.

“How are you going to tell other vampires about them? I mean it took you like eighty calls to get one vampire on the phone. Maybe you should have a meet and greet and learn about ideas others might have. Such as the few I have come up with. It is a way to connect to one another. I am sure that a social network would help a great deal. Get a good nerd to help you and you could have a wonderful way to keep up with vampires.” I said off handed not really thinking they would agree.

They both looked at me like I had grown a second head. What had I said that upset them? I cleaned up the kitchen and stored the rest of the chocolate in a bowl and put it into the fridge. That is the thing with this candy it had be kept in the fridge. The blood would make the whole room smell if it was left out. So they went in the fridge and I sighed when I turned to look at the two of them. They both hand two candies in their hands.

“So what do you think?” I can tell that they aren’t sure. Maybe it was the fact that they where older and didn't know how to deal with the new age.

“I think you might be a genius.” Draven told me with candy still in his mouth.

“Well thank you so much.” I blushed and twisted my foot. Draven laughed giveing me a big hug. I sighed and took in his scent.

“We should try to get the information out and find a human that would be able to work with the internet stuff.” Draven looked to Sydney.

“Bastien might know someone that can work with it.” Sydney told him as she tried to sneak more candy.

“Call him Sydney I need to talk to Natalia.” Draven watched as she took another candy.

She nodded and Draven moved me out of the kitchen to go into the front room. I smiled at the view of the mountains, but I really wanted to be back in my brown stone. The city called to me and I wanted to be free to go on the internet or call friends. It was hard to be hidden away like this. This house was amazing and I loved it, but the lab bothered me. The same went for Blaze. That man wasn't right and I wanted away from him.

“So talk...” I told him as he looked me over.

“You’re still pissed off at me? I know I should have listened to you, but what would I have said to him or anyone else?” Draven asked looking sad.

“Yes I am still pissed off at you. Just because I’m young in the vampire nation doesn’t mean I don’t know what I am talking about. That man is pure evil! If you had listened to me right away we might have caught it before he had more power.” I told him with a glare. "Sydeny no more candy"

We laughed whens he yipped at getting caught. Why didn't he want to listen to me? Was what I saw, felt not good enough? It hurt my heart to think that he wouldn't hear me. I had a feeling that something was off that something had changed in herself. Draven was amazing and I was sure I loved him. Hold on did I just say I loved him? I wasn't really sure when that happened but it was true. I wouldn't tell him that however. Blocking my thoughts from him as he spoke.

"It was right, and I know that. Trouble is we can't just kill him because you had a feeling." Draven told her then sighed. "I know he was in your room but I didn't get anything more. Well we can handle him. He is still very young and doesn’t have the power a normal vampire would have.”

“He has power of a demon though, you didn’t think of that did you?” I fely my anger and hate in my own voice.

I growled at him when he got to close and glared when he pulled away from me. I finally sat down on the sofa and folded my legs under me. I didn’t want to think about the fact that Blaze wanted something from me. I didn’t know what it was though; the moments in my room were a dark blank to me. I wanted to know what happened in that room but something was blocking the images from my mind. I hated to feel like this and wanted to scream at the top of my lungs. I watched as Draven walked around the room and then stopped and started again. He was as ramped up as I was; I wonder if that is a side effect of the candy.

“Well what are we going to do now? We can’t just confront him; he would say we just picked him out because he was a guy. I could have invited him into my room. Not that I would.” I told him thinking it all over.
