“You want to slap me for saying the truth?” Rhiannon asked sharply as she shook the man’s hand before letting go making him stumble backwards.
“You slut! Celestine died when you were young thus I am sure that you were never taught manners,” the woman said coldly as she lifted her hand in a flash as she didn’t believe that Rhiannon would hold her wrist as she had done previously.
“No matter how fast everyone acted, even Rhiannon could not dodge the slap.
“How dare you!” cold voices rang surprising everyone.
Antonio who was among them was surprised and looked at the table where Brandon and the rest were then looked at Rhiannon.
“How dare you slap my wife in front of me!” Octavius said as he walked in front of Rhiannon.
“Young miss,” the bodyguards ran into the room when a booming voice from the ear drum took everyone by surprise.
Antonio looked at the dozens of men and women who had run in and looked at Rhiannon with a serious look.
“I am fine,” Rhiannon said coldly but they didn’t stand back.
Instead, they walked towards her and surrounded the Sanders.
“I said stand down or do you want to kill the only family I got?” Rhiannon asked coldly when she saw their actions.
“They hurt you,” Shawn said he couldn’t believe that they agreed to go to the party to protect her as the security couldn’t get in but in the end, she was hurt right in the end.
“I will deal with them myself,” Rhiannon said coldly without even looking at him making people curious of her identity as she talked to the general commander in that tone.
“We live to protect you!” the head of bodyguard said stubbornly making Rhiannon laugh out loudly as she wondered whether these fellows wanted to reveal her identity to everyone.
“I said stand down,” she said coldly as her eyes turned red out of fury.
“Didn’t you hear her?” Mary’s voice was heard.
“But… el,”
“If you are worried about her then some of you should surround the premises in case enemies get in when you are all here to make trouble and some of you remain in the hall,” she said as she knew that telling them to stand down when they saw their leader in trouble won’t do.
They were taught to protect Rhiannon no matter what. They didn’t know who was family to them, anyone who hurt her was their enemy who should be gotten rid of.
The woman who was among the Sanders smiled coldly as she looked at everything that was happening around her. She wished that she could just get rid of Rhiannon there and then so that all the potential dangers could end.
Everyone thought that she had behaved that because of the way Rhiannon had treated Mr Sanders while others speculated that she was afraid that a Sanders bloodline had popped out, and everything she had thought would fall in her hand wouldn’t.
After hearing what Mary had said, the security teams nodded their heads and went back.
Although they had rushed in large numbers, there were still people who had been left outside.
Since they stood around the hall, the other rich families and nosy young rich ladies didn’t dare say anything afraid that they might be killed any second. The atmosphere was tense making Rhiannon massage her temple.
“Get out!” she shouted coldly and it rang all over the hall surprising everyone as they didn’t think that she had that kind of strength.
“But miss,” they said as they were reluctant as they had seen that some of the people present looked as if they would kill Rhiannon at any time.
“Do you want to ruin my mother-in-law’s birthday?” she asked them.
“But your life is more important,” they said stubbornly.
“And to me, this day is special as I want my mother-in-law to enjoy and with you present, the atmosphere is tense,” Rhiannon said.
“But,”
“Rhiannon, they are trying to protect you,” Mary said as she had also sensed and seen the dangers around them.
“Aren’t you here to protect me?” Rhiannon said as she laughed making Mary stunned as she never thought that Rhiannon knew that she knew martial arts and was trained.
“Just leave, nothing will happen to her with me here,” the prince's cold voice sounded stunning everyone and they looked at him in confusion.
