Chapter 103 - The Blessed Luna

Thomas' POV

Shelby and Jenna walked in my office. I was a little confused because they were still suppose to be out and relaxing.

"What are you girls doing back here?" James asked before I could.

"Well ... maybe you two should sit down first." Jenna sniffed, rubbing her nose.

"Have you been crying? What is going on?" James asked just now really getting a good look at Jenna.

"Sit." Shelby used her Luna tone and we all sat down. "Thank you. Alright, first, we went to the spa. We were relaxing and I kept zoning out. Thinking of the revolution and stuff about Thomas. Well, when we went to take our milk baths I really zoned out."

"If that's what you wanna call it." Jenna said giving Shelby a look. "Jackie and I were talking and I noticed Shelby was quiet, so I looked over at her. She was sinking down into the tub."

"Well, it's not like I had control over my body ... my mind wasn't even technically in control." Shelby retorted.

"Wait a minute. What are you going on about?" I asked, super confused at this point.

"Put your hands on the desk, both of you." Shelby demanded.

We did as she asked of us. She held our hands and projected what happened when she "left her body".

"Who was that guy?" James asked looking defensive.

"It turns out that Coeus is actual a titan. He is the father of Leto and grandfather of Apollo and Artemis." Jenna answered with a nasty sneer.

"Does this mean he is on our side or a neutral party?" I wondered out loud.

"I'm not sure, but he didn't give off any evil vibes. Even Annabella didn't feel threatened."

"Well then, I guess you know now about what we have been up to?" James chuckled.

"Yes. I appreciate it ... but ... I want to plan my own wedding. So in a little while, when we deliver the big news to Joel and Garrick, I'm going to get with Joel and we will definitely get to work on that."

"What big news, Shellie."

Shelby beamed brightly and held our hands again. She showed us what was undoubtedly a baby forming in a womb. When she was done James and I looked at each other with tears in our eyes.

"Who?" I asked looking between Jenna and Shelby.

Shelby smiled and turned to look at Jenna.

"Are you serious?" James asked in a soft voice.

"Yep." Was Jenna's simple reply fighting back tears.

"I'm gonna be a dad?" James started to cry.

He got up and went to Jenna. When she nodded her head, he hit his knees. He got between her legs and hugged her stomach.

"Hey little dude, I'm your dad." He said as tears fell down his cheeks.

I pulled Shelby closer. I can't wait to know that feeling, to be able to watch as her stomach grows with our baby. I sighed.

"Can we go with you to see Joel and Garrick? It's my wedding and his baby too." I said with a huge smile.

"I'd love that. I figured you would just let me handle it like my Luna Ceremony."

"That was because it was your day, your ceremony. The wedding includes us both. I'm actually so glad you know now so we can get it planned together."

"I love seeing how excited you get about this."

"I'm taking a vow and having a ceremony to further lock in my commitment to love you for all eternity, literally. I'd follow you to the ends ..." Shelby threw her hand over my mouth cutting me off.

"Maybe, you should save it. I want to write our own vows."

I smiled and kissed her hand over my mouth. We got the parents to be to get up and we all headed to Joel and Garrick's. On the way we ran into Jackie and Liam. They were walking to the stairs, going up, as we were a few steps from the bottom, going down. Shelby waved and side stepped. She went to tumble and before anyone could react, Jackie grabbed her. As Shelby was standing up she grabbed Jackie's hand and gasped. She was frozen, her eyes glazed over.

"That is the look she gets when she goes off somewhere else. That's how she looked in the tub and when she touched my stomach. I wonder what she sees now."

Suddenly she took a huge sharp breath in and stared at Jackie. Jackie subtly shook her head and Shelby told her later they will talk. I was curious now. What could Shelby have found out that Jackie doesn't want us to know?

"You can meet Shelby in her office later, after we get back." I nodded at Jackie, who looked a little relieved, which only peaked my interest even more.

They went upstairs as we were headed to the front door.

"Ok, so everybody put on serious faces, as if we are upset with them about something. You got me Thomas."

"Alpha mode activated." I laughed.

The girls just rolled their eyes and laughed. We stopped in front of the door, the girls behind me and James. Garrick answered the door and we walked into the living room. Garrick called down Joel to join us. We sat Garrick and Joel on the couch and the four of us stood in front of them.

"Garrick and Joel, we have came here to deliver some extreme life changing news." I said, being as serious as I could.

"What could be so important that you have to come in here like this? Our daughter and son are right here, so what else could it be that would life changing for us?" Joel said pointing at himself and Garrick.

"We've heard from someone that you will be getting a new title." James grinned.

"We are retired and we don't want a new title." Joel said shrugging, brushing his imaginary hair of his shoulder as he looked away from James.

"Mom." James huffed. "Fine. I guess Renee will be it's only grandma. Dad do you want to be grandpa?"

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, JAMES DONAVON MICHAELS!!!" Joel screamed jumping up and off the couch. "ARE YOU SERIOUS??"

"A baby? An actual baby? It's been so long. There hasn't been a baby in the family since Liam." Garrick said getting up and walking over to them.

Joel was already hugging Jenna and kissing her belly with her shirt raised. I was so amused. I then thought that if Shelby and I were to get pregnant, we had no one to share the news with, I mean that lives here on earth. I know Selene and Helios would be wonderful grandparents. I just wish my mom and dad could see them.

"I also would like to speak with you Joel." Shelby spoke up after a few minutes.

"Are you pregnant too?" Joel smiled and started to get excited.

"No, but I do want to plan my own wedding." Joel's face fell.

"Too bad, that would have completed the whole trifecta if you and Jackie get pregnant." Joel said sadly.

"Yeah, I would have guessed all three would have gotten pregnant at the same time. A united front in motherhood." Garrick laughed.

"That's it. We have to bond the ties and get pregnant." She said turning to me.

"What?" I asked confused.

"The unity of three for the next generation. That is all three of us getting pregnant by the next full moon." Shelby beamed. "I would love that. Oh no, Joel come to my office tomorrow morning for wedding planning. Jenna, we got to go ... now."

Shelby grabbed Jenna and rushed off to the packhouse. James, Joel, Garrick, and myself just stood there dumbfounded by what just happened and how fast it happened. I don't know what they are going off to do or where they are going off to do it, but Shelby seemed determined about something.

"It would have been fun to secretly plan her wedding." Joel said with a pout.

"You'll be ok, dear."

"I know. I'm just over the moon about having another baby in a few months."

"If the Fates design works out, there will be three new babies in a couple of months." I chuckled.

I thought about Jackie. I wonder what it is she didn't want Shelby to announce out loud. I wonder if that is where Shelby drüg Jenna off to. James and I chatted with Joel and Garrick some more.

"You ready to head back to the house?" James asked me. "Big wedding planning tomorrow. And, mom ..."

"I know, James." Joel huffed, giving him a disgusted look. "No fighting for the bouquet. Ugh!"

We all laughed at his face and tone. James and I walked back to the house after saying goodbye.

"You gotta help me get some work caught up for the next few days." I said to James with a pleading tone. "I really want to be there for Shelby with this wedding planning."

He agreed and we went and got started on some easy stuff.

--- I wonder what Jackie's deal is? I hope Shelby don't mind letting me know in confidence. Wait, does Shelby have to become pregnant on that night? ---
