Chapter 45: Revenge Planned

I was glad that Daniel opened up to me. I asked him how he was gonna take his revenge, or rather, “our” revenge.

“He is in the Maldives. I will do something”

“Okay…” I sighed and that’s how he didn’t tell me anything.

Anyway, it didn’t bother me because I knew he would do the best he could.

I was with him and Chris has actually apologised many times, asking me to be the same as before. And actually, I agreed.

There is no point in being angry with someone whose intentions weren’t wrong.

It is not like I suddenly forgot and forgave. But now I will definitely try to mend us for the better. Maybe we could start all over because everything seems to be nice now.

“What?” I was shocked, yet happiness filled in me.

“Yes, and… this can also be used as an apology gift?”

I put a hand on my mouth as I gasped. “Oh my, yes!” I took the ring from his hand.

He had proposed to me to marry him and I literally couldn’t believe that he did. I thought we were gonna break up!

“I should know I can not leave with you” he sighed and got up. “and I know that now”

I smiled. “Same here”

He hugged me. “Let’s plan it”

I nodded and then we went to see the best wedding plans. 

Meanwhile, I also wanted to know if Kate was doing fine after all this. But right now I couldn’t call her because he was choosing a dress for me.

After the plans, the venue and the dress were chosen, so we went back. I called Kaitlyn.

“Hey”

“Hey Avril!” She was excited. “Long time, no see”

“yeah! How are you?”

“I am good. You?”

“Good too. I needed to tell you something…”

“Yeah?”

“Eric and me… we are planning our marriage!”

“woah” she quickly reacted. “That’s great!”

“yeah! I will send you the invitation soon!”

“I am happy for you”

I smiled. Maybe she had her reasons for hiding stuff. “Thanks. How is it going with you and Daniel?”

“Amazing”

“Good to know!”

She giggled. “Yeah. Okay then, later!”

“Yeah”

The call ended and I smiled. 

“I can’t wait” I heard Eric from behind. I turned around and smiled. 

“It is okay, it is just two days later”

“These two days are gonna kill me” he said as he came near me and looked into my eyes. “really”

I blushed and looked away. He just came closer and kissed me. 

Maybe he is the best thing that happened to me.

Daniel

I was planning for the worst revenge I could take. I didn’t know what I should do, or even how, but I knew I don’t want to let Kaitlyn down again. Even if she does want revenge this time and I can't help but do the best for her.

I know that she suffered enough. from everything. I took away all the happiness she was left with so now I will have to return it and I will.

I was off to the Maldives to make a really good plan. I won’t let you die easily, Mr. Adams. Not unless you cry and beg for forgiveness.

The fire in me was increasing and suddenly I had a really good idea.

Wow.

You are gonna suffer now.

I reached the place and first, I sent my men to find him. It was pretty easy because he was not hiding. He thinks that he is in the safe zone because his daughter was being punished.

What a cruel man.

I went to him straight away and he looked at me, after removing his sunglasses.

“Yes?” he cleared his eyes and then a teasing smile crossed his lips. “Mr. Daniel Sullivan? What pleasure I--”

I punched him right in his face and he fell. He got up and wiped the blood on his face and laughed.

“You can’t do anything”

“Oh really, why do you think so?”

“My daughter won’t let you. And you can’t tell her anything otherwise my men will kill everyone--”

“Your men? Do you think you have anyone on your side?”

He looked tense for a second and took out his phone. He called someone but no one picked up. I chuckled.

“You don’t think I am stupid, do you?’

He looked afraid by now. “My… My men must be busy”

“They will remain busy now” I looked at him with disgust in my eyes. “While mine will do the work”

He was confused, and my men came and took him to my car. I chuckled to myself. Finally I was gonna punish the person who deserves getting punished.

I took him all the way back to Los Angeles. It was a peaceful ride: he knew that he couldn't do anything because he was sleeping soundly by the effect of chloroform. 

I stopped in front of my house and asked my men to carry him inside.

Kaitlyn can punish him herself.
