After two hours of traveling Rhiannon and her group had started traveling after getting out of the party intending to go to the airport but changed the direction and arrived at a massive gate in the middle of nowhere and trees surrounding the place.
Although it could be said that the two-hour journey was long, everyone thought that it wasn’t so far from the city as from where they were to the main highway was just fifteen minutes on foot.
“Where is this place?” the Second Prince asked as he had never known that there was such a place during his stay at the capital when he had been looking for Celestine.
“I don’t know. We will know about it in a few,” Rhiannon said with a smile on her face while the second prince stared at her for a long time before rolling his eyes as he wondered how she had the guts to say that she didn’t know where they were when she was the one who had said where they should go.
However, he wasn’t ready to argue with her as he felt that it was childish to argue with her child. Although Rhiannon was more than twenty-two and above, he still viewed her as a child as she was their last born and their little sister.
“I am telling the truth. I just know that this kind of place exists but I have never come here, it is my fight time,” Rhiannon said when she saw the doubt in his eyes and she didn’t want to be labeled as a liar by her own brother.
“Oh, then how did you know this place?” the second prince asked when he understood what she had meant and got curious once more.
“Mom. This is Mom’s empire. I just found out about this empire a few months ago. After marrying Octavius but even he doesn’t know such a place exists or whether I inherited such an empire,” Rhiannon said as her tone carried sorrow when she remembered that because of everything, they were now in hiding. She wouldn’t be able to even see Octavius as she understood that their enemy must keep a watch over them so that when they get in touch with me, the enemies will find out where I had been.
“It's okay. There is no need to be sad. We will try to do everything fast so that we can go back to our loved ones, okay?” Prince Ernest said when he saw the sadness in her eyes and could tell what was on the latter’s mind.
“Okay,” Rhiannon said as she forced a smile.
Even when she had been willing to go to the royal palace, she knew that there was not much difference as she would still be able to call and text Octavius or for him to visit her there but now, there was nothing. No matter how much she wanted to pretend that she was fine, she was still in pain and the more she felt the pain, the more she hated the mysterious organization that was now after her and the more she felt the urge to ruin them completely.
“So please don’t put on a grumpy face all day. At least try to move on with your life and focus on the main thing. That way, you will be able to go to your husband early. Speaking of which, when I see how you behave after just parting with him for only two hours, it makes me wonder whether love is a beautiful thing or you just inherited Dad’s character of loving someone to the end that you would do anything for them even if it is by dying,” Prince Ernest said causing Rhiannon who had her head lowered lift it.
“You are crazy,” she said causing the guy to chuckle.
“What isn’t it true? Can’t you die for your husband?” Prince Ernest asked as if he didn’t care but Rhiannon saw the dangerous and murderous emotions in his eyes as if he would kill someone immediately she replied something he didn’t like to hear.
With this, she massaged her temple as she wondered what she was going to do and at the same time, what kind of answer did the latter want to hear.
“Right now, I don’t have the time to worry about him. He has his family with him who have a lot of money to make sure that nothing goes wrong. I, on the other hand, am known as an orphan and have to work hard to get to the top so that my life cannot be in danger. Can you understand the difference? How can I have time to even give my life to him when it seemed that my life didn’t belong to me in the first place?” Rhiannon asked causing the prince to fall silent as he regretted asking such a question but he knew that whatever had been spilled couldn’t be swallowed back.
Rhiannon opted to tell him the truth, whether he would flare up afterward. However, when she said those words, she completed them by saying ‘My life belongs to my family’ inwardly.
“I am sorry,” he said in an apologetic tone making Rhiannon stare at him before she shook her head.
“There is nothing to be sorry about there. I understand you are worried that I might lose myself but I promise you that I won’t. How can I lose myself when I have a powerful brother to support me by my side?” she asked with a faint smile on her face looking at the man who was staring at her.
Hearing her words, the prince chuckled as he felt that their little girl had a sweet mouth.
‘Okay. You don’t need to worry and don’t shut the world because of what is happening or because you want to manage everything in a short time, We will get there,” he said as he patted her head and Rhiannon nodded.
Both Clare who was with them stared at the two of them and tears were in their eyes as they were happy for their master who had a family related by blood by her side. Now, they knew that Rhiannon would do everything with more determination than in the past and they were looking forward to her positive change.
“We have arrived,” Mary said interrupting their talk.
After they arrived at the huge gate that was opened for them, there was still a long way to go but they arrived after five minutes.
Hearing her words, both Rhiannon and Octavius looked outside through the windows and they were astonished by what they saw.
“Why do I feel like this is your palace in this country? It isn’t inferior to the palace back at home,” the prince said as he felt that with him living here, he wouldn’t miss home so much even shocked him.
Hearing his words, Rhiannon was first shocked but she felt proud even though she wasn’t the one who created what was in front of them.
“I am also shocked. I guess that it might take us months to even familiarize ourselves with this place,” she said making the prince nod his head.
Just as they were talking, someone was already by their door and opened it.
“Young miss, young master,” the man said with a bow.
“The man then raised and helped Rhiannon to step out of the car then she was followed by her brother and the rest.
“Welcome,” they heard people say causing them to turn around in that direction and they were shocked.
“There, there should be more than a thousand people facing them.”
