Chapter 102 - The Blessed Luna

Shelby's POV

Soon we were called back. We had to go to the steam room, then shower with special herbal soap. Next, we went to this well lit place, like a sunroom, that had plants all around. Soft peaceful music played in the background, and comfy lounge chairs all over. We picked out three close by each other. Three women came in to apply face masks and cucumbers to our eyes. Jenna asked if ee could eat them and the woman informed us they were dipped in something to help with eye puffiness and dark circles. I heard shuffling and a lady came in to announce that there will be nine women coming in, they will give us manicures, pedicures, and shoulder massages all at once.

"I'm so excited to find out about if your expecting." I told Jenna. "If you are maybe it won't be much long Jackie will too, then we'll have babies all over the house."

"I'm good. I'm not sure I was made to be mother material." Jackie chuckled.

"Maybe it was just something I ate. Don't get your hopes up Shelby."

"Well I still want to go shopping. All this baby talk has me thinking about wanting one too." I said excitedly.

The women around me told me to stop moving. I giggled and apologized. I don't know why I'm getting so excited. Maybe because I died, now new life is intriguing to me. Having a baby isn't something I've ever thought about before. The more I think about it, though, the more I want it. Then, what about the revolution ... Can I choose myself? Can I be selfish?

"Shelby? Are you coming?" I was so lost in thinking about babies and the revolution, I didn't hear Jenna.

"Yeah. Guess I dozed off." I chuckled.

I got up and we were lead to a room with six cement tubs lined in tile.

"Do you want milk, mud, or tea baths?" The lady in charge asked us.

"Milk." We all three said at once.

We went to our tubs and got in. The women brought over buckets of milk and water, pouring them in at the same time. The streams coming out the bucket combining together before splashing against my feet, mixing the milk and water perfectly. I laid back as slowly the warm milk water filled the tub. My mind drifting back into a baby fever state.

Soon I was in a different place, literally. I thought for a moment that I teleported, but could tell this wasn't real. It looked real. I looked around confused.

'Where are we?' I asked Annabella.

'Have you ever seen this place or been here?' She replied.

I looked over to my right and Annabella was standing beside me. Since I got to see her when I returned, she appears this way in my mind now. I'm not sure if it's my subconscious or if I have acquired some form of magic or something to see her as her own being. We still only share one body.

I walked a little ways through a garden of some sorts. I looked and looked, nothing but the sounds of birds singing and a fountain in the middle of the garden were heard or seen. I went to a bench as Annabella sniffed around.

'Maybe this is our mind and body being tired and knowing we need a break.' I say, looking at the birds flying.

'Something doesn't seem right.' She said letting out a huff.

"Hello." I jerked up looking at a tall man who looked familiar. "Welcome to my garden. My name is Coeus, I have brought your mind here because someone needs to speak with you."

I looked at him confused but curious. Out from behind him stepped a smaller person. Once the light hit her face I knew she was Hera. I bowed gracefully to her.

"I am glad my mother made you a Goddess, niece."

I guess I should've really got Liam to teach me about everyone that I'm technically kin to now, maybe this wouldn't have been a shock.

"I have been watching all of you. I want you to know that the next full moon is the only chance to bond the ties. You must unite the three for the next generation."

"What does that even mean and who is he?" I asked looking at Coeus. "Why does he look so familiar to me?"

All of a sudden the ground opened and swallowed me. As I fell I thought about dying again. Suddenly, my whole body jerked and I took in a huge breath. I jumped straight into a sitting position with Jenna and Jackie on either side of my screaming.

"What the Hades hellfire is wrong?" Jenna screamed at me, getting in the tub grabbing my shoulders.

I couldn't speak. I just stared at her. I looked around at the women in the room.

"Maybe, this isn't the right place for this. Maybe, we should go home." Jackie grabbed Jenna's arm, whisper yelling at her sternly.

Jenna snapped her head around seeing the other women. She calmed down, let me go, and got out of the tub.

"Sorry. Let's go get showered and dressed." Jenna said, helping me out of the tub.

We got showered and dressed in silence. We walked out to the car and got in. We just sat there for a few minutes in silence.

"Shelby ... what just happened? You were relaxing and then you were sinking. I looked over and got Jackie to come over with me to pull you up. You were lifeless. Your body went limb and you weren't here." Jenna said starting to cry.

"I guess you could say, I wasn't here for a moment."

I explained what happened, projecting it to them.

"We need to go see Liam, now." Jackie said seriously.

Jenna wiped her eyes and we got started back on the road. We went home. Jackie mindlinked Liam as soon as we went through the gate. He was waiting at the front door when we got to the house.

We went to Liam's office, locking the door behind us. We made sure to be quit so we didn't alert Thomas or James. I'm not wanting Thomas worrying or James cräcking jokes right now.

"What happened?" Liam asked worried.

"Who is Coeus?" I asked.

"The God of the Mind and ..." He paused, his eyes widening as if realization hit him.

"And what?" Jackie asked him.

"Artemis and Apollo's grandfather. He's a titian, not a god actually."

I grabbed his arm and projected what I saw. The people, the conversation.

"That's what she said to Thomas, but she said less to him." Liam said, his eyes wide.

"What do you mean?"

"Well we were keeping it a secret. We thought she meant a wedding." Jenna chimed in.

"Actually ... You are halfway correct." Hera appeared.

"We can't give you direct leads. The F-A-T-E-S will change the plans out of spite." Rhea said, appearing beside her. "It's a little crowded in here."

"The other part you already know Shelby. You've had it on your mind all day." Hera smiled.

"Wait ... How did you two find out the plans of our futures?" I asked giving them a scolding look.

"It's been such a long time since we have had any around." Rhea laughed and the disappeared.

"Wedding and babies." Jenna said, all our jaws dropping.

"What?" Liam yelled, he pointed at Jackie. "Who? You?"

"And if it were me?" Jackie retorted, crossing her arms across her chest.

"That would be heavenly. You'd make a great mother. I can't wait." Jackie looked horrified at his words.

Jenna and I could only snicker to each other. We walked out leaving Jackie to fend for herself. I stopped and looked at Jenna.

"My niece or nephew will be spoiled and blessed." I smiled at her.

"Shelby ... About that ..."

Before she could say anything I touched her stomach. I inhaled deeply as I felt myself being pulled into her through my mind. I stopped and looked around.

'Look.' Annabella chuckled.

I looked over and there it was. I could see it as plain as day. Too small to have a heartbeat just yet. It was forming it's legs and arms though. All of a sudden I was looking in Jenna's eyes. I took a deep breath.

"What the Achilles heel was that?"

I grabbed her had and showed her what I saw. She broke down crying. I held her. Jackie busted out the door hearing Jenna.

"What's the matter?"

I showed her. She started to cry too. I then showed Liam who came running out.

"Maybe ... We should go show James." I said hugging Jenna to me.

She nodded and we headed upstairs.

"Look like you lies become your truth." I teased her.

--- I wonder what the guys will think of this? Oh crap I also have to explain what has happened today. ---
