“She didn’t look like my mom, she was sent on your side by mom’s enemy so that she would notify them when mom came back. You now know why mom never came back,” Rhiannon said to her grandparents who were looking at the woman in disbelief.
“Take her away,” she said to the security then smiled at the guests.
“I am sorry for the interruptions and that side you’ve seen. You don’t have to be afraid of me as am a very innocent, soft, and humble person,” she said as she giggled after the security team left.
“She changed her face too quickly,” someone in the crowd murmured and a lot of people nodded their heads.
“She looks like her mother. Celestine was also ruthless when it came to enemies but softhearted to those who treated her well and didn’t close her paths,” a woman said as she remembered Celestine,
“Yes. Rhiannon is just like her mother and won’t hurt anyone just casually,” another said making those who were still afraid of Rhiannon calm down and stop fearing her but they kept it in their minds not to offend her.
The party then started and Antonio took the three women to the prince’s table to pay their respects as they had not even welcomed the vice president as the hosts.
The prince’s eyes were on Rhiannon throughout making the men on the table notice it and frown.
They thought that he was interested in Rhiannon.
The more they neared, the more the prince saw the two bracelets clearly and held his breath as he couldn’t believe it.
“Your Highness,” the family said as they bowed down in front of him.
“You may rise,” he said in a hoarse voice making everyone around frown as they wondered what was wrong with him.
“Greetings,” they then greeted Brandon, Shawn, and David.
Just as they were leaving, they heard the prince clearing his throat.
“Excuse me, can I see the bracelets on your wrists?” The prince asked stunning them.
They looked around and saw that he was looking at Rhiannon.
Rhiannon also realized that it was directed at her and nodded as she was excited hoping that the second prince could know something about her biological father.
While Mary’s, Amanda’s, and Antonio’s face pales. They had thought that as long the king wasn’t coming everyone would be fine.
“No!” they shouted just as Rhiannon was about to remove her bracelets and she looked at her in confusion.
She also wondered when her nanny had arrived.
“Why?” she asked her while Octavius also looked at his parents.
Although Rhiannon understood that her nanny didn’t want her to be regarded as an illegitimate child, she wanted to know who her father was.
“Please,” the prince said as he stood up walking towards Rhiannon but before he got in front of her, Nanny, Amanda and Antonio stood in front of her.
“Can you please stand aside?” she said respectfully despite her tone being cold.
“No Rhiannon,” they said making Rhiannon angry.
She took the bracelets before passing them to Octavius after giving him an eye as she trusted him to do what she couldn’t and also knew what she wanted.
As expected, as soon as Octavius got those bracelets, he hurriedly passed them to the prince who had seen them communicating with their eyes and saw her passing them before the three elders realized what was happening.
After looking at the bracelets and seeing the wordings on them, the prince was shocked and looked at Rhiannon in disbelief as he recognized them as the family heirlooms.
He had seen them as a kid and then heard stories about them from the elders at the palace; thus, he recognized them.
Although he wanted to jump to a conclusion, he shook his head trying to control himself.
“Where did you get these bracelets?” he asked as he knew that the heirlooms didn’t just consist of the bracelets but other jewels too.
“My dad left them behind. He gave them to Mom,” she said making the prince stumble backwards.
“Your Highness,” the servants who had followed him shouted as they jumped to support him and prevent him from falling.
Because of the commotion, everyone's eyes turned on them.
On the other hand, Amanda, Antonio, and Mary were shocked when they realized that the bracelets were on and some of them saw what was on his hands and were shocked. They wondered how that had happened and they were standing in front of Rhiannon but when they saw Octavius on their side and close to the prince, they understood what had happened.
The bracelets slipped from the prince's hands and the servants were so quick to react that they immediately got them. When they looked at them and saw the wording, they were shocked too.
Since they had heard the prince's question to Rhiannon, they realized what had happened and the fact that the bracelets had changed their colors meant that her blood worked on the bracelets.
They immediately fell to the ground in front of Rhiannon.
"These servants greet the royal princess!"
