Chapter 46: Merciless
Daniel
I took him inside and saw her sitting on the couch. Her eyes widened as she saw him and immediately got up.
“I hoped--”
“Why is he here, Daniel?” She looked scared. “I don’t wanna face him”
“You need to punish him for what he did to your mom!” I reminded her. “Did you forget? You have to take your revenge. Your mom… deserves it”
She sighed and looked down. “But… he… he is still my father…”

He sighed. “Let go of relationships that hurt you”
“Really?” I raised an eyebrow and he sighed in despair. “I-I mean always hurt you”
I sighed. “But… okay… how do I take my revenge?”
“That’s on you. Do whatever you want to, with him”
I nodded. Fine. I will take revenge. He killed my mom, right? I will kill him!
“Can I kill him?” I asked him. He looked at me shocked.
“You would?”
“Yes”
“You can, but only after I have taken my revenge. Let m torture him--”
“Daniel”
“Yeah?” He looked at me.
“I know you hate him and you can… take your revenge, but… you are my husband, don’t be a monster with him, okay?”
I think he understood me and nodded. I thought maybe he would get angry but I couldn’t believe it!
“He will be in my base. when I will be done, you can kill him”
I nodded and smiled. He smiled back and went out with his men and took him to his base. I sighed and sat down.
Maybe I could really punish him and forget about what happened and live a happy life with Daniel now.
The doorbell rang and I went there, confused. He couldn’t return so soon, right?
I opened the door and was pleasantly surprised when I saw Avril and Eric. I smiled at them. “Hello!”
I hugged Avril and let them in. They sat down on the couch.
“Here I am with the invitation!” She took out a card and gave it to me. “I will wait for you!”
I took the card, while a smile remained on my lips. I read it. The wedding was two days later and it was a good thing: till then, this thing will sort out too and I and Daniel can be together too. We will marry.
“That’s good. You know what? Daniel and I are gonna re-marry!”
The shock on Avril's face was evident, but Eric was freaking out. “Woah, really?”
“Yes!”
“Damn, that’s so good. How about marrying on the same day, at the same venue and in the same church!?” Avril commented.
“Yep, that’s a good idea” Eric added and I smiled bigger.
“Yes! I will talk about it to Daniel!”
“Yeah” Avril smiled and came to my side. “You know, I love you sister”
“I love you too” I smiled back at her.
We talked for a few moments, and then they got up to leave. “I think we should leave now”
“uh, really?”
“yes. And when are you planning to get your wedding dress, huh?” Avril taunted. “Your wedding is in two days!”
I laughed. “I will get it soon. Don’t worry”
She nodded. “And yeah. Tell Chris about it soon, he misses you”
I nodded slowly. There is no way I want to keep the past from reuniting us. Everything is going fine now, so I should cooperate.
I took out my phone as soon as they left and called Chris.
“Hey!” I said, as he picked up the call.
“Hello Kate! How are you?”
“I am glad and more glad, Chris” I beamed in happiness. “You know, I am gonna remarry Daniel!”
“Woah, sis, really?”
“Yes!”
“Wow. When?”
“I don’t know, maybe in two days. I will inform you once I am sure!”
“woa… thanks for telling me, Kate. Seems like I am slowly getting my sister back”
I smiled. “True”
“Thanks”
“Yess! and you must already know about Avril and Eric, right?”
“Oh yeah! They told me just some time ago!”
“Yes! We might very well marry on the same day!”
“That’s gonna be an awesome thing!”
“Yup! okay then bye for now, gotta ask Daniel about it!”
“Bye” he said, laughing. He was happy and I was glad that he was.
I hung up the call. Maybe I should ask Daniel directly on call.
I called him.
“Hey Daniel!” He picked up the call, so I said.
“Hey Kate” he said, his breath shattered.
What was he doing? Taking his revenge, right? But why was he panting so heavily? it was as if he was stabbing him mercilessly...
“Uh yeah so I was saying--”
“I will talk to you later, okay?”
“Okay…”
He ended the call and I was in a dilemma.
I told him not to be merciless, right?
