Chapter 265 Delete The Photos

Sophia tapped a few times on her phone, opening her hacking tools. With practiced ease, she entered a series of commands, exploiting network vulnerabilities and using social engineering techniques to successfully breach David's phone security.

The screen flickered with various apps from David's phone. Sophia's heart raced as she swiped through the screen, eventually finding the photo gallery.

The moment she opened the gallery, she froze.

There were numerous photos, all of the same person—Sophia. In the pictures, she was smiling in the sunlight, engrossed in a book, or showing a shy expression. Each photo was incredibly natural, capturing her most genuine moments. Sophia felt a mix of surprise and a slight sweetness; she had no idea when David had taken these photos.

A thought suddenly crossed her mind.

'Does he still have feelings for me?'

But she quickly dismissed it.

She tried to rationalize David's behavior, convincing herself that he just found her pretty. This reasoning seemed to placate her, though she felt a bit annoyed. She considered deleting all the photos from David's phone but decided to download a few good ones to her own phone first. Then, using remote access, she deleted all the photos from David's phone, leaving only the ones with Daisy.

Seeing the "photos deleted" notification on the screen, Sophia felt a sense of satisfaction.

"That's what you get for taking secret photos. Consider this a lesson."

She wondered when David would notice and if he would figure out it was her. Sophia felt a bit excited, curious about his reaction when he discovered the photos were gone.

By the time Sophia finished, David and Daisy had already gotten off the roller coaster, and the three of them reunited.

Just then, a parade float began to move through Disneyland, its colorful decorations sparkling in the sunlight, accompanied by cheerful music that drew countless visitors. David, Sophia, and Daisy stood excitedly by the float, their faces beaming with joy as they enjoyed the moment.

However, as the float moved, the crowd surged forward, eager to get a closer look at the performance. Sophia was jostled by the crowd, feeling a wave of anxiety. She tried to grab Daisy's hand, but the throng of people quickly separated them.

"Daisy!" Sophia called out, her voice drowned by the noise of the crowd. She looked around frantically, seeing only unfamiliar faces, and felt a surge of unease. David's expression grew serious as he turned, trying to spot Daisy in the crowd.

"Head towards the busy areas."

Daisy was lively and easily drawn to crowds; she might be following the float.

Sophia nodded, her heart filled with worry. She pushed through the crowd, heading towards the float, silently praying for Daisy's safety. David followed closely, his eyes scanning the surroundings like a hawk.

"Daisy!"

The crowd was like a tidal wave, and despite their efforts, Daisy's small figure remained lost in the sea of people. Sophia felt a rising panic.

Wesley and Alison had trusted them with Daisy; she couldn't let anything happen to her!

"We need to split up!"

David suggested urgently, "You go that way, I'll go this way. Stay in touch."

Sophia nodded, feeling uneasy but knowing it was their best option. She ran towards the other side of the crowd, calling out Daisy's name, hoping to hear her voice amidst the chaos.

"Daisy! Where are you?"

Her voice was weak and powerless against the noisy crowd. People around her were laughing and shouting, oblivious to her distress.

David was on the other side, weaving through the crowd.

As time passed, Sophia's anxiety grew. Her palms were sweaty, and images of Daisy's smiling face kept flashing in her mind, reminding her that the lively girl might be in danger.

Finally, David returned to Sophia, looking dejected. "Nothing on my side."

"Nothing here either!" Sophia's heart sank. "There are too many people; we can't find her on our own."

"I understand."

They split up again, with Sophia accessing all the surveillance cameras in Disneyland to look for Daisy.

She quickly entered a series of commands on her phone, using her hacking tools to connect to the park's surveillance system. Multiple live camera feeds appeared on the screen, showing the vibrant attractions and bustling crowds.

Sophia's eyes were glued to the screen, her fingers flying over the keyboard. She rapidly switched between different camera feeds, trying to spot Daisy in the crowd.

But as the images kept changing, Sophia's heart grew heavier. The park was teeming with people, their colorful clothes and cheerful voices blending together, making Daisy's small figure seem even more insignificant.

No matter how carefully she looked, she couldn't find Daisy.

"She's too small; it's impossible to spot her in these images." Sophia's voice was filled with frustration as she paused, feeling a wave of despair.

But she couldn't afford to be discouraged. She adjusted her strategy, focusing on places Daisy might go, checking popular attractions and crowded areas one by one. She resumed switching cameras, searching for any clue.

"Daisy, please be safe."

David wasn't idle either; he quickly made a phone call. "Lock down Disneyland immediately. No one leaves! Deploy security teams throughout the park. Search every corner and find Daisy!"

Sophia was stunned by David's swift actions. She knew David was decisive, but she hadn't expected him to act so quickly. She turned to see the determination in his eyes, feeling a bit reassured.

Soon, security guards began appearing at the park's entrances, dressed in black suits, their faces stern as they blocked all exits. Visitors looked confused and uneasy, asking what was happening, but the guards firmly prevented anyone from leaving.

"Please remain calm. We're conducting a safety check. Your cooperation is appreciated," one guard said calmly.

Meanwhile, David's security teams spread out, searching the park thoroughly. They moved through the crowd, questioning every visitor, trying to find any trace of Daisy.

As time passed, the park's atmosphere grew tense, and the visitors' laughter was replaced by anxiety and worry.

Suddenly, a sharp scream pierced the air. "Someone's dead!"

Sophia's heart skipped a beat. She and David exchanged a worried glance before rushing towards the source of the scream.

"Whose child is this?"
