Even though Rhiannon had already started working with and organizing them, she never really cared about the total number of members. Now seeing the big crowd of people standing in front of the, she couldn’t help but wonder how many members in total were in the organization as she knew that not everyone was present since there are people all over the world and also some were working like Fred and the group that was serving in the party.
She massaged her temple as it was her first time feeling terror as she couldn’t believe she would be able to lead all of these people. She regretted her actions of taking over it and wished that she had initially asked how many members were there. However, she understood that she had no other choice than to manage it till she rescued her eldest brother and sister who might be able to know how to manage the organization as they lived in the organization but for the time being, she had to manage it herself cause if she wouldn’t, who would, her second brother?
She shook her head as she refused to give him the position since she didn’t know whether he was her mother’s son or the royal queen’s son. She felt that if the man standing next to her was her brother from her mother’s womb, there would be no problem in shifting the problem to him but how would she find out who is her brother among the four brothers in the palace?
“Thank you,” she said after she saw that she had lost composure and a lot of people were waiting for her to speak.
“My second brother and I will stay here for a few days. We don’t know when we will go back but I hope that you all have received us and you are ready to work with us to move this empire forward, to become unshakeable, and also so that we can achieve our goal,” Rhiannon said with a smile as she knew that they were waiting for her to give them a speech.
Although she never did such things, she believed that she couldn’t luck words to say, and fats proved her right.
“In the following days, weeks, months, or even years, we will be pushing ourselves forward, without limit as we don’t have enough time. We need to get to the top, we need to show the world how talented we all are. We need to show them, how strong and capable we are that nobody deserves to look down upon us. But, even when we get there, all I ask is for you all to respect and honor one another even those people out there, from the rich to poor, from big to small, all kinds of people. No need to be so proud of yourselves and look down upon others. We should be special and make them see what's special about us,” she added.
“We aren’t working hard just to be known or for people to see us for who we are, but to change the world around us and our family. The schedules will be sent soon after I have a meeting with the elders tomorrow. Have a nice day,” she said before bowing to them making them murmur as they never expected her to do that.
At that moment, they understood that she was leading by example of what she had just said, she was honoring and respecting them, it was like they were equals but they all knew that they weren’t. They felt honored but at the same time wondered whether that was the right thing to do as they knew there would be one or two people who would start looking down on her because of her actions.
But If they knew that Rhiannon wasn’t worried about that, they wouldn’t even try stressing themselves.
Rhiannon was led to the big mansion in front of them by Mary and the elders while the others went back to their premises as there were other mansions where they lived.
“Nanny, you never told me that there were so many people,” Rhiannon said as they walked.
“Kindly call me by my name young miss when we are here. I don’t want the others to feel discriminated against or that you are favoring me more than them,” Mary said immediately with a bow making Rhiannon frown as she didn’t like what she was doing.
“You are like my second mother. They should understand that. If anyone has a problem with the way I address you or you continuing serving by my side, then they can come and tell me what they think is the right thing to do,” Rhiannon said coldly making the men and women walking in front, beside and behind them gulp and none of them said anything as they understood her very well.
They also knew that her words were right even though they didn’t want to believe it and wished that they were the ones who followed their teacher during those times. However, when each of them remembered that Mary was the youngest of them in the elder's council and one of the first people to be Celestine's apprentices just like them, they opted to swallow back their anger and dissatisfaction knowing that they would be fighting a lost battle.
