“Your Highness?” Rhiannon looked at him in confusion as he couldn’t understand what he was trying to do.
“I want to see who dares to kill someone in my presence too!” Brandon's voice also ran out and that was when the security guards helped in relief and nodded their heads.
When they saw Brandon and the others were quite close to where Rhiannon was standing and all of them could fight the enemy if anything happened, they turned around and left everyone wondering why they left when they seemed as if they wouldn’t.
After all of them left, most people in the hall breathed out the breath they had been holding and sighed.
“How dare you slap her!” Mrs Sanders said as she slapped the woman.
“mom?” the woman asked in disbelief.
“That is my granddaughter. The only person who has our blood running down in our veins. Who do you think you are to slap her?” Mrs Sanders asked angrily taking everyone by surprise as they never thought that she would stand for Rhiannon.
Rhiannon was also shocked and then started feeling warm as she had a family who protected her no matter what she had done. For a moment, she regretted how she spoke to them.
“But she …”
“It's nothing. If anything, I am glad that she isn’t bullied. I wanted to see whether she inherited her mother’s fierce temper. You don’t know but Celestine would never let anyone beat her. She would better sleep hungry or run away from home than to be beaten,” Mr Sanders said adding to the shock.
“Rhiannon, I know that you are displeased by us taking her in but seeing her face always made as feel as if your mother was still with us. Although she didn’t have your mother’s temper and character,” Mr Sanders said as he understood why Rhiannon was angry at them.
“Yes, dear. We were so heartbroken, worried, and also lonely. If she didn’t enter our lives, we would have died along them ago,” Mrs Sanders said making Rhiannon nod her head as she understood them.
She had also wondered how they were still alive after losing their daughter and felt guilty on her mother’s behalf.
“I am back and can take care of my family. You should pack your bags and leave. You can take what they bought you through the years,” Rhiannon said shocking everyone as they never thought that she would get rid of her instead of appreciating them for taking care of her grandparents.
They felt that she was ruthless and cold.
“Rhiannon?” Mrs Sanders was also surprised.
“Trust me on this grandma,” Rhiannon said as she could tell that the woman didn’t look like her mother but was wearing a disguise and made herself look like her mother.
If she wasn’t wrong, she was sent by their side to spy on when her mother came back.
“You can’t get rid of me,” the woman said as he laughed loudly.
“Oh yeah? You should take what I said and I will give you a billion dollars and you can leave or opt for us to do it the hard way,” Rhiannon said coldly.
“A billion dollars? Can you afford it?” the woman asked as she didn’t believe that Rhiannon could afford that kind of money and give it out so casually.
“Yeah,” Rhiannon said as she stretched her hand and people thought that she was crazy.
Immediately, Clare walked towards her and put a billion-dollar cheque on her palm.
“You can take it and leave,” she said and everyone apart from the Dragons members was shocked as they found it hard to believe it but when their eyes fell on Amanda once more, they felt that if Rhiannon made such clothes, then she was filthy rich.
The woman was stunned, looked at the cheque, and saw it was real. She stood there silently wondering what she should do but when she felt cold eyes and glares at her, she knew that she was been watched and she might not escape with the money.
“No,” she said as he teared up the cheque making people think that she was crazy.
“Well since you decided the hard way then you only got yourself to regret,” Rhiannon said coldly at the woman before looking ahead blankly.
“Five people,” she said, and immediately five security guards walked in.
All eyes were on Rhiannon looking whether she was wearing an eardrum communication but when they saw nothing on her ears, they frowned but at the same time became afraid of her.
“Tear up her face and let people see her true face,” Rhiannon said shocking the woman who looked at Rhiannon as if she was looking at a demon.
She wondered how the latter had seen through her disguise. Before she could come back to her mind, she was thrown to the ground and her face started feeling itchy.
No matter how she shouted for them to stop or for help, they continued doing their work.
When people watched what was going on, they looked at Rhiannon who was coldly looking at the woman, and felt that she was a demon.
They vowed not to cross her paths although some justified that Rhiannon wouldn’t be able to do anything to them as they weren’t wearing fake faces.
After what seemed an eternity, the woman’s real face was revealed shocking everyone.
