“Finally, you are all awake,” Antonio said when he saw his son and daughter coming downstairs.
“Morning to you too Dad,” they both said causing him to roll his eyes while Amanda smiled when she saw that.
“You told Rhiannon to arrange for the party and everything but you never sent her the guest list?” he asked in a serious tone causing Anabelle to cuss as she was the one with it and didn’t even send it to Octavius.
“Dad, I am sorry. It's all my fault. Octavius, can you please give me her number and I will send it to her?” Anabelle asked but Antonio shook his head.
“It is not entirely your fault. The person who wanted her to do that work should have sent it to her. Also, there is no need for you to send it to her as I already have it,” he said making everyone look at him.
“Where did she get your number?” Amanda asked as she was puzzled.
“Bro, did you give her dad’s number?” Anabelle asked causing Octavius to shake his head indicating he didn’t.
They all looked at each other, and a frown formed on Antonio’s face as he fell into deep thoughts.
“I mostly go to Phenix Hotel when dealing with foreign business people. I guess the manager has my number,” he said making them confused.
“What does the Phenix Hotel manager have to do with this?” Octavius asked jealousy crowding him.
“Apparently Rhiannon stayed at the Phenic Hotel yesterday night,” he said as he stared at his son whose eyes were full of jealousy.
“Isn’t that so expensive?” Amanda asked with a frown as she felt that Rhiannon was misusing a lot of money when she had just arrived at the city.
She wondered if the couple was going to stay in the capital and how much she would use even in a month.
“She told me that she booked the whole hotel for a week so that they could prepare the hotel with all the decorations and everything,” Antonio said.
“What?” both Anabelle and Amanda shouted as they were shocked but Octavius wasn’t.
Although he knew that Rhiannon had lied to his father about the booking, he didn’t dare say anything as he knew that his father was suspicious of Rhiannon after what he had said yesterday and he didn’t want him to go digging for information on Rhiannon as it might make them start arguing more frequently.
“Yeah. I was kind of worried about who would come to the party after being told so late but she told me that I didn’t have to worry about that as the party would be taking place there. Doubted that she booked the hotel for a whole week thus I asked her whether we could go and spend the night there,” Antonio said as he didn’t intend to keep them in the dark.
“What did she say?” Amanda asked.
“She agreed. She said that she already had some rooms ready so that you can get prepared there tomorrow. There won’t be any difference if you go there today or tomorrow. She said that if we spent the night there, it would be great as you could go to the spa at the hotel then tomorrow after waking up, there won’t be a lot of things to be done,” Antonio said shocking them.
“A spa at Phenix? Octavius, don’t you spoil your wife so much to give her that kind of money?” Anabelle said with a hint of teasing but Octavius rolled his eyes.
“That woman never uses my money. She has never taken a cent from me you know. Maybe she will just wear the clothes I order or buy for her but using? She never does and if I tell her to, she always states that she is also working and she can buy whatever she wanted for herself while my money was for taking her out, buying cars, houses and saving for our future,” Antonio said what Rhiannon had once told her.
“Then I guess the companies that Celestine left for her are doing great if she can afford to pay for everything in Phenix Hotel,” Amanda said.
“Then can we just go? I miss Nanny Mary’s meals and can’t wait to eat them,” Octavius said as he felt that the meals prepared by their chef weren’t delicious anymore.
“Who is that once again?” Anabelle asked curiously.
“Rhiannon’s nanny. She is currently at Phenix Hotel helping out with the kitchen preparations so that the meals can be delicious in tomorrow’s event,” Octavius said causing Anabelle to frown and fall into deep thought.
“I said yesterday that something is going on between Phenix Hotel and Rhiannon but you didn’t want to believe it,” Antonio said as he glanced at each of his family who had tried their best to convince him that Rhiannon wasn’t related to the Dragons Organisation.
Seeing the look on his father, Octavius panicked and said, “I think that one of the CEOs left to manage a company for her by her mother has a close relationship with the Phenix Hotel manager and had told Rhiannon about it so when she comes to the capital, she can’t look so weak and easy to be bullied,” he said causing both his mother and sister nod their head agreeing with his word.
Although Antonio didn’t seem to be convinced, he knew that what Octavius had said was right and as long as there wasn’t a shred of concrete evidence showing what Rhiannon’s relationship with the hotel was, he couldn’t say that she was a member of the Dragons Organisation.
“Dad, why do you want so badly to know whether Rhiannon is related to the organization or not?” Anabelle asked with a frown.
“Exactly. Those who didn’t know you are her family might think that you are her enemy,” Octavius said in a serious tone causing his father to look at him.
“Stop looking at him like that when what they are saying is true. You are so addicted to knowing whether Rhiannon is related to that damn organization,” Amanda said coldly when she saw how Antonio was looking at Octavius and she became protective of her cub.
